Part 66

Khushi's trance is broken by Payal's voice.

"Khushi. You are awake. Wait I will call everyone"said Payal and rushed to downstairs to inform everyone.

As soon as everyone heard from Payal that Khushi gained consciousness, all stood to come towards their room but Arnav stopped them.

"Di. I will talk with Khushi first"said Arnav. Thinking it would be wise, others nodded their heads and Arnav went towards their room.

Khushi is sitting on the bed with her head resting on head rest of the bed. she opened her eyes and looked at Arnav.

Arnav looked at Khushi to which she turned away her face.

Arnav didn't have guts to face her but still he stroded towards her. He came and sat beside her on the bed.

"Khushi...."stuttered Arnav with his tone.

"I ......."Arnav is going to say something but Khushi cutoff him "I am sorry Arnavji. I didn't expect that this pregnancy news will come out like this. I am really sorry. You don't worry I will go from your life as soon as we have divorce."

Arnav looked at her scandalized for a second.

"No Khushi. You can't do that. You can't go like that with baby"said Arnav.

Khushi looked at him calmly for few minutes. He failed to understand her emotions.

"Ok Arnavji. I will give your baby to you and go out of your life"said Khushi.

"What the.......Khushi. You are taking me wrong."said Arnav.

Khushi looked at him questioningly.

Arnav cupped her face and said" Khushi. I am really sorry. I know I hurted you a lot by asking divorce. But believe me, I never wanted divorce from you. It is because of that night. I didn't know it was you who was with me that night. I thought that I spend my night with another girl. I felt that I cheated you and don't deserve you. so I asked for divorce"

Khushi looked at him with angry and tears.

"Arnavji. Seriously you asked me divorce for this. You thought you cheated me. This is silly. You could have said to me about this."said Khushi angrily.

"I thought to say but what if you hate me ?? I can bear anything but not hate in your eyes. For you this may be silly Khushi but not for me. You don't even have idea how much I have gone through ?? I wanted to be first for you in every sense"said Arnav.

Khushi could sense pain and truth in his eyes. She hugged him immediately to which he reciprocated.

"I am sorry Khushi. You must be hurted soo much. All because of me. waise you already knew you are pregnant. Isn't it ?? "said Arnav again coming out of the hug.

Khushi nodded her head and said "I came to know it before two weeks"

" Then you could have said to me naa."said Arnav then he reminded something " Kuhsi. Why were you not there that day when I woke up ?? also why din't you said to me ??"

Khushi explained Payal's call and said" I thought that you were regretting for that night. So you are keeping me aloof. When you asked me for divorce* she choked a bit* I thought you don't have any feelings for me. So I thought to go out of your life after our divorce with our baby"

" I am sorry. I am a big fool."said Arnav.

"It's Ok Arnavji. You are also not at fault. But what happened at the downstairs ?? Sheetal, Lavanya"asked Khushi.

Arnav explained her everything.

"Really. They had a good lesson. I couldn't stop myself from laughing when they were saying I am carrying ASR's child It was really a fun"said Khushi laughing.

"For you it was a joke. But for me, it is bitter experience. You Know my heart stopped for a minute when Sheetal said that. I really thought that it was true and hated myself more but when that Lavanya also said same. I was more confused. Really they both are unbelievable "said Arnav.

Khushi didn't say anything.

"Khushi. What if I was really with another girl on that night ??"said Arnav.

"Never. Because my Arnavji never deceives me. You might not remember but I remember Arnavji that day even though you are not in senses you recognized me and even pushed Lavanya when she came near stating as me"

Arnav looked at her wide eye.

"Now Leave it all Arnavji. "said Khushi.

" Yes we should not think about it. I am very happy today"said Arnav and hugged her to which she reciprocated. She felt his warmth after soo many days. Tears formed in Khushi's eyes but she wiped it them off quickly.

"Ok. Now come let's go down. All are waiting for us" said Arnav coming out of the hug.

Khushi nodded and both got up to go but Khushi suddenly held his hand.

"What happened ??"asked Arnav as Khushi is observing him. Khushi kept her hand on his cheek which is imprinted with fingers when Anjali slapped him.

"Arnavji. It is because of me Di slapped you. It must be paining naa"asked Khushi.

"Khushi. It is not your fault. Stop blaming yourself for whatever happens. Now come down"said Arnav.

