Solangelo: The Camp Shippers from Solangelo Fluff One-shots Series One

"Hear ye! Hear ye!", Jason said as he pounded his sword on the table. "I hearby call the meeting of the Nico and Will ship team to order!" The demigods were in the basement of the Big House, where Chiron had allowed them to start having these meetings since the end of the war two months ago. Mostly because they were starting to get on his nerves sneaking around meeting in different cabins all the time. Also, he too secretly wanted Nico and Will together. 

Sitting around the table were several campers who believed that Will Solace and Nico di Angelo were head over heals in love with each other and needed to be paired up. Jason and Percy were the leaders of the group. Almost every cabin was present such as Piper, Lacey,Mitchell from the Aphrodite cabin. Leo, Jake, Nyssa and Harley from Hephaestus cabin. Lou Ellen from Hecate.Annabeth and Malcom from Athena. Will's siblings Austin and Kayla and Connor Stoll from Hermes cabin. All of them were solid Solangelo shippers. 

Percy stands up, "Ok, our first order of business: Nico and Will have been talking to each other more than usual lately according to our super cute intelligence officer." Annabeth rolls her eyes. "Percy, as cute as the pet names and compliments are, we are here to get Nico and Will together. Not you and me." Connor spoke up, "Yeah, that mission was completed last year!" "Order!", Jason says with an air of authority as he slams his sword again. "Annabeth, your report please?" 

Annabeth clears her throat and shuffles her papers. "According to my sources, Austin and Kayla. Will has been practicing Italian lately. Due to Nico's heritage, it is believed he is attempted to court him." Several "Ooohs" are made around the table. Annabeth shushes everyone as she continues. "Likewise, Nico who as everyone knows has never worn a color lighter than grey, has begun wearing yellow necklaces. And three days ago, was believed to have been wearing a yellow hoodie with the words Sun Festival written on it. This is also believed to be an attempt to get Will to notice him." 

"Something has to be done. Does anyone have any ideas to get the two of them to confess their feelings?",Piper says. Lou Ellen perks up, "We could whip up a truth potion, trick them both into drinking it and then leave them alone together in the same room!" Jason nods as though he likes this plan before Percy interjects. "That's a good idea, but you have to remember this is Nico we're talking about. He has a lot of secrets, some he may not be comfortable sharing. We need to get them together but at the same time respect their privacy." Leo looks bored as he twirls a flame around his finger. "I think the fact that we are all here, meeting like this, already shows we don't respect their privacy." "Any other ideas?", Jason asks, choosing to ignore Leo.

Austin raises his hand. "Well, I could play a magical love song while they're hanging out. It may lead to them confessing their feelings." This idea is met with much murmurings of agreement. "That's a good idea Austin. I say we try it!", Percy says as he gets up. "Ok, for the plan to work, Austin would have to be hidden but in a place where he can still play his saxophone", Malcolm says as he whips out a map of camp. "Nico usually hangs out within proximity of his cabin, near the edge of the forest or around the training arena. Will spends most of his time in the infirmary, or in the strawberry fields." "So where should they meet up?", Lacey says. "Since neither of them seem to be in the same area that often, it looks like we'll have to do some desperate measures", Nyssa says. "Like what", Piper asks suspiciously. "Well, we could arrange for Nico to get hurt and then he would have to go to the infirmary." "We aren't purposely getting him hurt!", Percy shouts. "Any other ideas?" "Where's the one place where they would have to be in the same area?", Kayla asks. Leo rolls his eyes, "Can we hurry this up, I'm getting hungry." "Leo, you're a genius!", Annabeth squeals. "Yikes, I can't believe I just said that, but they'll both be in the Dining Pavilion! We can do our plan there!" "It's settled then! Tomorrow, we will strike!", Jason says.

The next day, as Apollo drives his Sun chariot over camp halfblood, the demigods all file into the dining pavilion for breakfast. "Sup Will", Percy says nonchalantly as he leans against one of the support beams. Will glances at him and smiles, "I'm great, how are you." Percy keeps the aloof act going. "I'm chill, you know me just go with the flow." Will nods, "If you say so." Will grabs his food and sits down at the Apollo table. As he sits with his siblings he looks around wondering where Austin is. 

Percy walks over to the table he often shares with the seven. Jason, Leo, Piper and Annabeth sit at the table looking around. "Hey guys, is Austin in position?", he asks as he sits down. "Yeah he is", Jason says discreetly pointing towards a bush, "but we have a problem." "What?" "Nico isn't here", Annabeth says. "What! Why not? Where is he?" Leo laughs. "What's so funny?", Piper says. "Don't you guys realize? It's early in the morning. Nico never wakes up before 11 am." The four demigods look pale-faced as they realize that Leo is right. "Crap, tell Austin that the plans off", Annabeth whispers to Jason. "We'll try again later." 

Later that day, the Solangelo shippers team regrouped and tried to find their targets. "Where are they?", Jason says. "I don't know. Kayla and Austin both said that Will isn't in the cabin or the infirmary and no ones seen Nico since lunch!", Percy says to the group as they sit at the bonfire. The whole group sighs, "Well, we can try again another day. I guess today wasn't our day", Piper says. Annabeth groans frustrated, "We've been planning for three months to get them together! Even remodeling Olympus wasn't this hard." "Maybe we need to get some divine influence involved", Mitchell says. "I say, we call my mother and ask her to borrow her magical love belt and then we sneak it onto Will and..." Leo gets bored and tones out the groups conversation and throws more flames in the bonfire. Their planning and bickering goes on until sundown.

Meanwhile, while the group was meeting at the bonfire, Chiron had been taken a stroll through the strawberry feels like he always does when he's bored or just when he wants to go for a walk. Suddenly he hears laughing. He looks around in the strawberry bushels and sees a tuft of blonde hair. He creeps closer with stunning stealth for a centaur. "How long do you think they'll keep at it!" "I don't know, until they find out I guess." "It's cool of Leo to keep our secret for us." "Yeah, we really owe him one, even if it was him who walked in on us making out." "Oh my gods that was so embarrassing." The two boys crack up laughing. "Oh by the way, heres your yellow Sun Festival hoodie back." "No, Nico you can keep it." "Thanks Will." Will smiles at Nico, "Happy Four and a Half month anniversary sweetie." Will smiles at Nico then takes a breath and says the phrase he memorized. "Ti amo Nico." Nico smiles back, "I love you too." The two demigods lean into each other and kiss passionately as they watch the stars.

Chiron walks away from the couple and leaves them be, shaking his head and chuckling. "For a group of the most skilled demigods I've ever trained, that group sure isn't that smart... I wonder if I can finally have the basement back."
