Jack POV

We could hear the echo of the alarm off of the metal walls of our cell. I glanced at Hiccup nervously. We both jumped to our feet trying to figure out what we were supposed to do. 

"Jack? Hiccup?" Punzie's voice called out to us through the wall. 

"Are you guys okay?" I yelled back.

"We're good. You?" 

"Yeah! What's going on?" 

"We don't know!" I could hear loud banging on their door and I knew Merida was trying to break it down.

"Mer it's not going to work, you're just going to hurt yourself!" Hiccup shouted. Another loud bang could be heard but I could tell it wasn't from the cell next door. My heart started racing and I could tell that Hiccup felt the same way. Then we heard a voice.

"Jack? Are you in here?" At the sound of Elsa's voice, I immediately softened. 

"Elsa?" I called out and in seconds the door swung open. She launched herself into my arms and I caught her, stumbling back in surprise. 

"God I've missed you." Her lips were on mine before I could react. Even though I told Punzie that I was getting over her I couldn't help but kiss back. Our lips moulded together perfectly as they moved in sync. 

"What are you doing?" I breathed out as she rested her forehead on mine.

"Getting you out of here. I know you aren't the mole but my Aunt doesn't believe me. If I don't get you out she may leave you in here for good...or worse." It felt surreal to be having a moment with her. 

"You came to save me." 

"Of course I did." She smiled as she cupped my cheek. "Now come on, we don't have much time." She unlocked Punzie and Merida's cell before leading us out. She managed to sneak through the guards that were patrolling due to the lockdown. 

"Something's wrong," Rapunzel mumbled, trying to keep her voice low. "Why didn't she bring the others?" She had a point. Our friends would stop at nothing to save us if they knew we were in trouble. I looked at Elsa and finally noticed something I should have seen before. Her eyes were a dark blue colour, almost like mine. 

"In here." We followed her into a room and she closed and locked the door behind us. Inside, Megara was with Hercules and a few people we didn't know. I exchanged a worried glance with the others who also didn't know what was going on. 

"Come here my little pet." As if possessed by something, Elsa stepped forward walking to the other side of the room. It was a man who looked vaguely familiar. 

"Meg? What are you doing here?" Rapunzel asked, ignoring the fact that Elsa had just waltzed over to what I could only assume was the enemy. 

"You're pathetic. You find out one of your best friends has been working against you and you only care about your precious Flynn." Meg laughed and Merida was ready to pounce on her. 

"Els?" I asked softly, pure shock washing over me. She remained silent, an almost vacant look in her eyes. 

"It seems it's time for the next stage of our plan. You will be coming with us." A jet could be heard outside and I backed away from the window, running into Hiccup in the process. 

"We aren't going anywhere with you." Merida spat. 

"You don't have a choice." Six guns were pointed at us in a second. My heart sank as I spotted Elsa's pointed right at me. None of this made sense. Why had she kissed me? Why had she turned her back on her agency, her friends, her family? I stepped forward, daring her to shoot me. I stared into her eyes searching for anything familiar. 

"Elsa, please. Don't do this." She said nothing as she pulled the trigger, aiming a bullet into my leg. 

"JACK!" Punzie called out as I crashed to the ground. 

"That's enough." The man from before said as Elsa aimed her gun at Rapunzel. "Go!" Elsa dropped her weapon and left the room without a word. 

"Shall we?"
