2006...
The two girls were dressed a lot more casual than before, preparing to meet the boys in their hotel room. Tashi couldn't believe that she was doing this but since Margo had insisted, she figured they might as well have some fun out of it. And maybe Tashi wanted to figure out just how much Margo liked Art.
So the two girls end up sharing a look before Tashi knocks on the door, waiting for a response. For a little while, there was none and Tashi and Margo both decided to eavesdrop. They could hear commotion from the inside and Margo resisted the urge to laugh. It was entertaining to see the guys tripping over themselves to just impress her and Tashi. But soon enough, they opened the door and both Tashi and Margo straightened up their postures to act like they hadn't been listening in.
"Hi!" Art greets them.
"Hey!" Patrick says at the same time.
Margo smiles, turning to look at Tashi. "Told ya this would be entertaining."
Tashi just rolls her eyes but there was a hint of amusement there.
After they were let in, they'd all be sitting on the floor and talking. Margo had her legs spread out, draping them across Art's lap. He had offered and Margo accepted, needing somewhere to rest them. Tashi had chosen to hug her knees close to her chest as she steered the conversation (as usual).
"Did you guys go to, like, Mommy and Me classes together?" Tashi questioned, making the two boys laugh. "What? You just seem like brothers."
"Well, that's what the Mark Rebellato Tennis Academy will do for you," Art smiles, sharing a look with Patrick who had just finished with his beer.
"Oh. Right, right, right. You guys went to boarding school," Tashi confirmed.
Margo could see it. Art seemed like the obedient boarding school kid. Nothing bad with them - he just fit the profile.
"Mm. We've been bunkmates since we were twelve so," Patrick recalled.
"That's so cute," Margo smiles.
"You ever thought about doing something like that?" Art questioned.
"Boarding school? No. No, no, no. We couldn't afford it. I think Margo went to boarding school for a while though. She's the one from old money," Tashi explains, nodding her head in Margo's direction.
"I fucking hated it though," Margo frowned at the memories.
"And even if I could get a scholarship or something, there's no way that my parents would want me coming of age in an environment like that. Plus, Margo's stories are enough to scare me," Tashi continued.
"I wanna hear," Patrick grinned, automatically expecting the worst.
"Another time, darling," Margo winks at him.
"Hey, what were they afraid of anyway?" Patrick asks Tashi.
Tashi sends him a look, and Patrick quickly realized the harsh reality. In a lot of boarding schools that were predominately white - girls like Margo and Tashi stuck out like a sore thumb for all the wrong reasons. Tashi's parents cared about her enough to shield her from that. Margo wasn't so fortunate.
"So, um, is that where you met your girlfriend?" Tashi asks, taking a sip of beer after and handing it to Margo.
Margo grimaces at the taste, more used to champagne and vodka than beer. But she keeps drinking, not wanting to be the odd girl out.
"Oh, she's not my, um... Yeah, yeah," Patrick relents.
"And you? Why aren't you pretending not to have a girlfriend?" Tashi asks next.
"Art's in between ladies," Patrick remarked.
"He better not be," Margo remarked, playful enough to convince Tashi that she was kidding.
"Oh, no, no. That makes it sound like I'm some sort of... ," Art trails off, struggling to find the right word for it.
"Player," Margo finishes for him, "It makes you sound like you're a player which... I can't believe for a second."
"Thank you," Art nodded.
"Yeah, Art does fine for himself. I mean, look at him," Patrick adds, stroking his cheek before Art shoves him away.
"So...," Tashi trails off, now tucking her legs underneath her as she gently sways back and forth. "How often does this happen?"
"Uh...," Patrick trails off, confused.
"Going after the same girl. Or girls in this case," Tashi shrugged.
"Not as often as you think actually," Patrick admitted.
"Really?" Tashi questioned.
"No. Yeah, no, we, uh... We usually have different types," Art explained.
"Interesting. Should we be flattered?" Margo raised a brow.
"Well...," Art trails off.
