You snapped out of your thoughts and turned back to see Cap looking at you with a raised brow.

Y/N: Sorry. I'm just putting on my recording set up.

Thor: What is that?

Thor. Thor. Avenger.

Y/N: The Leviathan AI in my helmet is connected to my eye. Everything I see, it sees.

Cao: And you Tony?

Tony snapped out of his thoughts and turned back to you all.

Tony: I've got my armor to record mental impressions...

Tony Stark. Ironman. Avenger.

Thor: Another backup copy of yourself Stark?

Y/N: He's probably doing it for the same reason I am. Kinda like a black box. Of this goes badly, people need ro know what we're doing here.

And why. Here you were, 17 years old and on the moon with the Mighty Avengers. Back on Earth, you were an outlaw thanks to the Underage Superhuman Welfare Act aka the Kamala Act. You didn't have your team with you and even if you did, this was bigger than anything you had ever faced. Even when put against the Counter-earth, you never felt this much pressure.

The Kree and Skrull had formed an alliance after a millennia long war. Now, they wished to eliminate the Cotati. All because if some contest that happened a millennia ago. To make matters worse, you had just recovered from your near death injuries after a horrific attack during your last Champions mission.

You were in the Garden. A millennia ago, Hala was home to two sentient species. The Kree; savage, violent, cavemen. And then there were the Cotati, a race of peaceful plant people. The Skrulls, technologically advanced, even then, set up a contest to see who'd best make use of a random moon. Your moon.

In the pocket atmosphere the Skrulls created, the Blue Area, the Kree built a massive city. The Cotati made a garden. They were the clear winners but the Kree didn't like that. This cased one of the greatest space crimes ever. They slaughtered the Cotati.

You snapped out of your thoughts when you felt Timber nuzzle against your leg. You looked down and smiled as you petted him. The reason you were here in the first place was because you had this dream where you saw the slaughter. You had went to talk to Tony Stark about it since he was there as well. You had decided that it was just because you were now somewhat connected to the universe after your premature death.

Y/N: We're a far way from home, aren't we buddy?

Timber nodded as he looked out at the lust garden that now covered the old city. It was haunting beautiful. You looked over to see Jaques talking to She-Hulk. The two dissapeared into the trees before you heard people approaching the four of you.

Tony: Your worship! Is it "your worship"? I'm not quite sure what the formal title is...

Quoi: There is none, Man of Iron.

Quoi aka the Celestial Messiah. A friend of Thor as well. He was the one who would lead to the peace of the universe. Or, so he claims. Honestly, you couldn't make heads or tails with this guy.

Quoi: To others, I am the prophesied one. The Celestial Messiah. But to the Avengers, I am Quoi. Always. The Kree and Skrulls have united to destroy us. To burn this sacred space.

He came to a stop with his guards and smiled.

Quoi: But once again, in our time of need, our greatest allies have united to avenge our sorrow. When this day is done, there will be a place reserved for you here, in our garden. Forever.

He was smiling yet, you couldn't shake the feeling that he meant something else entirely. Just like when you first came here, you felt safe yet you also felt like you were missing something.

Cap: Thank you sir. That means a great deal.

Y/N: We'll do everything we can to earn it.

She-Hulk: So say we all.

Jennifer. She-Hulk. Avenger.

You all turned to see She-Hulk standing there with a new Warhammer.

Thor: Jennifer?

She-Hulk: It's me Thor. Really me. The Rensonance of the amber in this hammer, along with the Cotati meditation techniques, they're helping me focus. Calming the rage inside but keeping the strength and the power.

She was smiling but you noticed the weird glow in her eye.

She-Hulk: Honestly, I haven't felt this alive in years.

Thor: Aye...good.

He seemed off put by her as well. You just shrugged it off since you had never met her before this mission. You turned back to the others when you noticed an alert in your hub. You activated your helmet as Tony looked up at the sky.

Tony: Brace yourselves, everybody. Kree-Skrull war fleet incoming. Visual contact in 3...2...1...

