So I know that everyone just wants to start reading the book but I really want to establish a few things before we start.

First of all, like I said in the description, this is a sequal to Snake Tamer. Read that first, dang it!

Warnings are the same; Swearing, self deprecation and what not. If you found the last one fine, you'll find this one fine. The only thing I'd add is manipulation.?

I mentioned in one of the last authors note of the last book that I was sort of in a rough patch in my life. I have taken a few months to just collect myself and, I'll be honest, I'm still getting there. I'm doing better, thanks largely to the support of my family and you guys so thank you so much! My schedule won't be consistent but I shall try my best.

If this book doesn't get updated as often as I like, which is probably going to happen since from just writing the first three I know how much time goes into each one, I'll make a compromise. I'll create a book of random, unconnected Deceit x reader oneshots to hold you guys over and benefit me so I don't go crazy between updates.

Now onto actual book stuff! This book will operate a little differently from the last one. Biggest change I think is that you will not only be chained to your perspective. It will instead become third person for scenes that I believe are important for plot like Virgil and Deceit talk about how fucking weird Remus is.

More familiar characters that didn't appear in the last book will appear like maybe Remy or Emile (even though they aren't sides and never will be, I'll figure how to fit them in). Possibly even fandom sides like missy and pranks. I don't want to spoil it.

A bit of general etiquette stuff; Don't be rude, don't repost, don't harass me about another chapter or the story being different then what you wanted cause I don't care. Just be a good human please. I do this for fun, I don't want to deal with people being little shits.
