A month passed and everything was going on fine, the paparazzi cooled off on Steve and Lana, they went on dates and spent a weekend out of town, Lana was living the dream. Natalia on the other hand is frustrated and bitter because she doesn't know what to do to undermine Lana, she seems to be out of ideas but there's one she hasn't tried. She hasn't tried to pay Lana a visit in her house and maybe this could be the breakthrough she has been waiting for so patiently, so she set to action immediately and dialed Lana's number

Natalia: Hi... how are you doing

Natalia: I'm fine, just bored, I was wondering if I could come pay you a visit

Natalia: Great! Your address please?

Lana: Yeah.......It's 2311 Wall Street Avenue L.A

Natalia: I'll be there in 15 minutes

Lana: Cool.... I'll be expecting you

Natalia pulled up in Lana's driveway exactly 20 minutes after she got off the phone with her, she was at the door for awhile, rang the doorbell, knocked but no answer, she called Lana's phone but her number was engaged and just when she was about turning back, Lana opened the door and apologized for taking so much time...... "Oh I'm so sorry if I kept you waiting, I was busy on the phone" Lana said..... "It's fine" Natalia replied. Lana offered her a seat and they got talking.

Lana: So........what goes on?

Natalia: Nothing much, you know the usual stuff, work and all

Lana: Yeah..... I have question for you though, it's about Steve

Natalia: Shoot!

Lana: Well.... You know Steve better than anyone and I've been thinking, what we're his exes like?

Natalia: Uhmm, Steve is a reserved guy, I've been the only woman in his life until you came along

Lana: Really?

Natalia: Yeah, why do you ask?

Lana: Well..... few minutes ago, he called and said he wants to introduce me to his parents in London, we leave a day after tomorrow, I'm so thrilled and things are happening so fast and I'm a bit nervous and scared that I might screw this up and more importantly, I want to know him a little bit more before going this deep, I don't think I'm ready for this, what do you think Natalia?!

Natalia: Hmmm, I think you're right, you should think about this first, it's a big step in your relationship with him, you've only been together for a few months, maybe things are going too fast but it's still has to be your decision

Lana: Yes but he's the most charming man in the world and I love him so much and the last thing I want is for him to hate me

Natalia: Hate you?! Why would he hate you, is there something you're not telling me?

Lana: Oh no no, you're getting it wrong, I meant to say it the other way round, enough of that, I need your help with something in my closet if you don't mind, I want to start packing for our trip next tomorrow.

Natalia: Oh...... sure! I thought you changed your mind and want to take things slow

Lana: Yeah but I don't want to hurt his feelings, he's probably looking forward to this

Natalia: Oh....well.... uhmmm his parents are refined people and Steve is their only child, I'm sure this is more of a screening test than a mere visit believe me

Lana: Wow, are you serious? Do you think they'll like me?

Natalia: Uhmm..... sure you're cute and smart and you have a great career but you know how some parents can be, especially his mom, she probably has someone else she wants him to marry, you know?

Lana: What?!! I don't think so Natalia, this is just a visit, it's not like we're engaged or something at least not yet and Steve is not a child, he can make his own decisions, he doesn't need his mum to do that *folding clothes angrily*

Natalia: Yeah sure, I'm just telling you what to expect, it might not happen but there's a possibility

Lana: *exhales In dissatisfaction* You're probably right but I'm not gonna chicken out, I will meet them and they will like me, I'll put on my best behavior *smiling* I know that will make Steve happy and that's all that matters to me.

Lana finished packing her bags and Natalia suggested she might need some jewelry to take along with her and Lana thought that was a great idea, pointed to where her jewelry box was while she was putting some things in order In her wardrobe, Natalia dug through her jewelry box and found a bracelet exactly like the one Steve wears and she asks........ "Wow, I cant believe Steve gave you this bracelet of his, wait the engravings are-" Lana turned and saw Natalia holding a bracelet that reminded her of a terrible incident in her past and she ran towards her and snatched it from her, interrupting her comment about the bracelet and frowned at her..... "Who told you to touch it?! Maybe you should leave" Lana said angrily..... "Whoa! H-h-hold on I-I-I didn't mean to upset you, I'm sorry" Natalia stammered...... "Just leave!" Lana exclaimed and Natalia grabbed her purse and car keys and left and immediately she walked out the door, Lana brushed her back against the door and started crying unknown to her that Natalia was on the other side of the door listening.