The Cotati survived, and returned. They grew their garden anew, to make the Blue Area green. But no one can have anything nice. The Kree-Skrull had crossed the galaxy to destroy this beautiful place. To burn it to the ground. With how your life has been going, you were looking for something simple. This seemed to be it. The Space Invaders against the Avengers. The Bad Guys against the Good Guys.

You looked up into the sky and watched as the armada appeared overhead with worried eyes.

Carol: Kree-Skrull Fleet, this is Carol Denvers. Caotain Marvel. I may no longer speak for the earth but you all know I never speak lightly. Earth is an Avengers' world. The garden is under our protection. You know what that means. This is your only warning.

Carol Denvers. Captain Marvel. Avenger.

Tony: And if it were me, you weren't even get that. So think carefully about your next...

Your helmet glitches slightly before a familiar face appeared. It was, Reed Richard's of the Fantastic Four.

Reed: Tony? Great Scott. What are you doing here?

Y/N: Uh, why are the Fantastic Four here?

Tony: What am I...? Answer the kid! What are you doing Reed? And is that, Hulkling?

Y/N: Of the Young Avengers? What the hell is going on?

Ben: We're all wondering the same thing kid.

Reed: Ah...not quite, Ben. Given a moment's thought, it's fairly obvious. It's a chicken and egg scenario of sorts.

Y/N: Wait, this doesn't make sense. So, Hulkling was the one who united the Kree and the Skrull?

Reed: A prince taking his throne. But actually, the alliance came first, didn't it?

You could see the entire room where they were and you noticed the green boy sitting on the throne. Beside him were two figures. A Kree, and a Skrull.

Reed: I'm assuming Super Skrull and the Pursuer, the rulers of the old regimes, made the first move.

Y/N: But that can only go so far. Even in peacetime, Kree and Skrull have maintained a state of Cold War.

Reed: To truly bring them together, you'd need a new ruler. One whom both sides pledge alliance to. A figurehead.

Hulkling was silent for a moment.

Hulkling:...That's pretty much it, Dr. Richards. I never wanted to be emperor. But taking the job meant I could save lives. The Kree Civil War was in full swing. Millions dying every day. Until I called a cease fire from the Kree Imperium side. I made that a precondition. So I ended two wars in one day, by holding a sword in the air. I mean, wouldn't you?

You gave it some thought. After seeing what you have over the last two years or so, you understood where he was coming from. With the Champions, you worked to send a message through the world that you were there for them and that anyone could be a hero. What would Kamala say if she was here?

Thor: And what of the Cotati's lives boy? Your armada comes to murder them all...

Hulkling: They'll have a chance to surrender. But that garden is a threat to the well being of the galaxy...

Cap: Who on earth told you that son?

Hulkling:...The Suoer Skrull and Tanalth. And yes, I know how bad that sounds. But, on this...I trust them completely.

Tony: Are you really that naive kid? Dear God, do you really don't see what's happening here?

Y/N: You think they accepted you because you held a sword up? These are warrior races. You have to be seen using it! This is just some bad P.R. stunt! An easy target to cement their alliance! A blood sacrifice and its on your hands!

Hulkling: No. That's...That's not what this is...

Sue: Reed, what's your take on this?

Reed: I'm not sure.

You watched as Carol, Black Panter, Jacques, She-Hulk, and Ghost Rider got on the Quinjet while you stayed back with Cap, Thor, and Ironman.

Ironman: I'm sure you screwed up kid. But don't worry, the Avengers are going to save you. Just stay out of our way. Ghost Rider? You at the Quinjet controls?

You watched as the jet took off.

Ghost Rider: Pedal to the metal, Mr. Stark.

The quinjet suddenly burst into flames as it flew toward the main ship.

Ghost Rider: Ghost Quinjet. Nobody freak out.

You watched it fly away while Reed tried to convince Hulkling to stop this.

Reed: Teddy, you can still end this. We can work through the problem together.