"No," Patrick answers.
"Aren't you two everybody's type?" Art questioned, glancing between the two of them.
Tashi and Margo share a look before softly chuckling, turning their attention back onto Art and Patrick. "What about the two of you?"
"What do you mean?" Art asks, a little confused.
"Come on," Margo chuckles.
Tashi motions between the two of them and that's when it finally clicks for Art.
"Oh!" Art exclaimed. "No. No. Have you two ever...?"
"A couple times but mostly just making out. Tashi was my first kiss, and I was hers," Margo answered.
"Hot," Patrick commented.
Tashi rolled her eyes. "Of course you'd say that."
"Are you seriously telling me you two haven't done anything?" Margo inquired.
"Yes. Why? Is that surprising?" Art asked.
Seeing as Art wasn't giving anything up, Tashi focused her attention on Patrick who was a little more vulnerable.
"What?" Tashi questioned.
"Well...," Patrick began to say.
But Art immediately cuts him off. "No."
"I mean..."
"No."
"Patrick, no."
"Sorry."
"Yes. I think you need to tell us now."
"No."
"I think it's a sweet story."
Margo smirks. "How sweet are we talking?"
"Uh-huh. Alright."
"Well, let's hear it."
Art hides his face, looking everywhere but at the two girls. "Yeah, no, go ahead."
"Uh... I taught Art how to jerk off, so," Patrick explains.
"Oh. That is sweet, I guess," Margo shrugs, biting her lower lip to keep from laughing.
"Okay. Patrick was an early bloomer, okay? And I think that I was on time. And one time when we were twelve, he thought I was asleep and he was, you know...," Art recalls, trailing off to motion with his hands.
"Jerking off," he and Patrick say at the same time.
"And, yeah... And I asked him, 'What are you doing?' And he told me. He's jerking off," Art continued. But he and Patrick said jerking off at the same time. "He asked me if I had ever done it before and I told him no. And so, he just... he showed me how."
"What do you mean he showed you how?" Tashi questioned.
"No. I mean...," Art trails off.
"Well...," Patrick begins to interject.
"I mean, he did it on his bed," Art continued.
"Okay," Tashi nods.
"I did it on my bed. We did it together, but like on opposite sides in the room," Art explained further.
"Yeah. Mm-hm," Patrick agreed.
"How romantic," Margo jokes, making everyone else laugh. Art was more so embarrassed but was trying to play it off.
"Silent?" Tashi questioned.
"No, no," the boys say in unison.
"We were talking about Kat, weren't we?" Art asks.
"Kat Zimmerman," Patrick nodded.
"Patrick said it's always better if you're like thinking about somebody when you're doing it. And so I asked him who you're thinking about and he was talking about this girl, Kat Zimmerman. And so, I thought about her too," Art expounded.
"Wow," Margo and Tashi both say at the same time.
"Yeah," Patrick nods.
"Okay, and who finished first?" Tashi questioned.
"Oh, I don't remember," Art quickly answers.
"I think you," Patrick points right at his best friend, making Art go silent.
Tashi and Margo giggle nonetheless. "And, well, how was it afterwards?"
"I think Art was a little surprised by the whole thing. He was... He was just sitting there covered in all of it," Patrick laughed.
"Oh my God, are you serious?" Margo couldn't help herself, even if she did end up feeling a little bad for him.
"Yeah, he looked like a kid who'd spilled milk all over his lap," Patrick responded.
"Jesus, Patrick!" Art says in between laughs, hiding his face with his shirt.
"Aw, don't be embarrassed, Art. It's kind of cute," Margo assures him, leaning forward to pat him on the shoulder.
"Thanks," he sends her an appreciative smile.
"I knew enough already at this point to have a sock nearby," Patrick stated. "Forgot to tell Art about that part."
"Yeah," is all Art says, softly punching the ground.
"Right, okay. And what about Miss Zimmerman?" Tashi asks as she takes the beer can from Patrick. "Whatever happened to her? You guys...?"
