Y/N: Leviathan Report. This is...day 3? Might still be day 2. I honestly don't know anymore. Jesus. A lot has happened in such a small span of time. An intergalactic war, a plot for vengeance, a mother's attempt to save her son, a hero with the weight of the galaxy on his shoulders, and a family situation that's almost as screwed up as my own. Maybe even more. I don't know yet. Anyway, Hulking aka Teddy aka Emperor of the Kree-Skrull Alliance has now turned his back on all of humanity by placing the Pyre, a key to destroy the entire galaxy, into the sun. Well, it may not be Teddy. At least, the Teddy we know. I was teleported alongside Carol Denvers and Johnny Storm to the apartment of Teddy and Billy, Teddy's husband. Man. That was the summary but, so much more has happened.

Carol: You alright kid?

You snapped out of your thought log and turned back to the other three people in the apartment.

Y/N: Yeah. Just recording a journal entry.

Johnny: Like, a diary?

You shook your head.

Y/N: No I, I make these entries in case something happens. I want my family to know what happened if aby of this goes sideways. Uh, again.

You deactivated your helmet and turned to Billy aka Wiccan.

Y/N: Uh, sorry about your husband. I know that whoever is up there, isn't him. Can't be.

Billy: I'm aware.

He was sitting on the couch with his feet up on the table as he laughed to himself. You looked at him for a moment before you sat next to him.

Y/N: So, you two got married. I didn't know that.

Billy just smiled.

Billy: Well, that's a funny story. It was the ultimate drop everything secret mission...

A Few Days Ago...

Teddy had...an hour before he had to go to space. And....well, we used about half that. And I just looked at him and, and I couldn't keep it in. Everything I felt about him. About this...this unbelievable space prince. It just poured out of me.

Billy: You're a miracle, Teddy Altman. You're everything. I swear, when this is all over...

Teddy had sat up from my chest and smiled.

Teddy: Why wait?

He says. And he just, looks at me. With those eyes. I mean, you've seen his eyes, right?

Carol: Maybe not the way you've seen them.

Johnny: Really? You never noticed the eyes?

Y/N: They are quite beautiful eyes.

You knew exactly what Billy was talking about. You have seen those kind of eyes, but not from Teddy. You have seen those kind of eyes from Nadia. The way she looked at you when you were talking about science or when she would go on a rant about how cool something was. After the two of you, uh, "bonded" or when you dance in the middle of the night because neither of you could sleep. The eyes of a lover.

He looks at me and says, in that way he got, he says "Billy? How fast can you get us to vegas?"

Billy: This is crazy. You're crazy. How did you even know this place existed?

Teddy: We were in A.I.M, remember? I learned to always have a ridiculous scheme ready.

I had teleported us to some marriage hall in Las Vegas that Teddy had told me about. We quickly got dressed in our nicest suits.

Pastor: Hey! My guys! We'll have the paperwork ready in five minutes, okay? Then we can get this wedding rolling.

Teddy: Thanks, Allen. Billy, call your folks. They'll want the live feed. Then call the team.

The team. The other Young Avengers. Our friends, our family.

Billy: To Vegas, in five minutes? That's, it's way too short notice, Teddy. They'll never make it....

Teddy: Billy. Half our friends are super-speedsters and teleporters. And they love us. Trust me, we could never keep them away.

And so, we got married. Just like he said, our team couldn't stay away.

Teddy: Okay, I think we got about eleven minutes left. You want to head home? Honeymoon snuggle on the roof, look at the stars?

Billy: I still can't believe we did this. You did this. Just like that. Who are you Teddy Altman?

Teddy just smiled that charming smile of his as he looked at me with more confidence than I had ever seen.

Teddy: I'm your husband, Billy Kaplan. And I'm the gosh darn King of Space.

Y/N: Wow. That's, a really cool story. I'm happy for you and congrats.

Billy: Thank you, Leviathan. Look, this isn't just a happy memory. It's not digression. I'm symbolically bonded to Teddy now. And magic is a metaphor, so symbol and reality are the same thing. As long as he's alive, I can feel him. I can feel him now. And I can find him.

