The Color of My Skin
Our skin is seen as weapon
Anguish and screams mixing in with the color
Ancestors history of pain and sorrow
Their battle never forgotten
We are why they fought so hard
Though never known their our biggest support
The hope that they gave their lives for
Give us the strength and pride to stand tall
Discriminations still plagues our brothers and sisters
But just like our history we will not let it cage us
Take admiration of our past to fuel the world where we can stand equal
They may see our skin as a weapon, but it's our greatest gift
