Part 17

In Sheetal's room:

Sheetal was busy with her earphones when Shyam barged in.

Seeing him she stood up.

"Did you do that ?"asked Shyam angrily. Sheetal nodded her head.

"Are you mad ? Why did you do such a foolish thing ?"asked Shyam.

"Bhai. I got afraid. What if ASR says about us to the family ? Also now what if he lives or not. "said Sheetal.

"Don't talk rubbish. What about this property ? How can we get this ?"said Shyam.

"Don't worry bhai. From the past two years you are looking for the will papers of ASR. You searched in all members rooms except Arnav thinking those papers won't be there. But yesterday when Arnav and Khushi went out, I went into that room and checked the locker. Property will is still in ASR's room only. According to it, the whole property goes to Anjali bhabhi if anything happens to ASR."said Sheetal.

"Really. I didn't even check once in Arnav's room thinking that papers won't be there due to his health condition. But still you should have been careful. What if NK or Akash would have caught you ?"asked Shyam.

"No bhai. They were in deep sleep. It took time for them to understand the situation. In that minute, I managed to escape."said Sheetal.

"Ok. Did you get any hurt ?"asked Shyam.

"No but what if ASR tells the family truth ?"asked Sheetal.

"He won't say anything ."said Shyam. Sheetal looked at him confusingly.

"Because now Anjali is pregnant. Do you think he would take any step which would effect his sister ? No.. So plz be relaxed."said Shyam.

"What are we going to do after bhabhi's delivery ?"asked Sheetal.

"I will plan something by then. Until then you try to move close to Arnav"said Shyam.

" What !!!!!!!!! then what about Khushi ?"asked Sheetal.

"Why do you concern for her ?"asked Shyam.

"It's not that. Do you think it will work out ? ASR doesn't like me. "asked Sheetal.

"Try your level best to make him fall in your trap before he comes to know about Khushi"said Shyam and went from there hearing Anjali's voice calling him.

Lunch was a silent one without many issues. Arnav's lunch is sent to his room. NK tried to talk with Arnav but Anjali didn't allowed him saying Arnav needs rest. After Lunch, Akash and NK went to hospital to collect cc camera footage.

In the evening, Arnav was coming downstairs when he saw Anjali coming from outside. He felt guilty for hiding about Shyam's truth with her. He doesn't know how she will react.

Anjali was walking when her saree got stucked in the carpet and was going to fall. Arnav got panicked and was coming but soft hand held Anjali firmly stopping her to fall. It was none other than Khushi.

Khushi was holding Anjali with one hand and a juice tray in other hand. Arnav relieved seeing it and stood there itself.

Khushi made Anjali sit on the sofa.

"Di. Are you okay ?"asked Khushi concerning.

"Ha Khushiji."said Anjali. She was a bit panicked.

"Thank you Khushiji. You saved me and my child "said Anjali.

"Where did you went Di ?"asked Khushi.

"Just outside to feel fresh air"said Anjali.

"Di. I am coming to your room only to give you this juice"said Khushi and handed over the juice glass.

"What juice !!NO Khushiji. I don't want to drink"said Anjali.

"No. I am not going to listen any of your words. You need to be strong Di. You have to think about rajkumari"said Khushi.

"Rajkumari. How did you know that it is rajkumari only ?"asked Anjali smiling.

"I know. My sixth sense says me"said Khushi.

Anjali smiled and said" So what other things did your sixth sense say ?"

"Many things but not now. First you complete your juice"said Khushi.

"Khushiji plz."said Anjali.

"No. I am not going to listen anything. You have to complete this. It's my order"said Khushi.

"Ok ma'm"said Anjali and drank the juice.

"That's my good girl"said Khushi " I am going into kitchen to prepare dinner"

"Ok. Let me accompany you"said Anjali.

"No Di. You just go and take rest. I will prepare dinner'said Khushi.

'This is not fair Khushiji. These days you are not allowing me to do any work. I do fear I may get fat"said Anjali.

"Nothing of that sort happens Di. Even if you get fat, don't worry I will make you slim again by making you exercise"said Khushi and went into kitchen.

Anjali smiled looking at the vanishing figure of Khushi. Also feeling sad for her.

Don't know how she keeps managing with her smile in this situation too. Selfless girl thought Anjali.

And Arnav who was witnessing the whole scene was impressed by Khushi taking care of his sister. A smile appeared on his lips seeing her ordering Anjali to drink juice.

In the night, Akash and NK came into Arnav's room.

"What happened ? Did you both brought those cctv camera footage ?"asked Arnav curiously.

Both of them lowered their heads.

"What happened ?"said Arnav.

"Bhai. Woo the doctor said that it is case of murder attempt so he said he can't give it easily. So he said we need to inform police about it."said Akash.

"Then why did he say to come and take footage"said Arnav irritatingly.

"Ha bhai. I too asked him the same he said that he forgot"said Akash.

"What to do bhai now ? Shall we give police complaint."asked Akash.

"NO. I will talk with commissioner about this "said Arnav.

Akash went from there after informing this. NK was still standing there.

"Do you want to say something to me ?"asked Arnav.

"NO. I want to show you something "said NK and closed the door. Arnav looked at him confusingly.

NK came near him and gave him the bracelet.

"What is this ?"asked Arnav.

" Yesterday when I was chasing the person , it fell from her hands"said NK.

"It means a girl attacked me "said Arnav examining the bracelet. It had 'S' written on it.

"Yes. It was Sheetal"said NK.

"How can you say confidently it was Sheetal ?"asked Arnav.

"Because Khushiji told me "said NK.

"What!!! Khushi"said Arnav shocking.

"Ha Nannav. Khushiji saw this bracelet yesterday in Sheetal's hands"said NK.

"Khushi. Did she know about that Shyam and Sheetal ?"asked Arnav.

"She knows everything about Shyam and Sheetal."said NK.

"But how ? What if she says to Di ?"asked Arnav.

" If Khushiji wants to say Di, then she would have said to Di the day she found about Shyam"said NK. Arnav looked at him confusingly.

"Yes Nannav. When you are not well, Shyam used to give you medicines daily. After Khushiji came into this house, she found that Shyam is not giving you right tablets . He would be giving only your diabetes tablets. She said to me about it. As I already know about him , I said to her. From then she used to give your medicines by mixing in your food unknown to everyone in this house.. Do you know you both were good friends ? She also used to spend more time with you to escape from Shyam. "said NK

Arnav looked at him puzzled.

"Yes Nannav. That Shyam has a bad intention about Khushiji. So she will always be with you or with me to escape from him. She is a very nice girl"said NK.

Arnav was now shocked to hear this. These much things gone in his absence. Thinking about Shyam, his anger raised to peak, he feel to kill him with his bare hands.

But thinking about Khushi, a respect grew in his heart for her. She did soo much to save him.