"Wait"said Khushi leaned on him and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Arnav smiled to her while Khushi blushed at him.

" Shall we move now or there is something more you want still to do ??'asked Arnav in teasing tone.

Khushi opened her mouth and hit him on chest.

"Come let's move"said Khushi and they both came down.

Whole family looked at them who were looking happy. They all felt relief.

Anjali came towards Khushi and hugged her.

"Thank you Khushiji. You made me bua. I am very happy"said Anjali. Khushi smiled to her and went towards Nani to take blessings but Nani stopped her and hugged her.

"Khushi bitiya. You really made all of us happy. We always worried about chote's life but now we are glad you are in his life"said Nani. Then mami and Payal to hugged Khushi.

Akash and NK hugged Arnav congratulating them. Shyam though fuming in anger hugged Arnav as everyone is there.

" Oh god. Aap sab log sirf tale laga rahi ho. "said NK.

"gale not tale NKji" said Khushi.

"oops. Wahi wahi. Let us celebrate the occasion by sweets"said NK.

Payal went into kitchen and brought sweets. All of them fed Khushi with sweets.

"Now enough of feeding Khushi bitiya. Let her take breath atleast"said Nani. All of them settled on the sofa. Shyam went to room making an excuse that he had to make a call. He had enough of their family drama.

"Chote. You take doctor's appointment for Khushi bitiya. Take her for check up"said Nani.

"Ji Nani"said Arnav then turning to Anjali said " Di. Give your Gynaecologist number. I will take appointment"

Anjali simply nodded her head without looking at him. Arnav went near her

"What happened Di ??'asked Arnav.

"I am sorry chote"said Anjali with tears in her eyes.

"Why Di ??'asked Anjali.

Anjali keeping her hand on his cheek said "For this. It must be paining naa"

"No Di. Plz don't say sorry. You have that right on me."said Arnav taking her hands into his.

Anjali nodded her head with tears and they both shared a hug. Khushi looked at the siblings with happy tears. She thanked her devimayya finally making everything set right.

Garima and Lavanya entered the house feeling dejected. Their whole plan got failed. When they entered into the house, Shashi is sitting on the sofa. By seeing his face, it is evident he is angry. They both were going inside when they heard Shashi asking them to stop.

They both stopped on their tracks. Shashi came near them and asked "Where are you coming from ??"

"We.....just went for shopping'said Garima stammering.

SLAP!!!

Shashi slapped Garima tightly on her cheek that she fell down to the floor and his finger marks imprinted on her cheeks. Lavanya helped her mother to get up.

"Shashiji !!"shouted Garima angrily "What is th.........."before she could speak anything Shashi gave another hard slap.

"Don't you dare to open your mouth then you will face worse"said Shashi gritting his teeth.

Garima looked at him with shock while Lavanya said "Papa. What are you doing ???"

Shashi slapped Lavanya too to which both mother and daughter looked frightened.

"What do you both think that I don't know anything where you went and what drama you created ?? NK called me and said everything about your accusations on Arnav."said Shashi fuming in anger.

Garima and Lavanya looked at each other. They never seen this side of Shashi.

Shashi then looking at Garima and said "I thought that you don't love Khushi only but No you din't even love your own daughter.. What type of a mother are you ?? You are teaching your daughter to trap a man for money. No mother in the world will bring up her daughter like you brought her up...... You made her against her sister and me but I didn't mind but after today what you did, you are not even an women....... Now I am vexed up with you, I will divorce you..... Then you can do whatever you want. I will throw you out of this house....... Lavanya will be with me as she is my daughter."said Shashi fuming in anger.

Then turning to Lavanya said " And you!! Don't you have any common sense ? Always you will dance on her tunes. Remember I have seen a good alliance for you...The groom family is coming tomorrow to see you. If you do any nasty things, then remember I don't even think a second to kill you forgetting you are my daughter"

Garima and Lavanya trembled with fear seeing Shashi's anger.

"Shashiji. Plz don't do this to me. Where will I go ??'asked Garima.

"I don't care where you go ?? I can't bear you anymore. You took my goodness as my helplessness. But now not anymore, I won't let you spoil my both daughter's life "said Shashi gritting teeth.

"Shashiji. Plz. I will listen as you say from now onwards. Don't do this to me. " said Garima pleading.

Those who all expected Khushi to be angry with Arnav and punishing him, sorry then. Khushi in this story is an innocent and ever forgiving one.
