Chapter 3
Guys, meet Lauren, my sister.
Now Lauren, can you go threw that door where you'll meet a guy in a wheelchair. He will explain everything.
Phew.
Everyone left.
I'm still here.
Right, sorry, Rachel.
So where did I get to?
I was about to get claimed.
So you see, there are plenty of children of Hecate.
Which makes sense, every god has a few different kids.
Typhon wasn't one of those gods though.
So I suppose most Gods is more correct.
First to claim me was Hecate herself, well she came to camp herself.
So, let's not talk to much about the first time I ever met my mum...
He bawled like a little kid!
PERCY!
You come back and taunt me, seriously?
I teared up a little bit, okay?
I had just met my mum for the first time ever, it was exciting.
Gods aren't supposed to have much contact with their children, but getting a hug from her was amazing.
Now things have changed but again I'll get to that later.
However everyone in camp knew, that this couldn't be all.
Hecate was the God of Magic yes, but becoming a monster without being able to use magic was impossible.
I remember being unable to breathe when Hecate said that there was more.
"I am not the only Godly Parent."
She seemed to freeze the entire Camp.
I noticed Mr D. shaking his head frantically at Hecate but she didn't listen.
That's where she said it, Typhon was my father.
I was to be the strongest demigod of our age, which meant a lot of pressure on me.
Despite Percy the one in the prophecy, well they think.
Right, I never explain that prophecy either...
Rachel do you know the prophecy?
A half-blood of the eldest gods
Shall reach sixteen against all odds
And see the world in endless sleep
The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap
A single choice shall end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze
Thanks love.
Anyway...
It's me that would have to fight.
After that day though, I got treated differently.
Nobody wanted anything to do with me, except Percy who seemed to be in the same situation.
It was basically us loners versus that world.
Whenever we had sword training, I got my ass handed to me.
During archery and magic classes I beat Percy by a large margin.
Yeah, never give Percy Jackson a bow.
It will not end well.
Our story went on like this for a while, until Chiron called me and Percy to the Big House for something.
Ah, I just realised I never introduced Grover into the story did I?
Sorry dude.
Grover was Percy's protector. The saytr that brought him to Camp Half Blood.
Anyway, Grover took both of us from the Poseidon cabin and took us to where Mr D and Chiron where sat in wait.
They talked about a fight between Zeus and Percy's dad.
Apparently the almighty lightning bolt was stolen or something.
And it was Percy's job to go and fetch it, seemed simple enough, Percy being the selfless idiot he is accepted quickly and was told to get his prophecy.
So Percy, care to say your prophecy for everyone listening?
You shall go west, and face the god who has turned,
You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned,
You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend,
And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end.
Okay, thank you.
You see, when he told me about this, I was worried.
Because me and Percy had made quite a few 'friends' during our stay.
Namely Annabeth, Grover and Luke.
So which one would betray us?
Or would it be me?
And fail to save what matters most in the end.
He only told me the entire prophecy though, he told everyone else the first two lines and nothing else.
Which was a stupid move.
That's true.
Thank you for backing me up Annabeth, wait when did you get back in here?
Who else is gonna sneak back in here?
Now here is the most important thing.
The quest was only for three people to do.
Percy was the first obviously. Grover, being his protector, was second and the third was someone that was predetermined, Annabeth.
So obviously I wasn't aloud to go.
Of course I wouldn't be telling this story if I just spent the entire summer at camp.
I knew that Annabeth had an invisibility cap.
So obviously, I asked her to borrow it.
She said no.
So I spent the next day learning an invisabilty spell with the help of my sister, Lou.
Okay, so there was a few more people who didn't hate me at the time.
Most of them where counsellors of the cabins and my brother and sisters from Hecate.
It took half a day but I managed to successfully complete the spell and keep it active for around half an hour.
Which would be plenty of time to escape and catch up with them.
Lou also taught me how to manipulate the mist.
The mist is basically a magical barrier that stops humans from seeing monsters and the supernatural.
By manipulating the mist I can make people think what I want, and remove memories from their brain.
It would be actually an incredible skill and is really useful.
She said that I'd manage to use some more magic that, every Hecate child has a special spell only they can use.
She can turn people into piglets, which was hilarious until she threatened me with it.
So the day arrived when the trio would be leaving, heading west.
I ran after Luke trying to catch up with him, because he was fast.
He gave Percy some flying shoes, which was impressive as hell.
Percy, being almost at war with the God of the sky gave them too Grover to wear later on.
Me, as far as Chiron was concerned, was just here to wave them off.
Until his back was turned and I ran down the hill to catch up with the trio.
I, whilst invisible, actually got into the boot of the car that they were heading out in.
Well, it was a bumpy ride, and hurt a lot.
Though, the look on Grover's face when he opened up the boot and found me was priceless.
It sure was.
Guysssss...
Sorry Grover, how about this, I get you a can for the trouble.
Would that make you feel better?
He nodded, 5 minute break guys, gonna grab a drink and Grover a can!
Peace out for now.
~~~~~~
I know nobody reads this story but I love it so I'm gonna keep it going.
Sue me.
Please dont, I'm saving up for Uni and kinda need that money.
Oblivion, fading out.