Ben: So ya got suckered. It happens. We all make mistakes...

Super Skrull: The mistake is yours! Do not let them sway you, my liege! For all I've wronged you, I would never lie to you. I have always your best interests at heart.

Sue: And I bet you'll even believe that, don't you? Stand down Kl'Rt. That's the only warning you'll get from me.

Ben: C'mon kid. I'll let ya say "It's clobbering time". You really want to be a figurehead for these schmucks?

You could tell Hulkling was conflicted. This was a huge deal after all.

Hulkling: No. No, I think I can do better.

He pulled out his sword and cle ched his fists.

Hulkling: Super Skrull, Captain Glory, take Battlefield Command! Hold off the Avengers but no enemy casualties! The rest of you, we make our stand here!

Sue turned around and created a field around the two men.

Sue: Oh, no. We're all staying here. Thank you very much. Staying here and talking this through like civilized...

The two men suddenly start to vanish.

Sue: Adults...what?

Mur-G'nn: Illusion spell, Mrs. Storm Richards. Kl'Rt and Gla-Ree are already out of the airlock.

The witch smirked as Ben turned to try and reason with Hulkling.

Ben: So that's how it is, huh? You like the taste a' power?

Hulkling: Hardly Mr. Grimm. But you clearly won't listen to us. And we honestly have time to convince you. So I guess, it's clobbering time.

Well, so much for that. You watched as the Quinjet zoomed through the skies with Ghost Rider's penance stare blasted the attacking ships. You clenched your fists. If this was any other time, you would be so excited to be working with the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards was one of you idols just like Hank Pym and Tony Stark. This, was wrong.

You shook your head a bit and looked back to where Quoi was. You used your eye to scan him but nothing turned up. Why were you so wary of him? What was going on here? What was really going on here? You couldn't helo but feel like something was wrong.

Y/N: Tony, I'm going to the main ship.

Tony: What?

Y/N: Timber can teleport me up there. We need eyes on the inside. If things get too hectic, I'll come back.

Cap: It would be better than him just standing here.

Tony seemed hesitant. You placed a hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: The universe brought me here. I have to help.

Tony sighed in his helmet before nodding.

Tony: Fine. Go. Come back before Thor throws his hammer.

You nodded and turned back to Timber. In a blink of an eye, you were in the control room with the Fantastic Four and Hulkling.

Reed: Who...

Y/N: Just call me Leviathan. I'm the one with the Avengers.

They didn't question it. You looked around the room and saw that you were completely surrounded by Kree and Skrull. Everyone leaped in to attack and you joined in. While Ben was fighting Hulkling, Sue was against Tanalth. You and Johnny got to work in restraining the soldiers with Reed. You released a line and leaped on a wall before pulling. Four soldiers walked right into it allowing you to leap behind them and trap them. You activated the taser which shocked the Skrulls before letting go. You shot out a line and pulled yourself across the room, landing a kick to another soldier, before turning back to Sue.

You watched as Tanalth lifted her hammer. You shot out four lines and pulled the hammer away which left her open for an attack by Sue. You quickly leaped away when a blast of energy came barreling towards you.

Mur-G'nn: An Avenger with no powers. You are but a boy as well.

You narrowed your eyes at her behind your helmet.

Y/N: Then getting your ass kicked will be much more humiliating.

You leaped towards her and tired to deliver a kick but she was quick to blast you away. You recovered and Timber jumped on her back before biting down on her shoulder. You shot out your two lines which stabbed into the wall behind her. You whistled for Timber to jump down before you pulled yourself toward Mur-G'nn. You slammed your feet into her chest which launched her over the panels and down into the room below.

You flipped up and shot out another line to get back into the action.

Tony: Time to come back kid.

Y/N: On it.

You landed and turned back to Timber who got the message. You teleported back to the Blue Area where the three were watching the battle overhead.

Thor: Am I truly needed here more than out there?

Cap: Our aim here is to end this fight, with minimum loss of life, Thor. Tony's plan is the best hope for that.

