Tiana's insides trembled as she watched Nina walk ahead of her to grab the door, neither of them have spoke a word since Nina helped her get dressed, which even then were short words. All Tiana felt was rage and hurt, but she needed to attend this meeting because maybe she could play him just like they played her.

As Tiana walked through the Crow Club she was hit with the smell of drunks and gamblers, her hands clutched her purse as she stepped into the club more. "Follow me," Nina stated as she started to weave through the patrons, Tiana licked her lips as she followed Nina towards the back room, as they were getting closer to the end of the hall Tiana was starting to think that she should've told someone else she was coming, just in case something was to happen to Tiana but she knows that if she does that she would have to tell the truth and then she would never hear the end of it.

Her heart sped up as Nina reached for the doorknob after knocking, she turned it and there he was in all his glory. Kaz Brekker, next to him was a scary-looking woman who was twiddling a knife while next to the window was a man who was twirling a gun on his index finger, as Tiana steps into the room Nina shuts the door behind her, an action that makes Tiana's finger twitch as she tries to hide the surprise. It seems to work because Kaz's face doesn't change. "Please, sit." Kaz gestured his hand out towards the chair that was in front of him. Tiana thought about refusing but one glance at the woman next to Kaz had her sitting quickly. "Thank you for meeting me, Tiana Malinowski." Kaz clasped his hands and let them rest in his lap.

"Well I had to, you had someone working for me. Someone that I trusted." Tiana had to close her lips tightly so she wouldn't get too loud and it causes the woman next to Kaz to stab her. "Right, so the plan worked. It was shocking when Nina had come to me and said she needed to quit because she was falling for you but I told her to push threw, and it almost worked." Kaz's gloved hand tightened around his cane. "Nina told me you wanted access to my finances, why?"

Kazs' eyes flickered behind Tiana to Nina who took a sharp breath. "Because we need money, of course, you wouldn't miss it if a little money went missing. That's why we knew you were perfect, and we figured you would be distracted by your Dad's passing and we were right." Tiana shook her head, she can understand how they got away with it. "Well, you want money right?" Tiana licked her lips and suddenly sat back looking at Kaz who raised one brow slightly before nodding.

"Would you like to make a deal? One that would benefit both of us?" Tiana asked with a quirk of her lips, that grabbed his attention. He leaned forward placing his clasped hands on the desk letting the cane rest next to him. "What is your idea?" Kaz presses his lips together as he looks at Tiana, probably trying to figure out if she was lying, and surprisingly, she wasn't.

"Now, I can say whatever you want and tip the authorities off about this place, I'm not going to do that. Instead, I would like business advice as payment for me financing your little excursions, as much as it pains me to admit. My Uncle Lief has that part under control but I want to have access to it all, if you help me do that, I will keep everything you do here a secret." Tiana bargained, out of the corner of her eye she could see that man with the gun give a slight smirk but it quickly dropped from his face when the woman beside Kaz glared at him.

Kaz folded his hands together and placed two fingers towards his chin as he thought about the offer. "Deal." He held his hand out and Tiana took it firmly to shake. "You have to keep Nina on as your assistant, if you didn't then I wouldn't know you're holding up your end, and also wouldn't it be suspicious if you fired her to people around you." Kaz didn't let go as he was talking, he just an raised eyebrow and waited for Tiana to do something, wanting her hand back she quickly nodded.

Tiana blew out a slow breath before she looked down at her hands which were pillowed in her lap. "I should be getting home, people will be wondering where I am." Tiana glanced towards the clock that was on the wall quickly before meeting Kaz's eyes again. "I'll tell Nina if I need anything from you, Nina can we have a moment alone?" Kaz's eyes flicker toward Nina who looked surprised but nodded.

Tiana pursed her lips together as she clutched her bag closer to her body before standing up, she nodded toward the crew and turned to walk out the door. "Thank you." She murmured to the man who had the gun as he opened the door. He didn't respond but he tipped his hat to her, Tiana licked her lips as her back was against the closed door. She looked around at the Crow Club and made her way toward the bar, she needs a drink to get through the rest of this day.
