Well my friend my advice to you is;

1: Get internet friends there are tons of different ways to meet them. My best choice for you to meet them is on an Amino app where you can meet a whole ton different types of people and there's fun stuff to do other than people. There's groups for all you lgbtq needs. This sounds like a brand deal but it's not.

2: If you're around my age (freshman) try making friends with older kids. The good majority of my friends are in 11th grade. By then they have grown up a lot (believe it or not) and have a magic little thing called tolerance. So if you're comfortable with it kinda chat with them and try to make an acquaintance with them. Trust me that will come in handy in the future. 

3: You can just live it up with your one friend. I rocked my 7th grade years with 1 or 2 friends, so don't worry about it. Now I found my thing (I'm funny and good at art). So use that to your advantage. 

4: This one sounds shitty but stay in the closet. I know it seems shitty but trust me it's safer than being out if everyone around you homophobic.