Billy's eyes began to glow blue as he clenched his fists. All around the apartment, various items began to fly up as the lights dimmed and the blue light glowed brighter.

Carol: Your magic seems a little more, focused than usual Wiccan.

Billy: You would not believe the crap this Alliance of Teddy's has put us through, Captain Marvel. They tried to split us up on day one. So...yeah. I'm focused.

You smiled as you activated your helmet again.

Billy: Let's go.

In a bright, blinding blue light, the four of you vanished from the apartment.

Lake Victoria...

"Jen": Have you ever faced anything like me?

She kicked Ben away once again as she continued to walk forward. She then delivered a powerful blow to his face.

"Jen": Not a Hulk who simply lashes back at you. Not a Hulk who's trying to prove he's better than you.

She delivered another blow that sent some blood flying.

"Jen": Not a Hulk that's restrained by the voice within.

She punched him in the face again.

"Jen": But a Hulk with a purpose, Thing. A Hulk that doesn't hit you with rage, or even malice, but with intent. A Hulk with a mission to kill you.

She then kicked him to the ground. Above the fight in a invisible sphere. Mantis and Sue watched helplessly as Sue did everything she could to help.

Mantis: Susan, block her blows! Use your force fields to...

Sue: That's what I'm doing, Mantis! She's, she's punching through them!

Mantis: Then, then you have to put on in her brain...

Sue: God help me, I tried that. I'm trying everything I can. She doesn't even seem to notice.

The monster contoued to pound on Ben with no signs of letting up as Ben grew weaker.

"Jen": Because this body is already dead, yet strong enough to survive anything. So just give up, Grimm. Let the pain end and embrace your final destiny. As fertilizer for...

Suddenly, the monster found her hand caught. Ben stared at her with angry eyes. Determined eyes.

Ben: Did...Didja say...give up...?

He used his other hand and delivered a strong enough blow to send the monster flying away.

Ben: 'Cause I can't do that.

Ben slowly oushed himself up despite all the blood pouring from the cracks in his skin.

Ben: See...there's this pair 'a kids I know. Little...Little scrappers. Never known nothing but war.

He rose to his feet and held his wound.

Ben: Can't....Can't seem ta get their face outta my head. It's funny. Ain't like I'm short a reason to fight, right? You killed my friend...you wanna kill my family...why am I think about two strangers? Only...these two strangers got a chance now. Chance at a home....chance at a better life.

Ben clenched his fists as the monster faced him down.

Ben: And all I got to do is not give up on 'em. All I gotta do is not die. So I guess I can't die. I'm the Immortal Thing. Put up ya dukes.

The Foothills of the Great Vibranium Mound...

Shuri: The Cotati are sending a constant stream of reinforcements to your position. It's their great advantage. With their magic, they can grow new troops from seeds and cuttings.

Black Panther: And our own reinforcements Shuri?

Shuri: I have some airsupport headed your way. All we can spare. All our forces; Earth, or Kree-Skrull Empire, civlian or military, are engaged. In skirmishes across five continents. Reed Richards and Tony Stark are working on disputing the Cotati's power over plant life...

Black Panther: But in the meantime, our allies are successfully distracted, while their main force advances on the Great Mound, yes?

T'Challa sliced through another Cotati soldier with the Star-Sword before he sliced through another.

T'Challa: And the Vibranium enriched soil that will enhance that power, to the level of the gods!

He sliced down another before turning around to fight even more.

Shuri: Unless you stop them, brother.

Black Panther: Well then, sister. Stop them I must.

He rejoined the fight as the mages watched from a distance.

Mage: Ignore his bold words, my brethren! See how he bleeds!

Warlock: Even the king of beasts must bow, T'Challa! How do you fight the forest?

T'Challa didn't let up even a lottle as he glided and leaped and jumped and slid across the battlefield as he sliced down whoever stood in his way.

Black Panther: One tree at a time.

