That day, Hariz went for a walk around Incheon. Then, he came across his sister.

"Nuna", said Hariz before hugs his sister.

"My only namdongsaeng. When did you arrive here?" asked Gyuri.

"Just now", said Hariz.

"I see. So, want to go and have a drink? I have 2 hours free time", said Gyuri.

"There's no way I say no for that", said Hariz.

"Let's go then", said Gyuri. Then, they make their way to the nearest coffee house.

"So, nuna. What's your current project?" asked Hariz while eating his cake.

"Just a few drama", said Gyuri.

"Ever thought about returning to sing?" asked Hariz.

"Sometimes. Why? Want to see me singing again?" asked Gyuri.

"Not quite. Just wondering", said Hariz.

"So, which team will you face in the first match of team regu event?" asked Gyuri.

"U.S.A", said Hariz.

"Think you can beat them?" asked Gyuri.

"Yes. But I can't let my guard down or it can kill the whole team", said Hariz.

"That's great. Good luck", said Gyuri.

"Kamshamnida. Will you come and watch sometimes?" asked Hariz.

"Of course. I'll bring appa with me too", said Gyuri.

"Bring Hyori too please", said Hariz.

"You miss our cousin, huh", said Gyuri.

"Well, sometimes. If we managed to reach final, can you get TWICE's Jeongyeon come and watch too? One of my friends is her fans", said Hariz.

"I can try. What about you? Don't you want any idol to come and watch you?" asked Gyuri.

"Kara of course", said Hariz.

"Yes, I almost forgot that you're Jiyoung's fan", said Gyuri. Hariz just chuckled. Later, they walk around for a while where Hariz came across some Thailand players that just walking around.

"Hey, Libas. You're good?" asked Boonsak after they bumping fist.

"Yes. Good to see you again", said Hariz.

"That's true. We'll be looking forward to face you and your team again", said Tumulak.

"We too. How's Tien?" asked Hariz.

"He's good as usual. He regretted for not further his study like we did", said Tumulak. Hariz laughed.

"I see. Send my regards to him later", said Hariz.

"Sure. So, how is my twin sister?" asked Boonsak.

"She's fine. She's one of our team manager now. She's great but too bad our university only has 2 girls player; she and our another team manager that I trained to be a killer too", said Hariz.

"I see. So, we can ask Taneekarn to spy on you then", said Tumulak before chuckled.

"Yes, right. By the way, this is my big sister, Park Gyu-ri", said Hariz.

"Park Gyu-ri of Kara? Damn, I was a fan too. How you're doing, nuna?" greeted Boonsak.

"I'm fine, thanks", replied Gyuri.

"We might be your fans but it won't stop us to defeat your brother and his nation", said Tumulak. Hariz chuckled.

"Yeah, right. Like I have no chance defeating you again", said Hariz.

"Sorry. We're forgot how good you are since your national team played bad at SEA Games", said Boonsak. Hariz sighed.

"Well, it can't be helped though. We have many great players in our league but the management chose many players that not even good enough", said Hariz.

"Chronisme, huh", said Tumulak.

"Yes. Even our chef de mission in this tournament, Azlan Mubin said so", said Hariz.

"Azlan Mubin, the killer that received a thumbs up from my father in 2006 Asian Games?" asked Boonsak.

"Yup. My first coach in sepak takraw", said Hariz.

"Hope the association in-charge of Malaysia sepak takraw do the right thing though. Our national team players get bored without a good rival", said Tumulak.

"Hope so", said Hariz.

"By the way, we need to go now. We'll see you in the tournament then", said Boonsak. Then, they shake hand before walked away.

"So, that's your rival, huh?" asked Gyuri.

"Yes. They're the one that my friends and I beat 2  years ago during U19 World tournament. That match is so great making some Malaysian even want us to play in 2018 Asian Games and SEA Games 2019", said Hariz.

"I see. Hope you meet Thailand in this tournament. Great rivals will make you a better player", said Gyuri.

"Hope so. I'll be looking forward to see how better they are than 2 years ago", said Hariz.

"Then, I'll make sure that I get my schedule clear if you play against Thailand", said Gyuri.

"Kamsahamnida, nuna", said Hariz before wrapped his arm around Gyuri's waist. Gyuri just smiled.

On the next day;

All Malaysian players arrived at the arena. Then, they gathered around for a while to hear some briefing from chef de mission.

