Back inside it was quite calm. Harry wasn't there. Voldemort wasn't there.. Just Hermione and Ron. The rest was in the great hall.
Ron and Hermione were trying to catch Nagini. You didn't know what to do now. You couldn't focus. Your mind was blocked.
You watched Hermione and Ron fighting the snake. It was quite terrifying. Nagini came close to them. You grabbed your wand. Before you could do anything, they both ran away from Nagini. Not a single spell was working.
You jumped aside and casted a spell at the snake who wasn't paying any attention to you. It just passed you and kept following them.
You tried everything you could to stop it. Nothing worked. Hermione and Ron couldn't move anywhere. They were about to get bitten.
Neville pushed you aside. He was still holding the sword of Gryffindor. He chopped the head of the snake right off. Hermione and Ron looked up.
'Neville..' Ron said.
'Thank you.' Hermione said.
She got up and hugged him. Neville hugged her back. Hermione then looked at Ron. She hugged him and held him tightly.
You and Neville watched them. Hermione then kissed Ron, who immediately kissed her back. You smiled right away. You knew this would happen. You were incredibly happy for them. Hermione pulled back and looked back at you. You smirked at her.
'Don't even say anything.' She laughed while walking over to you.
'I told you it was going to be okay. You two are made for each other.' You smiled.
Hermione could still see pain in your eyes. She had no idea what happened. She just hugged you. You hugged her back.
'Is everything okay?' She asked.
'Yeah.. Draco is missing.. But I really am happy for you.'
'Draco is missing?' Hermione asked while letting you go.
'Are you sure he didn't just leave?' Ron asked.
'Ronald.' Hermione hissed while looking back at him.
She looked back at you.
'I'm sure it's okay. He can't be dead. We would have found his body.'
You weren't sure if that helped. You just smiled, thankfully. Hermione smiled and Ron walked over to her. He grabbed her hand and Hermione grabbed yours too.
You all walked outside. Harry was standing there. Voldemort wasn't there. Harry looked at you all. He ran over to you all and group hugged you.
'Did you do it?' Hermione asked.
'It's over. He's gone.'
You couldn't believe this. Harry actually murder Voldemort. He did it. He saved the wizarding world. It was all over. It was all okay. You no longer had to be afraid.
You all let each other go. You looked at Hogwarts. It was all destroyed. It was a total mess with hundreds of people killed. People you cared about.. Fred, Tonks, Remus, your parents.. You literally almost lost everything in this war.
That realisation made you feel lucky to still have some people left but also made you feel even more sad. It was a strange mix.
'You guys are amazing. I'm so proud of you all.' You smiled.
Harry hugged you. You hugged him back.
'Thank you.' You said. 'Thank you for ending this. Thank you for everything.'
'I know I haven't always been the most supporting friend.. But I do really want you to be happy Y/N.'
'I know. I know.. I want you to be too. It's all over. Focus on what's important. Get an incredible job.. even marry Ginny.'
'I think they're I'm a little too young for that to eve-'
'Ronald.' Hermione sighed.
'I'll do that. No more voldemort threats.'
'No more fighting. It's over Harry. You can finally rest and build a life.'
Harry let you go. He hugged Ron and Hermione too. You took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. For the first time in a long time you felt safe.. for the first time in a long time you felt free. It felt good.. It felt great.
You smiled. You did it. You did it for your parents. You fought for them. You did it for them. You did what you promised them. You stayed strong for them.
You swallowed before looking back at the group. This all was very emotionally confusing. You couldn't even express anything. You couldn't smile anymore but you also couldn't cry or pout. Nothing.

You looked around you. You went home straight away. You saw your house in front of you. You hadn't been there in ages. It all looked the same.
You opened the door and stepped inside. The warmth of your house immediately greated you. It smelled the same.. It just felt more lonely.
You closed the door behind you. You leaned against it and took the time to just take it all in. To look at every picture, to look at very crack in the wall that you made as a child, to look at every piece if furniture you could see, to look at every door, every little thing you could find suddenly had so much more value to you.
You wished so many things. You wished your parents would there, you wished they could have gotten the time to get to know Draco as you knew it, you wished that you could go back to the time your parents were still there, to the time that you knew where Draco was.
You then slowly walked through the hallway. You let your hand flow past the wall while you walked away. You walked up the stairs towards your room. The doors of your closet were still open. You closed them while you remembered the night when you were captured. The bumpy road you had with Draco. The way you ended up.. was amazing.
You saw your owl sitting in front of your window. Before you got captured you let her fly out to deliver a letter. She managed to keep herself alive. You smiled and opened the window. She flew inside and sat down on your shoulder. You pet her.
'I'm sorry it took me so long.' You smiled.
Your owl flew around your room and then into her cage. You wanted to try to write a letter to Draco. Would he anwnser? Would he be home?
At this point, you were willing to try anything.. anything to get him back..
