That night, Hariz hangout with Erina.

"Sorry we don't spend much time together", said Hariz.

"It's okay. It's not everyday you can meet your sister though. Besides, we need to focus in this tournament", said Erina.

"You're right. We're just half way done after all", said Hariz.

"By the way, you know that when we're return to Malaysia after this tournament is over, it will be our mid-semester break right? Are you going to stay here?" asked Erina.

"Well, I haven't decide it yet", said Hariz.

"I see. Just focus to win this regu event then", said Erina.

"Of course. I don't care how hard it is. I just want to defeat Thailand. That's all matters right now", said Hariz.

"That's good", said Erina. Hariz just smirked. Then, they return to their hotel.

"Where had you been?" asked Zuwe after Hariz returned to the hotel room.

"Just walking around", said Hariz.

"Let me guess, with Erina right?" asked Zuwe. Hariz smirked.

"Who else? It's been a while since we're going for a date", said Hariz.

"That's true. I think the last time you go for a date with her is before we came here to Incheon", said Zuwe.

"That's true. Maybe I shall invite her to stay with me and my family here in South Korea during our mid-term break", said Hariz.

"Well, not a bad idea", said Zuwe.

"But, that will be later. We have a tournament to win", said Hariz.

"That's true. Let focus in it for now", said Zuwe. Hariz just nodded.

Next morning;

All players arrived at the arena. Then, they gathered around the chef de mission.

"Okay, then. First of all, let me congratulate all of you for make it to the quarter-final. Now, for the boys, our regu will face Vietnam, doubles will face India while for quadrant, we will face Singapore. For the girls, we'll face France in regu, Brazil for doubles and Brunei for the quadrant", said Azlan.

"France and Brazil in quarter-final? Never thought a non-Asian can passed the group stage", said Zarep.

"Well, for regu, their players look like Asian. Besides, there's no Asian nation in their group", said Alice, the feeder for women's regu.

"And for Brazil, they really good though", said Nurul, the killer for women doubles.

"I see", said Hariz.

"Okay, now. Go and get ready. I hope all of you can make it to the final and bring the gold medals too", said Azlan.

"Thank you, sir", said all players.

Later on;

All players are ready inside the court for the quarter-final of men's regu. Malaysia will used Zuwe, Azim and Zarep while Vietnam will used Nguyen (Tekong), Dang (Feeder), and Linh (Killer). The match begins with Vietnam to serve. After getting a signal from Nguyen, Linh tossed the ball for Nguyen to hit it with a horse kick serve. The ball reaches Zarep that managed to lift the ball up with his foot before sets it high. Then, Azim jumped high and hits the ball with a role spike. Linh tried to block it. The ball hits his ribs before landed on Vietnam's side to give Malaysia the first point. For the 2nd serve, Nguyen hits the ball with a drop serve but Zarep managed to read it. Zarep lifts up the ball with his head before sets it high. Azim jumps and hits the ball with a role spike. The ball reaches Nguyen that managed to lift up the ball before Dang sets it. Then, Linh jumped high before hits the ball with a role spike. That moment, Azim also jumped and pushed the ball back to Vietnam's side. Dang tries to save it but failed as the ball bounced on his foot before went out of the play giving Malaysia the second point. Then for the 3rd serve, Nguyen hits the ball with a horse kick serve but the ball stucked at the net to give Malaysia the 3rd point.

"What a killer Malaysia have there", said Boonsak.

"Yes. That's why we had problem to defeat them in the team event", said Supachai.

"But at least now we know that if we had them in the final, it will be fun", said Tumulak.

"You're right about that", said Boonsak.

