Have you ever felt like you are worthless and valueless inspite of possessing a luxurious and rich lifestyle ? Have you ever felt that you are somewhat a second hand property of somebody who only owns you but never seems to take proper care of you ? Have you ever felt that you are totally unworthy to live in this heterogeneous world ? Have you ever felt that you are living like somebody else despite of living with these ordinary human beings? Have you ever felt homeless inspite of having mansion like fairytales ? Have you ever felt like you have nothing after having everything?

That's it. That's how my so-called beautiful life is. Many people and friends tend to be jealous in terms of the fact that I have everything which they don't have. Sadly, the truth is not same. I am the princess of Rose Valley. The cities of Rose Valley are small but greatly prominent as one of the happiest and the most privileged places all over the World. Our kingdom is just self-sufficient with the dwelling of peace, prosperity and unity. No living being of here seems to have any kind of complaints or troubles for any thing as they are contented and happy.

Unfortunately, I can't be that happy soul like them after having all of the sources of comfort. I am habituated of being treated to be the second pick of my parents on any matter. They are the parents of my namesake but they couldn't be able to be "my" parents in real. Parents are said to be the divine boon for their unparallel affection, care and selfless sacrifices. In case of my situation, this doesn't work. From my childhood, I am used to seeing my parents only busy in making us perfect and best in every fields according to their wishes which Ashi has been able to do and I couldn't be same. Yeah,I have a biological older sister who is Ashi Khatri and she is the one for whom everyone means to love and care. She is the definition of perfection. She is beauty with brain. She knows so many things and knows to carry herself as a princess with proper style and attitude. She is kind also unlike my parents.I won't say that we have the best of relationships as sisters like others but one thing is permanent for sure that we like each other and have occasional conversations with each other ,not too deep secrets but we exchange some words regarding our livings, kingdom, hobbies and our taste of music etc.

"Good Morning, Princess Mallika. " Rehana politely greets me when I come out of the bathtub wrapping a white cotton piece of fabric around my body. I go out of the bathroom followed by Rehana and Rai both. I sit on the comfy chair which is kept infront of the dressing table and Rai starts to dry my hair first.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you don't need to call me PRINCESS? You are like a friend of me." I reply when Rai, my maid helps me to dry my bare legs.

"Sorry Princess Mallika, Queen has ordered us to call you by PRINCESS. She will be pissed off if she could come to know that". She says like an mute animal in her feeble voice.

"It's OK, Rehana. You don't have to follow those stupid rules around me. But if you don't want to be punished then you can call me PRINCESS only around the royal people but not around me. I request you." I pout giving her my pleading eyes. She just nods timidly in reply and passes a small smile.

"Rai, if you are done then I will do the makeup first." Rehana says boringly. Rai just nods before giving a bored expression towards me and leaves from there without saying anything making Rehana to let out a sigh.

"Mallika, I really don't understand why Queen has appointed such an useless worker like Rai. It's crystal clear that she doesn't like you and she is so jealous of you." She rolls her eyes and goes towards my closet.

Rehana is the only friend I do have. She basically stays with me all the time except the night as she has taken the morning shift only. She is appointed for looking after me. She takes care of my time to time scheduled meal, my bathing,dress-up and many more. She also accompanies me in my library and wherever I go ,I always tag her with me. We spend lot of times together. Rai is actually the main worker under Ashi. But sometimes, she also helps me with my bathing and dressing. To see her, it's clear that she probably doesn't like me as much as she seems to show interest in Ashi. May be it's that I am boring. That's why she doesn't like me. I don't blame her. Many people do the same and I am just used to it.

After a few minutes, Rehana comes back with a beautiful gown hanging on her hand. I narrow my eyes at her to see that the dress she has braught is so gorgeous and expensive.I prefer to put on such heavy dresses in any kind of royal fest and other grand celebrations only.

"Rehana, why have you braught such a heavy gown? I am just going to a library and what shall I do after wearing this dress ? It seems out of place." I ask eyeing up the dress properly.

"Queen has told me to get you ready in something expensive and pretty dress as I guess that your family is planning to go somewhere today. That's why I have braught it." She replies and hands me the gown dress. I reluctantly take the dress thinking about where we can go in this time. But why did they decide it so suddenly? What can possibly happen today ?

"Mallika, go and change now." I hum in response and we both go to our dressing room where she helps me with my dressing up.

"Mallika, you are looking very beautiful." She smiles keeping her both hands on my shoulder.

"Thank you." I smile in response and look at the reflection of my mirror. I have worn a white flower embroidery lacy gown with a transparent white coloured cloak. My neck is adorned with a delicate platinum necklace and I have a pair of small platinum earrings. I am really looking good today.

"Do you know where we are going today ?" I ask Rehana hoping her to know about that unknown place.

"Yeah, I have heard from those maids that King and Queen are going to Aurora City." I look at her through the mirror.

"Aurora City ?" I scrunch my nose as I am hearing the name for the first time.

"Yes, Aurora City. You know what the prince of there is very handsome. I have heard that he is very good from both inside and outside. " I just find this topic little more interesting and so I concentrate on this new known information. She continues,

"Yes, I don't know his name but I have seen him in photos. Mallika, you will be surprised to know that prince like him is handling their family buisness besides ruling the kingdom." I am really astonished to know about the new-found news. A prince is handling buisness also. This makes a satisfactory smile to grow on my lips.

"He seems really different and nice."I compliment him without any single thought and mentally plan to have a conversation with this person for sure. Rehana notices my expression and clears her throat.

"I know what you are thinking. For now, we have to go otherwise Queen is going burst like a bomb." She shrugs off her shoulder and we both make our way to our living room where we meet with my parents and Ashi.

Here is the first part of this story. I am now publishing it after coming back from school. Well, it was really hectic day. Leave it, I just want to say that I have already written some more parts of this story before publishing it. So I will continue to post regularly if u do like the story and give me proper votes.