Y/N: Trust me, Thor. This will work.

Thor: Still. The Avengers surely require Mjolnir's might to aid them...

Tony: We surely do Thor.

Tony held up a red and yellow ring shape device which he attached to Thor's hammer.

Tony: Swing for the fences big guy.

Thor grinned as he turned back to the main ship. He began to spin it causing a burst of electricity to surround him.

Thor: So be it. If this boy would play the king, tis the role the thunder God has also learned of late! Let us see who wears the crown better! Let the storm strike, let the hammer fly!

And with that, he threw it. That's the thing about Mjolnir. It looks like a shiny block on a stick, but it soars like a symphony. Like an angel in some poet's dream. Like magic and wonder. However, you don't get so excited about magic anymore. After everything you had seen, it was just magic. Even as Hulkling lifted his blade to block the attack, you weren't particularly amazed.

Tony: Cool beans. Activate phase two.

He typed on his wrist as you stared at the ship. You decided that you would question things like you used to. You were a man of science but you knew there was more out there than what science could explain. You had met the creator of everything who brought you back to life. You have fought alongside God's and traveled to other planets. You knew better than to question how Thor's hammer worked. You just knew it did.

It makes for a perfect delivery system for Stark's latest on-the-spot invention. A remote viral package that'll breach Kree and Skrull firewalls. You knew that this wasn't their first rodeo, even if it was for you, so you knew that Tony knew their systems. The plan was to make the crowd go boom. And they did.

In three seconds, every ship will suffer from a critical enegine overload. They're alive, but marooned. Helpless. Sometimes, you just needed to make your own magic. You looked back behind you and saw Quoi watching this, with a smile. The same smile that sent chills up your spine.

Y/N: Guys, I think we messed up.

The three looked at you.

Thor: That plan worked, did it not?

Y/N: No, it's not that. I didn't say anytging earlier because I wanted to give Quoi the benefit of the doubt, but something about him doesn't sit right with me.

Thor: I watched the boy grow. He is a friend of the Avengers.

You shook your head.

Y/N: I'm not questioning that. Just, a lot of things don't add up now that I have time to think about it. For starters, that message you and Carol found.

Tony: Fear the trees?

Y/N: That can't just be something that was random. There has to be something more to it. On top of that, unlike with Quoi, I felt the sincereness when Super Skrull told Hulkling that he had his best interests at heart. And, this may sound weird, but after Jennifer got her hammer, she was different.

Cap: I'm sure you're just thinking too much about this kid. When did you sleep last?

Y/N:...since we got here.

Thor: Aye. You must need rest. Come along, we can find you a nice place to lay do...

Quoi: We are the Avengers now!

You snapped your head up and the four of you turned back to the cliff where Quoi was. He was no longer in his Messiah wear but now had war paint and looked ready for battle. Why? The fight was over. The Kree and Skrulls couldn't fight...back.

Y/N: No.

That thing on the hill, the flower that was once closed but now was blooming, was boosting Quoi's control over plant life! Those ships have stored food, oxygen factories, vegetation carried in the soil of soldier's boots, and Quoi is controlling them all.

Cap: Tony...

Tony: Steve I...I did't know.

Y/N: This can't be, happening.

Ghost Rider: The Kree, the Skrulls, I feel them! I can feel them dying!

You watched as vines began to over take the ships. The soldiers who were fighting outside, were suddenly being strangled and implied by vines from even the smallest speck of dirt.

Black Panther: What have we done.

What, what have you done? What have you done?!

Sue: Reed!

Inside the ship, Ben and Reed were also suffering the affects from the attack. You clenched your fists as you turned back to where Quoi was standing.

Quoi: Let all the animal worlds fall, and the Cotati rise anew! Masters of the Cosmos, as they should always have been! For here, we plant the seeds of the Empyrean!

He raised his blade into the sky.

Quoi: On this planet, we begin our Empyre!

And you helped him make this dream come true.
