Part 16

They reached the house. when they are going to enter, Anjali came shouting not to enter. They stood there.

All the members came there. Khushi brought Aarti thaal and gave to Anjali.

"Di. plz I don't believe all this "said Arnav irritatingly

"Just wait chote. I am not going to listen"said Anjali. Knowing his Di won't listen Arnav stood still.

After aarti completed, Arnav entered the hall. He is trying hard not to show Anjali the wound but failed.

"Di. I will go to my room"said Arnav and was going but Anjlai stopped" Chote!!"

Arnav turned cursing his fate. Anjali immediately rushed to him and took his hand" Your hand. What happened ? This wound is not there yesterday. Then how did you got hurt."

"Di. Nothing. It just happened. I am fine. It's a small wound"said Arnav making Anjali sit on the sofa.

"Why didn't you both tell us ?"asked Nani looking at Akash and NK.

"Because I said so. Nani. I am fine. You don't worry"said Arnav.

Then the phone rang. Anjali who is sitting near the phone lifted. The other person talked to her and she dropped the phone shaking.

"Di. What happened ? Who was there on the phone ?"asked Arnav panickingly. All rushed towards her. Khushi brought water for her and handed over to Arnav.

"Chote. Why did you lie to me ?"asked Anjali.

"Di.."Arnav looked at her confused.

"Someone tried to kill you yesterday night at hospital"asked Anjali with tears. Arnav and the others looked at her shocked.

"Di. But how did you know ?"asked Arnav.

"Is it true or not ?'asked Anjali. Arnav nodded his head and said" Di. I am fine. You don't worry. I will handle the matter"

Anjali hugged him and cried.

"But Anjali bitiya. Who is on the phone ?" asked Nani.

"Nani. Woo doctor called. He said that they have made ready the cc camera clipping of Chote's attack so that we can found the culprit."said Anjali.

"But who is it Chote ?"asked Anjali.

"I don't know di. "said Arnav.

"You two"asked Anjali looking at Akash and NK.

"No DI. we din't see the person. Before we catch him, he escaped from our hands"said Akash.

Anjali thought for a while and said"Chote. We must complaint to the police"

Shaym who was present was shocked and said" NO"

Anjali looked at him shocked while Khushi and Arnav with suspicion.

"I mean RS if we complaint to police, then the person will get alert"said Shyam.

"You are also saying correct Shyamji"said Anjali.

"But who would have tried to kill Arnavji ?"asked Khushi.

"May be any rivalry of Arnav would have done this "said Shyam.

"But jijaji Arnavji gained his memory yesterday only, then how come any business rivalry comes to know about Arnavji's state that soon"said Khushi.

"Ha Khushiji is also saying correct. Then who must have been it"said Anjali.

"Only two chances are there. Either anyone would have informed that soo called rivalry or it would be the work of anyone in this house"said Khushi. Arnav looked at her puzzled.

"Very intelligent"thought Arnav.

"But who would do this "asked anjlai.

Sensing that the matter is taking the other turn Arnav said"Stop this nonsense. Di you don't worry. I will handle this matter"

"Ok. Chote you go and take rest"said anjlai.

While Arnav was going upstairs, Sheetal entered into home.

Seeing her mami asked"HHBB. Sheetal where were you last night ? You din't came to home and now coming"

Khushi gave a suspicious look at her which didn't go unnoticed by Arnav.

Sheetal at first startled and composed herself said "Woo nothing auntyji. I was in my friend's house"

She faked a smile to all of them and asked"ASR. How are you feeling ?"

Arnav just nodded his head and went upstairs.

After Arnav went upstairs, others too followed him except Khushi who went into kitchen.

"Chote. I will bring juice for you"said Anjali.

"Di. Why did you strain yourself ?"asked Arnav.

"Di. I will bring it"said Payal and was going but Khushi came with juice tray. All smiled to her seeing this while Arnav with a confused expression why she is caring about him soo much.

"Di. I bring juice for Arnavji."said Khushi and gave to Anjali.

"Thank you Khushiji"said Anjali and gave to Arnav.

"Ok. Chote. You take rest"said Anjali and moved out from there. Khushi was the last one to move, she turned and saw Arnav.

Khushi smiled to Arnav while Arnav gave a confused look to her.

After she went, Arnav's thought about his attack. He is sure that it would be Shyam or any of his appointed goons. But that Sheetal she was also not there in the house by mamiji's words. he have to find out soon and also should expose that creep soon infront of his family but he can't do it now as Anjali is pregnant. He knew his Di will believe him if he shows proofs, but he doesn't know how it will affect his Di and her babies health and future.

His thoughts suddenly drifted to Khushi. Did she knows about that Shyam and Sheetal ? by the way she saw Sheetal today , it tells as if she knows everything . but why is she concerning more about him. she is just a guest. but he can see more concern on him in her eyes. Why ?

He was soo confused of these thoughts and drifted to sleep.

IN NK's room:

NK was in his work when Khushi came there.

"NK ji. What happened exactly yesterday night ?"Asked Khushi.

NK explained her whatever happened in the hospital.

"I tried to catch but couldn't catch her"said NK.

"Her!!! You mean a girl attacked Arnavji"asked Khushi surprisingly."But how do you know that ?"

"Like this "said NK and removed a thing from his pocket.

It was a bracelet of a girl written S on it. Khushi took it and examined it.

NK said "When I chased the person who tried to kill Arnav yesterday, I almost caught but she pushed me away and ran. Then accidentally this bracelet got into my hand. By seeing this I am sure it must be a girl's. Now what I think this bracelet must be "

"Sheetal's "said Khushi. NK looked at her curiously.

"Ha NKji. I have seen this bracelet in Sheetal's hand yesterday morning. I already got a doubt when mamiji said she was not there in the house yesterday"said Khushi.

"Yes Khushiji. I too have same doubt but now cleared."said NK

"Why didn't you show it to Arnavji ?"asked Khushi.

" I thought Khushiji but Akash was there so I couldn't. I will show him"said NK.

Khushi heard Nani voice calling her and went downstairs.
