Soooo great news guys!
Yesterday I auditioned for a thing called Junior Districts. Basically, you get judged on your musical talent, and if you do well, you get in.
I play the flute. This year, about 30 something flutists tried out. They only accept about 8 to 10 flutes out of that.
I practiced 4 friggin months for that! 4 friggin months!
But guess what? Hard work pays off. After hours of worrying, my band teacher emailed us tonight that I.... made it in!!! It's my first year of being in JD and I'm also pretty sad because my bestie, also an amazing flutist, didn't make it in 😢
Junior Districts means that I'll have to practice a lot more and attend mandatory rehearsals and concerts, so that pretty much kills my schedule. But otherwise, I'm so glad to have such an amazing opportunity to be in this group! And a big thanks to the kind and hardworking judges who evaluated everyone. Also congrats 💖 to those who auditioned, whether they made it or not.

Today my mom and I went out for a hugeeee shopping spree to prepare for Christmas events! After stopping to get some coffee, we stocked up on groceries, scented candles, special gifts, festive clothing, and the merriest decorations!
What I got:
~A 14 pack of makeup brushes and 3 blender sponges (Yes, I have a serious obsession, and you can blame James Charles for my makeup sweet tooth👀)
~An adorable "Meowy Christmas" shirt with the cutest cat on it lol
~A furry plaid hoodie (that we decided to return cuz it didn't really work out)
~The FUZZIEST army green camo hoodie that I'm wearing rn... (like I could literally live in it)
~Some comfy cafe brown boots
~Two amazing scented candles and some lovely long slipper socks for my bestie
~A TON of bath bombs for my friends
~A "feliz navidad" sign to decorate my room with a little gray gnome thingy plush 😂
~A friggin bag full of scented candles
(And a bunch of other boring stuff...)