"Neither of us... She got injured a week later and had to quit," Patrick answered.
"Poor thing," Margo remarked, although her tone lacked real sympathy.
"She wasn't very good in the first place," Patrick added.
"No, she sucked," Art agreed.
"Yeah, no, you're right. That is a very cute story," Tashi replied before taking a long sip from the can.
"Thanks," Patrick nods.
"We're out of beer," Tashi says after.
The room goes silent for a moment as the boys scrambled to try and think of something. But that's when Tashi gets up and Margo joins her. For a moment, she wondered if they were going to leave. Tashi proves her wrong when she sits on the edge of the bed and pulls Margo right onto her lap. Margo was a little surprised, but she makes herself comfortable while Tashi starts rubbing her thigh.
"Come here," Tashi ordered the other two.
"Which one of us would you -?" Art doesn't even get to finish his question since Patrick had already gotten up, racing towards the bed. Art quickly follows suit and the both of them sit on opposite sides of Tashi and Margo.
Tashi kisses Margo first, something the two of them had done countless times. Margo was more than comfortable with it, and she moves in closer while Tashi continues to rub her thigh and get her more aroused. But before anything more could escalate, Tashi pulls away to go and kiss Art. Margo kisses Patrick for the hell of it, not really feeling much of anything outside of passion.
Soon enough, they switched partners and Margo was able to kiss Art. With him, Margo felt something more than just passion. Maybe it was due to the stupid little crush she had on Art but she was only liking him more.
They were all making out with each other, Art and Patrick kissing Tashi's neck while Margo and Tashi continued to kiss as well. Margo wasn't too sure what would happen next and that made it all the more exciting. As they all kissed each other, Tashi and Margo pulled away from the kiss and watched as Art and Patrick now made out with each other. The two share a look before turning to look back at the sight with a smile.
But Tashi was quick to put it all to an end as the kiss began escalating. "Okay."
Art and Patrick pull away from each other, turning to look at the two girls in slight bewilderment.
"I'm going to bed," Tashi says as she pushes past them, climbing out of the bed while Margo sat there next to Art.
"Boo, you're no fun," Margo pouts, flipping her hair over her shoulders.
"What about your numbers?" Patrick asked.
"I told you, I'm not a homewrecker," Tashi remarked. "Come on, Margo."
"Fine," Margo sighs, kissing both boys on the cheek before she gets up. "That was fun."
"Please," Patrick pleaded, making Tashi laugh.
"Um... Okay, uh... Margo and I will be watching your match tomorrow. Whoever wins can have our numbers. But we choose who we want," Tashi states.
"Alright," Patrick agreed while Art looked equally as happy.
"You can beat him, you know that," Tashi assured Art. "You should beat him actually."
"Are you saying you want me to?" Art questioned.
"I know I want you to," Margo admits. "Not only would it gave Patrick here an ego check, but I'd like your number too."
Patrick chuckles while Art just smiles.
"Besides, you're not gonna get either of our numbers if you don't," Tashi adds.
"But what do you want?" Art asked.
"I want to watch some good fucking tennis," Tashi answered. "Good night."
"Good night, boys. Try not to jerk off together tonight," Margo adds with a smirk before she and Tashi leave together.
"Tashi," Margo says as they walk down the hall, leaving the hotel side by side, "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah," Tashi nods.
"If Art wins, do you think you can let me have him?" Margo asked. She hated how desperate she sounded but she knew that if Tashi wanted to, she could have Art wrapped around her finger. Margo wanted some sort of chance.
Tashi scoffs. "I thought you didn't like him like that."
"I don't. But that doesn't mean I can't screw him a couple times," Margo shrugged. Of course, she did like him a lot more than that. But she didn't want to tell Tashi everything.
"You know you don't need my permission for anything, right? If he wins, then he's all yours," Tashi insists.
"Thanks," Margo sighs in relief.
Tashi smiles, although it doesn't reach her eyes. "No problem. I mean, what are friends for?"