Pilot: This is Ukhozi Squadron, repeat, this is Ukhozi Squadron calling King T'Challa.

T'Challa: I hear you.

Pilot: We are inbound in 15 seconds, your highness. Weapons hot. Requesting clarification. There are so many...what's our target?

T'Challa looked around him and smirked unser his maks.

Black Panther: Where the enemy is congregated. Target me.

Almost immediately, gunfire rained down on the swarm of Cotati and the king. T'Challa didn't even bat an eye as he began to leap and dance around the attack flawlessly, cutting down whoever wasn't shot. T'Challa pushed his way through to where the mages were as they watched.

Mage: See how he dances through the fire, warriors? Surviving all we send at him? Surviving even himself? Showing his weakness! For we do not have to survive! We can die...and for Quoi, our messiah, we will!

He lifted his staff as it began to glow. T'Challa moved as fast as he could.

Mage: Die in thousands, and drown him in the sap!

T'Challa contoued to fight through the never ending horde as he tried to fight his way up the hill.

Black Panther: They do not tire. They do not fear death. Ukhozi Squadron...

Pilot:  Coming back around your highness, thirty seconds.

Black Panther: We don't have thirty seconds! If even one of them gets through, then....

The mage lifted his staff into the air much to T'Challa's horror.

Black Panther: No.

A green light began to surround the mage as T'Challa fought with everything he had to try and stop the mage.

Black Panther: NO!

Mage: To Quoi, I offer my life....

Black Panther: Stop him...now, before he....

Mage: And my soul.

There was a bright flash of green that engulfed the area as the Cotati near where wiped out. T'Challa covered his eyes to avoid being blinded. When he could see again, he saw the massive green portal where the mage once was.

Black Panther: Shuri. The Cotati have opened a gateway in the soil mound. A hole to anywhere. We are in the endgane now.

He held up the blade, ready for anyone else to come through the hole.

Black Panther: I'm going to try to use the Star-Sword to disrupt the portal. Be ready if I can't. They're going to send an army through this...

Suddenly, a blade implied his body. A blade, from the portal.

Swordsman: Yes.

He pulled his sword out of the king and kicked him down the mound.

Swordsman: An army of one. Step back, rabble. Show respect. You are a mere king.

The Swordsman then turned around and kneeled as a second figure appeared.

Swordsman: I serve the messiah.

Quoi stepped out, holding the seed.

Kree-Skrull Alliance Command Ship...

The royal circle stood around as Captain Glory gave his report.

Captain Glory: Satellites confirm, sir. Gateway activity in the heart of Wakanda. The enemy now surly have access to Vibranium enriched soil...

Dorrek: Good. Then they will remain in the trap until it closes, and the Pyre burns the earth to a cinder.

Mur-G'nn looked at her Emperor confused. Why was he acting this way? Why was he saying these things? He was kind, compassionate. Now he was cold, and cruel. She understood that the Cotati were dangerous and needed to be dealt with. She just didn't understand why he was so ready to activate the Pyre when he was so against it.

Her mind then drifted back to you. How kind you were and how you believed in the Emperor. How you were so willing to believe her and trust that Teddy would do the right thing.

Her thoughts were interrupted when a ring of blue magic appeared in the cebter of the room. Everyone turned as a new stranger appeared.

Mur-G'nn: My liege.

Dorrek:...William Kaplan.

Wiccan stood tall as the Emperor turned around.

Dorrek: Earthlings are no longer welcome aboard this ship, William. Leave the way you came, or be escorted out. By my own court magician.

Billy: That's how it is, huh, Teddy?

Dorrek: It's Dorrek VIII, William. Or just "Emperor". I'm not Teddy anymore.

Billy: No. You never were.

More blue magic appeared as you, Timber, Carol, and Johnny were summoned behind him. In front of him, was Teddy. The real Teddy. His face was covered my a metal mask while his hands were bound by chains.

Billy: See? Teddy's right here. My magic brought me right to him. Locked in your brig, in a Skrull inhibitor mask. Just one more nameless POW, alone in a cell.