"Okay, everybody. Today is the beginning of the group stage for team events for both men and women regu, doubles and quadrants. Now, let me tell you the match for today. For men's team regu, we'll be facing USA while for women, we'll be facing France. All match will take place in the morning. Then in the afternoon, men's team regu will face India while women team will face Iran. For the men's doubles team, we'll face Egypt while the women will face Qatar. So, that's all. It might seems easy, but don't get careless. Understand?" asked Azlan.

"Yes, sir", replied all players.

"Good. Now, I'll leaving the men and women coaches for team regu to discuss the formation with the players while the others that didn't have any match, you may go to the spectator's seat", said Azlan. Then, everybody moved.

"Okay, boys. For the first match. Here is our formation. Regu A will be Zarep, AZ and Acap. Regu B will be Zuwe, Azim, and Ike while Regu C will be Libas, RG and Danny. Engku, FH, Dam and Isa will be the subs. Don't let your guard down. Clear, boys?" asked coach Luqman.

"Yes, coach", replied all players.

"Good. Regu A can go to warm up first", said coach Luqman. Then, they dismissed.

Later;

It is time for the 1st match as Malaysia will face USA. For team regu event, 16 nations will take part in it and were divided into 4 groups with the top 2 of each groups will be through to the quarter-final. After being introduced to the spectators. Regu A taking place at the court.

"Hoh. They'll start with the national tournament's finalist, huh", said Tumulak from the spectator's seat.

"Yes. But, instead using Libas and FH, coach Luqman used AZ and Acap. He loved making surprise, huh", said Boonsak.

"Yeah, but those surprises were causing them a lost 2 years ago in team event semi-final against Indonesia", said Arif Supachai.

Meanwhile, the match inside the court begins. USA will served first. David's serve was easily accepted by Zarep that quickly sets the ball before Acap hits the ball with a sunback spike that USA players failed to block giving Malaysia the 1st point. Then, David served again and this time it reaches AZ that managed to pass the ball to Zarep. Zarep then sets the ball high enough for Acap to hit it with another sunback spike to give Malaysia the 2nd point. Then, David served again but this time, the ball went out from the court giving Malaysia the 3rd point. Then, it's Malaysia turn to serve. Acap tossed the ball perfectly for AZ to hit it with his horse kick serve that reaches in between of David and James, the USA feeder. There's a miscommunication between them causing Malaysia to get another point. For the second serve, AZ's horse kick serve causing the ball to landed in between of David's leg to give Malaysia the 5th point. Malaysia's final serve also gives another point for them as AZ's drop serve landed just near the net of USA's side. Malaysia wins the match with 21-4, 21-3 in just 38 minutes. Then, it's time for Regu B to be in action. Just like Regu A, Regu B had no problem to beat up their opponent, 21-5 and 21-3 in just 30 minutes. But Regu C is the best as they managed to win the match with a clean sheets in both sets in less than 20 minutes.

"No wonder coach Luqman mixed them up. USA team sucks", said Tumulak.

"That's true. But I'm sure they will use some great formation against India this afternoon", said Arif.

"Yes. It's an Asian team after all", said Boonsak.

Later, it's Malaysia women team in action as they will be facing France. Just like the men, the women managed to win it easily too with Regu A won with 21-3 and 21-2, Regu B won 21-4 and 21-5 while Regu C won with 21-2 and 21-1. Then, Hariz and his teammates are watching the match between Thailand and Japan.

"Thailand is so lucky, you know, get to face an Asian nation in the first round", said Zarep.

"Yes. But, hey. We'll facing India in the afternoon so, not a boring first day too for us", said FH.

"That's true. Believe me when I say this. The real fight begins at quarter-final", said Isa.

"Yes. We can expect to face either South Korea or Indonesia in the quarter-final and semi-final", said Zuwe.

"I think you boys had forgotten that we have Myanmar in our last match of the group stage", said Hariz.

"Oh, shit. You're right about it", said FH.

"So, which nation did you expect to be in quarter-final?" asked Erina.

"Well, from group A, I choose South Korea and Indonesia. Group B, us of course with Myanmar. Group D will be Thailand and Japan if you ask me", said Hariz.

"What about group C?" asked Erina.

"You can't decide it, huh", said Taneekarn.

"Can you?" asked Dam.

"Of course not. Group C is the toughest with Vietnam, Singapore and Philipines. And I don't think we can look down on Brazil though as they dragged Philipines in a 3 sets match just now for all 3 regus", said Taneekarn.

"That's true. But of course, that group match will be fun to watch", said Azim.

"Couldn't agree more", said Hariz.
