A Blossoming Friendship
Leyland Adventures Chapter One: Part Two
"Greetings, are you ok?"
Finally finding a way out of her eloquent eyes, he replied. "Yeah, I'm fine...thank you. Where am I exactly?"
"This is Leyland, an exotic planet that is home to elemental fairies such as fire, water, wind, etc. Leyland is disunited into five massive and distinct regions, Kula, Otto, Sarano, Miri, and Rimmirus. You are currently in the Kula Region. My name is Aradressa, soon-to-be queen of this enchanted land. My elemental type is a combination of fire and healing."
"A planet of magical fairies...interesting. Nice to meet you, Princess Aradressa. Please allow me to introduce myself, the name's Tysashi Aerosmith, freedom fighter, and universal hero for all. I am at your service, my princess."
He stood down one knee, holding his head down nobly as innocent giggles pleased his ears.
"I do ask of one thing from you, please follow me to my home so that you may feel at ease with this planet."
This certain offer summoned multiple flashing memories, an attractive girl expressing extreme amounts of hospitality was just an ordinary for such a legendary hero. He clearly didn't know much about this new world, and no other logical solution present to him. Leaping out of the crater, he followed closely with Aradressa, gazing wonderingly at her pink hair ride through the wind like a strand of ribbon. The refreshing grass below his shoe carried a lovely shade of green as did the trees around the land. Colorful plants and small organisms occupied the area, light pink birds were just as common as the bees hopping from flower to flower.
"Is there anything I should know before we get to the castle?"
"My mother, Marissa, is the current ruler of the land and as I've verbalized before, she'll one day give her power to me."
"Do you have a father?"
"I previously did have a father figure, haplessly, he...passed away during the destructive war when I was a newborn. Ever since then, it was just me, my mother, and the guards in and out of the castle."
Even if her angelic voice didn't express it, painful memories of how her mother described him still left an impact.
"I apologize, I didn't mean to remind you. I also lost my parents at a young age as well, first my dad and then my mom. The only thing I had left was my brother, Lennon, but he has no idea where I am."
She sincerely gave her condolences to Tysashi's past struggles. Though he went through an excessive number of hardships, he still made the claim that everything was fine now.

Just as another sentence was being spoken, a wide, eight-story castle constructed of gleaming white brick walls came into view. The grand towers surrounding the ironic building stood tall as the armed guards in stainless steel armor with durable shields containing the engraving of fairy wings stood near the entrance and took watch of the area. While approaching the castle, they noticed a stranger walking beside the beloved princess though he was unlike the others as something was unique about the new visitor.
She announced that Tysashi was her friend, and he was no imminent threat to her or anyone else. Though this came from the mouth of the future queen herself, the silent guards still had feelings of distrust with Tysashi. Inspecting his innocent figure more accurately, he was granted permission to enter the castle.
Exquisite paintings, decorative plants, and valuable items were scattered throughout the hallway. The marble-tiled floor remained perfect no matter who soiled it. The walls made of the purest and elegant stone were untouched by careless beings. It was truly heaven, the quietness of it all allowed for one's thoughts to feel like an echo.
A considerably taller, light-skinned fairy with a shining cosmic blue dress came into view. Her lengthy azure hair was much more extensive than hers. The towering figure had her eyes restricted from opening, she was literally in her own thoughts. Despite observing the occupation with her mother, she still attempted to break the silence of her mother by announcing she had something rather important to relay. Upon her statement, the queen revealed her dark blue, galaxy-like eyes, immediately questioning the presence of the teenager beside her.
"This is Tysashi, a freedom fighter, and a selfless hero. He recently crashed landed in Kula Fields and I attended to his injuries. I was hoping he could stay here for a while until he gets back to his world," she spoke with great confidence within her voice, directly gazing into her mother's divine eyes."
"What is your world called?" Her eyes darted at Tysashi.
"Lenovo, ma'am," he proudly replied.
"I see...discard yourself from my presence. I wish not to discuss matters with someone who doesn't belong here."
Unenthusiastic about the answer, she continued to fight for Tysashi to be admitted into their home while he could only watch them go back and forth.
"Aradressa, I thought I told you to stop bringing people into the castle, you know the deplorable dangers they bring."
"This time is different, I desire to stick with Tysashi. In the few moments I've known him, my abilities have presented a glimpse of his noble character. The heroic spirit I feel from him is unlike anything I've encountered thus far. I know he denotes well."
Marissa scanned Tysashi; he didn't seem to pose any danger but then again because of her condition, she couldn't be one hundred percent sure.
"We cannot allow him to wander around in a world unfamiliar to him, please understand he isn't a threat to anyone or anything."
The unaltered, neutral expression her daughter made proved she was passionate for his safety. Aradressa was correct, letting Tysashi travel by himself without any knowledge would indeed invite him to deaths' cold, heartless, and eternal grasp.
"Very well, he can stay, but under some guidelines," Marissa requested two loyal guards to arrive. They soon came in with a straight posture and a bowed head.
"Tysashi, I grant you permission to reside in this building but you are unpermitted to disobey my orders. Whenever I ask you for something, you follow it. If you fail to comply with me, I shall reward you with a fate worse than death."
He painfully swallowed his worries, stating he will obey every order given by those above him.
She continued by saying her army of men will have permission to punish him if he ever becomes annoying, uncivil, or uncontained. Both guards shot their weapons towards him, the sharp tip of their silver blades didn't exactly scare him but it was enough to ensure he got the message.
Just before she asked them to leave, another rule came forward.
"Tysashi...if you consider anything funny with my daughter," at the end of the cliffhanger, she snapped her delicate, pure fingers. The guards handled Tysashi like a slave, forcefully placing his hands in an uncomfortable position behind his back as they hauled him upstairs.

Tysashi had just been thrown into room two hundred and eighty-one like a filthy criminal. His body crashed onto the floor as he looked back up at the wardens of his cell.
"This where you'll be staying if you step out of line."
Though the walls of the room were coated with lime-green paint and the comfortable cream floor felt as if you were stepping on heaven, items like the flat-screen television and the numerous drawings scattered on the walls would be removed along with the flooring if necessary.
"I got it. I'll be sure to follow every rule," he convinced them with a trustful glare, shortly returning to the main hallway.
Meeting with the others, he confirmed he would try his best to prove himself loyal and useful. Marissa gave him a light smile, afterward demanding everyone to scatter so that she may continue with her activities.
A sudden warmth was placed on his hand, her velvety hand grasped him in a gentle manner as soothing waves of pleasure crashed onto both of them.
"Please allow me to present your living quarters."
He nodded, walking up the marble stairway with spotless golden handles. Though her fluttering wings would often get in the way, the walk allowed for those thoughts of becoming lost from home much more tolerable, especially with his new companion.