Then, it's Malaysia's turn to serve. After getting the signal from Zuwe, Azim tossed the ball for Zuwe to hit it with a horse kick serve. The ball reaches in between Nguyen and Linh. Both of them were hesitated to take the ball causing the ball to landed on their side before bounced out. For the 2nd serve, Zuwe served the ball with another horse kick serve. The ball hits the top of the net before went inside the Vietnam's side. All 3 players tried to save it but failed as the ball landed on the floor first giving Malaysia the 5th point. Then, for the 3rd serve, Zuwe hits the ball with another horse kick serve. The Vietnam's players just let the ball through as they thought it will be out but too bad the ball landed 5cm before the baseline to give Malaysia the 6th point.

"You know what, I never thought that they will be so dominate in this match", said Missile.

"I know. Even we had difficult time to defeat Vietnam in our final group stage  match", said General.

"They are just like Thailand. Put whoever players in the match and they still can win it. To be honest, I don't know who is the best players in Malaysia's regu right now", said Scissors.

"That's true", said Missile.

15 minutes later;

Malaysia is leading 19-5 and it's Malaysia turned to serve. After getting the signal from Zuwe, Hariz that just enters the match tossed the ball to Zuwe. Zuwe then hits the ball with a 72 km/h horse kick serve. Linh tries to lift up the ball but it's too fast for him as the ball landed on their side first before Linh's foot managed to reach it giving Malaysia a set point. Then, Malaysia swaps the position between Hariz and Zuwe which surprised even their teammates.

"What the hell are they doing?" asked Erina.

"They're crazy", said Azim.

"Damn, those two", said FH.

After gets a signal from Hariz, Zuwe tossed the ball to him. Hariz then served the ball with his own horse kick serve that had 69 km/h of speed. Dang tried to lift the ball up with his head but he accidentally heads the ball out giving Malaysia the win in the first set.

"They're tried to provoke Vietnam's players, huh", said Boonsak.

"Yes. Vietnam didn't plays like they usually played. I guess Malaysia's players pissed off by that", said Tumulak.

"Well, we can't blame Malaysia for that. Even we did the same if we're in their place", said Supachai.

"You boys are really nice by trying to make your opponents to play with their full potential", said Suebsak.

"Well, it can't be helped. Too many easy win is boring", said Tumulak.

"That's true. Especially when we had a high expectation to that match", said Boonsak.

"I'm glad all of you have that passion. We're really need it if we want sepak takraw to be part of Olympic games", said Pornchai.

20th minutes later;

It seems that provocation that was made in the first set changed the game tempo a bit in the 2nd set as that time, Malaysia is leading 17-16. It is Vietnam's service game. After getting the signal from Nguyen, Linh throws the ball to Nguyen. Nguyen then kicks the ball with a horse kick serve. The ball reaches Zuwe that quickly lifts the ball up with his foot. Then, Zarep sets the ball high before Hariz hits the ball with a 74km/h role spike that Linh failed to block it giving Malaysia the 18th point. Then, for the 2nd serve, Nguyen hits the ball with a drop service that managed to confused Malaysia's players a bit but Zarep then quickly runs toward the ball before lifts it up before sets it. Hariz then hits the ball with a hand stand spike to give Malaysia the 19th point. Then, for the 3rd serve, Nguyen's serve stucked at the net giving Malaysia the match point. Then, the service changed hand to Malaysia. Then, Vietnam asked for a time out.

"Okay, boys. I think Vietnam is panicked now since they asking for time out at the time like this. So, make sure you boys are relax for a while", said coach Luqman.

"Yes, coach", replied all players. Then, all players returned to the court. Suddenly, Malaysia making a surprise move by taking out Hariz and puts Azim back in the match.

"Coach, why?" asked Hariz.

"To prevent you and Zuwe to do another crazy thing like the end of the first set of course", said Taneekarn.

"Exactly", said coach Luqman.

"Damn", said Hariz.

Later, all players get back into their position. After getting signal from Zuwe, Azim tossed the ball towards Zuwe. Zuwe then hits the ball with a horse kick serve. Nguyen tried to lift up the ball with his foot but failed as he accidently kicks the ball out of the court giving Malaysia wins 21-16 and make it through to the semi-final match later after the lunch time.
