Hello!

I'm very excited to share with you all how I actually got my start on wattpad and what this journey has meant for me.

Let's begin!

How I found wattpad:

Well, to bring this hard situation up, but I think it's what made my journey here from others truly different.

Two years before I signed for wattpad, I tragically lost my older brother (first born) to a heart condition he had had since birth. My oldest sibling was 18 YOA. He had surgery that year in July after graduation in May. One month later, he died in the hospital. I was 12 at the time, and my other brother was 15. It was very difficult to come to terms of his death, as I never lost someone before that I grew up with.

For two years I struggled with his death. Then one day, while I was using my dad's phone, even though I had my own, but used my internet up already. I came across an add for wattpad. At first I didn't really think much of it, I signed up and made the age requirement.

I started wattpad on June 21st, 2014.

What this last 10 years means for me:

I know everyone's experience is different. That is okay, I got to chat with some amazing people, I talk to some personally in a different website.

where_the_fun_begins -This amazing human introduced me to role playing. I never thought I'd love doing it, and be part of a friendship with her years later when the groups we role played in together are no longer active. I thank myself, but more importantly thankful for her being there in my lows and highs. ❤️

KylaLBarton - Kyla I appreciate how for being able to handle our crazy role playing on our favorite show. It's amazing you are able to keep up with my crazy ideas or what is put down lol. Our friendship is strong thank you for sticking in there for me. ❤️

Leobaddie2022 - My sweet friend, I'm happy we came into each other lives. Our video calls were awesome, as we didn't let age difference between us get in a way of true friendship. You are one true fighter, listening to how you stand up for your friends and family if they are being bullies shows that you don't need others permission to live your life. Your parents, especially your mom is smiling down at you, memories is what keeps a love one alive even when gone.

Charmed_nebula - Another beautiful soul and great friend. We have lost some touch the last few years, but I know we can catch up like we never lost touch.

There has been more people, could add, these are just the few I still talk with more recently or just ongoing.

How I am doing in 2024:

June of this year (2024), I am celebrating my 10 anniversary on wattpad. I can't explain what these last 10 years have in mean to me, I will say that, I have found myself and know what I want to write.
