She kept asking me: "What is life?"

Times and again I thought hard about it, gave her my answers, but she only responded with a secretive smile.  

Perplexed, I set a private tea table in our family book room with her as the sole guest. 

After the first round of ceremony, I hastily looking up at her and asked: "So what is life?"
