What would you do if you saw the real me?
Someone like you, a guy, a he.
Would you still laugh at the jokes I make?
And flirt with me like its a piece of cake.
Will you keep texting me later at night?
Or as soon as you wake up at the morning light.
When you see me for the first time will you be wearing a smile?
Or just turn, horrified and run away for a mile.
Will you be the one or just break me heart?
Whether you're ugly or handsome, for me you'll always be a piece of art.
But if you knew I am gay would you be okay?
To fall in love with a soul, ready to pay.
For the world is cruel, do you think it will be an easy path?
