Steve: It's okay Lana you don't have t-

Lana: I'm in love you with you too........I've been so scared of falling for anyone but it doesn't feel that way with you, I think of you more often than I should and that's strange because I never thought I will feel like this for anyone ever again but here I am, the walls I built so high are gradually crumbling and it's all because of you, it's a bit scary but it feels right.

They said those words to eachother holding hands and looking directly at one another, Steve places his palm on her cheek and for the first time they shared a kiss. Lana's cheek never looked rosier, all of her doubts suddenly disappeared somehow, she was indeed in love with Steve.
It was dark already and getting chilly, they had to leave even if they were having the night of their lives talking about their feelings and past experiences, they were officially a couple. Lana's head was leaned on Steve's shoulder while staring at the pitch black lake...... "It's getting dark, I think we should head back home......" Lana said.......... "You're right.......tonight doesn't have to end here though, that's if you don't want it to" Steve added.... "Hmm, what are you implying Steve?"..... Steve chuckled and then said with a hushed tone "Spend the night with me Lana........"  he said with his lips behind her ear....... "I'll love to......" she agrees
They're on their way back home in Steve's car, Lana sat and got lost in her thoughts again, she replayed the entire evening in head and found herself smiling, Steve turns to her and slightly laughed and said " What are you smirking for? Did I do something funny?", Lana replied " Oh! No Steve I was just thinking about something". Lana's phone rings and it's Diane calling

Lana: Hello Dee Dee

Diane: What's up with you, how are things going over there? I hope I'm not interrupting anything, just wanted to check on ya

Lana: Uhmmm not really, I'm not gonna be home tonight though

Diane: Whoo hoo! Go girl, I'm gonna hang up now, you'll tell me all about it tomorrow

Lana: *laughs* Ok Dee Dee, Talk to you later

Diane: Ok byeeeeee

They've finally gotten to their destination and Lana was astonished by what he presented as "His humble abode" . He lived in a huge mansion and the view from the top is breathtaking, his house had a pool and a golf course. Lana makes a comment about his house after the tour and finally settled at the rooftop "Your house is awesome ! Do you live alone?" ......... "Oh well, the butler and cook stay at the employee's quarters behind the main building but they go home on weekends or when I'm not in the country but the maids are here 24/7 and yeah sometimes Natalia comes around, my personal assistant, remember her?" ................. " Of course I do remember her, we worked on the fundraiser account together, she's cool...... what does she come around for exactly?" Lana asked curiously....... "Hmmmmm, someone sounds jealous *wiggles eyebrows*" he said jokingly as he puts his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him...... "Oh.... Come on Steve, jealous?? You wish" she commented while rolling her eyes amusingly, they both laughed and then Steve adds...... " Ok jokes apart, Natalia and I have a strictly professional relationship, she comes around when there is an emergency or when she has to catch me up on one or two things at the office, I don't show up around there much, she handles everything in my absence and reports back to me, sometimes we work late hours so it might be too late for her to go home, so she sleeps in the guest room, I promise you there is nothing between Natalia and I, you have nothing to worry about". Steve had a stern face so Lana was convinced by what he said and she was totally fine with it. It's past midnight and Lana started yawning, Steve suggests it's time for her to hit the sheets, he took her to his bedroom, he had a king size bed and the night lights were so seductive, he excused her to shower and settle while he headed downstairs to prepare warm milk for Lana and himself. Lana took a min to snoop around around a little, checked if he had condoms in his drawers to know if this is some kind of set up to get into her pants but she didn't find any just some complimentary cards and a bracelet that looked like one she had sometime in the past, brought back horrid memories and suddenly she doesn't want to spend the night at his house anymore.
