Part 32

In Sheetal's Room:

Sheetal is pacing in her room restlessly. She is trying for her bhai's phone calls but it is unreachable.

Then Shyam entered the room.

"Bhai. Where were you ? I am trying for your mobile from long time"asked Sheetal.

Shyam din't say anything. He sat on the bed cool.

"Here I am getting worried about us but you were relaxing."said Sheetal.

"What happened now ?"asked Shyam.

"What happened !!!!!!!! That Kiran was caught by police. What if he spills out truth about us"said Sheetal.

"Relax Sheetal. Nothing of that sort happens. I came completing that work"said Shyam.

"Means"said Sheetal.

"I arranged bail for that kiran from other lawyer. Now he is out of police station. I have sent him out of the city for few days"said Shyam.

Sheetal sighed in relief.

"Really bhai. I feared a lot when that kiran is caught. But when did ASR came to know about this "said Sheetal.

"Don't know. But we have to be more cautious from now onwards."said Shyam.

Sheetal nodded her head.

IN Arnav's room:

Arnav is working in his lappy when Nani, mami, Payal and Akash came there.

Arnav looked at them confusingly.

"Chote. We know you are angry on us. But whatever we did is for you "said Nani.

"Ha bhai. Doctor said it is not good for you to take stresss that is why we hide about Khushiji from you"said Akash.

"Arnav bitwa. Plz forgive us"said mami.

Arnav came near Nani and said" No Nani. It's me who have to say sorry for you people for shouting when I know that my family always thinks about my good. Sorry for shouting on you"

"It's ok chote."said Nani and hugged him.

Khushi who is at the door smiled seeing them.

Khushi came forward and said " Naniji. I have prepared dinner. Shall we go"

Nani along with others nodded and left for dinner.

It was night. Khushi cleaned kitchen and dining table. Everyone already left for their rooms. She too thought to go for sleep when she remembered that now she has to go for Arnav's room. She has to sleep in Arnav's room but now thiers.

She came near room and stopped at the door hesitating. She has to step in it as Arnav's wife. It is not that she din't live in the room with Arnav but there is a lot of difference between situations. She closed her eyes and praying to devimayya when she found someone tapped her shoulder.

She opened her eyes and saw mamiji in front of her looking doubtedly.

"HHBB. What are you doing here closing your eyes ?'asked mami suspiciously.

"Nnnnothing mamiji"said Khushi" What do you want ?"

"I am going for water"said mami.

"Shall I bring for you"asked Khushi thinking to escape for sometime on this pretext.

"No. It's ok. I will go. You go and sleep"said mami and went from there.

Khushi slowly gained courage and opened the door. Arnav was working on his lappy sitting on the recliner.

He looked up by the door opening and saw Khushi.

Khushi smiled to him but he looked down at his lappy not responding.

"Laad governor "murmured Khushi to herself angrily.

"Did you say something ?"asked Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head sideways and went near cupboard, took out her dress and went into washroom to change.

After returning, she directly went out of the room. Arnav just looked at her and immersed in his work.

Khushi entered after sometime with a laptop in her hand.

Arnav saw it and asked" Khushi. Who's that ?"

"NKji's"said Khushi.

"But why did you brought it here ?"asked Arnav.

"Because I have work Arnavji. I too din't go for office today. In office, I will work in system, but in house I don't have laptop . So I brought NKji's asking him"said Khushi and sat down on the bed working.

Arnav din't say anything and immersed in his work.

After sometime, when he saw Khushi, she was sleeping in that sitting his position resting her head on the edge of the bed.

Arnav smiled , went near her, made her sleep properly on the bed, closed laptop and tucked a blanket over her. A smile crept on her face when he covered a blanket.

Arnav again got busy in his work. After a few minutes, he too closed his work and came to sleep on the bed but saw Khushi who is sleeping on it.

Thinking that she won't be comfortable, he took a pillow and slept on the recliner. Before that he made a call to Aman.

Next morning:

Khushi opened her eyes lazily and looked at her surroundings. She at first confused but later recalled everything. She remembered she was working on the laptop then how did she slept on the bed that too covering in the blanket.. Then she thought may be Arnav did this.

She looked for Arnav and saw him sleeping on the recliner.

He is still angry on me or he din't like me as wife thought Khushi. But she brushed off those thoughts and went into washroom to take bath.

Arnav wokeup from his sleep by hearing water sound. He saw on the bed. It was empty and heard water sound from washroom.

He silently shifted on the bed and slept peacefully.

Khushi came out of the washroom and saw Arnav sleeping on the bed hugging a pillow. She smiled and went near mirror to get ready for pooja., went downstairs.

At the Breakfast table:

Arnav arrived from upstairs. All are present there already.

"Di. How are you feeling ?"asked Arnav.

"I am fine chote"said Anjali smiling.

Khushi and Payal came with dishes. They served them.

"Khushi bitiya. You too sit and have breakfast. You have to leave for office naa'said Nani.

Khushi sat down for breakfast.

"Chote. Take Khushi bitiya along with you for office"said Nani.

Before Arnav could say yes Khushi said" NO No Naniji. It's ok. Daily I will go with NKji. Today too I go with him. Otherwise he will feel bad"

Nani nodded her head.

"Dammit. What's her problem with me ? She concern about NK but din't think about husband." thought Arnav.

After completing breakfast" Khushi. Come in ten minutes. I will be waiting for you in the car"ordered Arnav and left from there even before she could respond.

Khushi looked at him puzzled and looked at others.

"Khushiji. What are you thinking ? Go. If you stay here, you will be late and chote will go"said Anjali.

Khushi faked a smile and went upstairs to bring her bag. She then went out of the house informing everyone. When she went out, Arnav is waiting for her in the car. she silently went and sat in the car. They both drove off to AR. Journey was a silent one. No one dared to initiate a conversation. Both of their minds are occupied by confusion, happy and unknown fear. But they don't know both are sailing in the same boat.

IN AR:

Khushi and Arnav entered AR. Both headed towards Arnav's cabin. Lavanya was shocked to see Khushi coming along with Arnav. Daily she used to come with NK.

Lavanya entered the cabin and greeted Arnav to which he din't respond. She just stood standing there.

"What do you want Ms. Lavanya ?"asked Arnav irritatingly.

"Sir. Mr. Mehra called and said he want to prepone the meeting due to his personal issues."said Lavanya.

"Ok. Fix the meeting by 12'o clock"said Arnav.

Lavanya nodded her head and went from there. While going she gave a dejected look at Khushi to which she ignored. This din't go unnoticed by Arnav.

"Both are Shashiji's daughters but there is a lot of difference between them in every way"thought Arnav.