You smiled as you clenched your fists and readied your lines. You couldn't belive it but, Teddy was replaced. You were all fooled, just as was the hammer. Then again, you all knew the truth. Teddy would never turn his back on Earth or the people in need. He was a hero, just like you.

Teddy: Except for the part where I'm never alone, of course.

He then turned to the inner circle.

Teddy: Hey there, "Royal Guard". You're about to get one heck of a performance review.

Mur-G'nn couldn't believe her eyes. You were back. You were all back. She had been lied to. Tricked into flowing a false figure head.

Super-Skrull: It...It can't be true. I can't have failed him again.

Captain Glory: It's a lie, all right. Worthless trickery. A cheap attempt to besmirch the name of the true Emperor....

Billy: The true Emperor? Any idea who that bad impression of you is, hon?

Teddy: Well, before they ambushed me and stuck this thing on my face,  they looked like Tanalth.

Johnny had already gotten to work at melting the lock to free Teddy.

Johnny: Hold still. I can't quote get this...

Y/N: Tanalth the Kree. She gave Carol her weapon. Stands to reason that she would know how to trick it.

Carol: She also gave me a job. For better or worse. I am the Accuser. And by the ancient law of Hala, you stand accused! Your authority is hereby suspended! You are no longer the ruler of the Kree-Skrull Alliance! And so help me, if you attempt to trigger this...this sun detonating weapon of yours...

The false Teddy simply laughed as he turned around.

Dorrek: Trigger the Pyre, you say? Really, Accuser. What would be the point in doing it twice?

Y/N: Twice? You mean...

Doreek: It's done. The core temperature of the sun is increasing. And behind our photonic shields, we'll get a ringside seat. Such a perfectly dramatic venue for my trial...

His face grew distorted and monstrous as he grew wings and lunged toward your group with his Royal Guard behind him.

Doreek: My trail by combat!

You pulled out your knives as the six of you leaped into battle as well.

Doreek: By the ancient law of Hala, as chieftain of the Kree, I choose to face my Accuser! To forge the truth in the fire of the battle, by the burning earth, and the dead and damned upon it!

Y/N: Over my dead body!

Captain Glory: That shall be arranged!

Wakanda...

Swordsman: No pulse? How strange.

The Swordsman and Quoi stood over the body of T'Challa. Quoi held the seed in his hand as he scoffed.

Quoi: He died of blood loss. It's what animals do. Bleed and die.

Swordsman: The leader of the Avengers, though, Quoi. Seems so...mundane. and once again, I've done what Jacques Duquesne could not....

Quoi: How are the rest of our forces faring, Swordsman?

The Swordsman stood back up and dusted his hands off as he smiled.

Swordsman: Superbly.

Quoi walked over to the mount and began to dig the hole that would house the seed. He smirked as he began to push it into the soil.

Quoi: Excellent. Without their leader, the human animals will be easily cowed. And if the Kree-Skrull Alliance should break the habits of a thousand years and rally together at this last moment, we are ready for them. All across the poisoned globe, our forces hold the enemy at bay. And when the death planted here flowers, as it soon will, we will control all non-sentient life in this galaxy.

The seed began to grow in the soil as Quoi smiled even brighter.

Quoi: I will become a god. A god of the trees. My divine wrath will be all-consuming. And none shall stand against it.

Avengers Mountain...

Reed: I'm getting some interesting satellite data, Tony. From Earth and from the surface of the sun. That's "interesting" as in "interesting times".

Tony: It figures. What's the big news, Reed?

Reed Richards stood there in the new blue and white armor that Tony had crafted. A large 4 was in his chest.

Reed: Well, the bad news is that a Cotati death blossom is definitely flowering in Wakanda. I'd give it...ten minutes to full activation. The worse, is that...if the solar readings are correct, our sun will explode in the next nine.

Tony sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Tony: Nine minutes to save the world twice over.

He then smirked.

Tony: Let's get it done!
