Y/N: I really don't like to be blindfolded.

Viv: Are you prepared for the unpreparedness?

Viv Vision. Vision's daughter. Champion.

Right now you were standing with Sam and Miles in a park location while the three of you were blindfolded by the other full time Champions.

Nova: What does that mean exactly, Viv?

Sam Alexander. Nova. Space dude. Champion.

Ms. Marvel: While you three had been off doing your own thing, we were working on a surpise.

Kamala Khan. Inhuman. Ms. Marvel. Leaded of the Champions.

Spider-Man: My Spider-Senes isn't going off so I'm assuming it's safe.

Miles Morales. Spider-Man. Champion.

Hulk: Wasp, cue the drum roll.

Amadeus Cho. Eighth smartest person in the world. Hulk. Champion.

Wasp: One sec.

Nadia Pym. Y/N's girlfriend. Genius. Wasp. Champion and Avenger.

Nadia skipped over to you and used your hand to activate the mouth oiece of your helmet before kissing you.

Wasp: Ok. Bidda BiddaBiddaBidda TA DA!

Your blindfold was taken off along with the others and you looked at the surpise in front of you.

Y/N: Uh...

Nova: oh wow.

Parked in the park was a giant blue ship with the Champions logo on the side.

Wasp: This is our new base! Champions Mobile HQ!

Hulk: It's a transport, clubhouse, rescue vehicle. Built for wherever we go wherever we're needed and save people all over the world.

Y/N: Wait. What happened to our old base?

Everyone looked at you confused.

Y/N: What?

Ms. Marvel: You don't remember it getting blown to bits?

You gave it some thought.

Y/N: When did this happen?

Spider-Man: Bout three weeks ago.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: No clue. Must've been busy. Wait, NO!

You dropped your knees.

Y/N: MY PLAYSTATION!

Wasp: Watch your step. I know it's a bit cramp but we had to economize space. It's like a super submarine.

Spider-Man: Yeah.

Nadia and Viv where walking you, Miles, and Sam through the new base.

Wasp: This is Ms. Marvel's room.

Looked normal.

Wasp: Amadeus' room.

Looked messy.

Wasp: Viv's room.

Completely empty.

Wasp: My room.

Had a GIRL logo.

Wasp: Riri's room.

Couldn't go in.

Wasp: A shared room for Sam and Miles.

Nova: Shared?

Viv: Amadeus' original plans did not include a bathroom. I do bkt mind but the others felt it was important.

Nova: Gotcha. Top!

Spider-Man: Boo.

Wasp: And finally, Y/N's room.

It was a space exactly like the rest save for a plain bed.

Y/N: And I am now back to having three beds.

Wasp: Not that you ever use them.

You kissed her cheek.

Y/N: True.

Your watch went off and you looked down to see an alert.

Y/N: Huh. Haven't had one of those in a while.

You checked your watch for a moment before your eyes went wide.

Wasp: What's the matter?

You quickly hid your watch from her and the others.

Y/N: Uh, nothing!

You activated your helmet so your face was fully covered again as you pushed pass them.

Y/N: I have to go!

Ms. Marvel: But we're about to have a team meeting.

Y/N: Sorry but this is important!

You ran out of the base and shot out line at a nearby building before taking off. Everyone walked outside and watched as you swung away.

Nova: That was weird. What's up with him?

Everyone looked to Nadia who was just as confused.

Nadia: I, I have no idea.

You swung through the city before you activated your boots and ran along the side of the buildings. You looked back down at your watch and smirked. The White Stranger was spotted again.

You landed at the warehouses near the harbor where you got the ping. You landed on a nearby roof and looked down. Looks like Hailey's drones were right. The White Stranger was here. So were a bunch of his thugs.

Y/N: Time for a rematch you son of a bitch.

Yku seung down and landed behind a pile of crates. You looked around and saw all the thugs moving around.

Y/N: So these guys had something to do with those stolen Pym weapons.

???: Indeed.

You turned around and saw the White Stranger standing behind you. You stood up and clenched your fists ready for a fight but he raised a hand to stop you.

???: I don't wish to fight just yet. I believe we are overdue for a discussion.

Y/N: Bull! Who are you and what are you planning?!

The man looked uo at the men before turning away and walking back into the building. He stopped in the entrance and looked at you over his shoulder.

???: Are you coming?

You hesitated before you followed him. You weren't broken like last time. You'll hold your own if you need to. The stranger lead you to an office space where he sat down on at his desk.

Y/N: What's this about?

???: You asked me two questions just a moment ago. You wanted to know my identity and the reasons for doing what I do. I shall answer them but you must sit down.

You looked at the empty chair.

???: Sit. Now.

You bit the bullet and sat down. The man folded his hands and looked at you.

???: For who I am, they call me the Doctor. I, fix things. You see Leviathan, the world is sick. It is dying. As for what I am doing, well, I'm curing the disease.

Y/N: Don't tell me you're one of those eco-terrorists.

Doctor: Not at all. Quite the opposite really. You see my boy, I have lived a very long time. I have seen many things throughout history that many could never believe.

You raised your brow. The hell was he on about.

Doctor: Long ago, centuries ago, I was a normal man much like yourself. My name has been lost through the ages and I can't seem to recall it. Regardless, I have lived through countless lives. I have seen countless civilizations rise, and fall.

Y/N: Are you saying you're immortal?

Doctor: Put simply, yes.

Y/N: How is that possible. Even people with healing factors can be killed.

Doctor: I am not one of these people. I am not a mutation. I am not one of those mutants. I am a normal human being who had been blessed with a curse.

You silently ran questions through your helmet to try and find any traces of someone known as the Doctor who dressed in all white. Nothing came up. Who was this guy?

Doctor: You see, like you, I am a man of science. At least, I used to be. One day many years ago, I made a discovery that forever changed my life.

Y/N: A discovery?

Doctor: Indeed. One that many would spend their entire lives looking for. I found it by complete accident.

Y/N: Why don't you stop beating around the bush and tell me what the hell you're talking about?!

The Doctor sighed.

Doctor: Kids these days. Very well.

The doctor slowly unbuttoned his shirt as he spoke.

Doctor: Centuries ago, there was a civilization. This civilization was built upon the backs of the weak, the poor, the slaves. I was one of these people. My true name hasomg since left my memories but that does not matter. You see, I was a slave to the masters who controlled us. I watched many men, women, and children die at their hands. I had became determined to not be one of them.

He stopped unbuttoning his shirt and leaned forward.

Doctor: So I ran. I ran for 30 days and 30 nights from my captors. On the last day, I fell. I thought it was God punishing me for running. That he had abandoned me. Once I awoke, I realized that he had saved me. I ended up in a forgotten tomb where I found the secret to immortality.

He slowly opened his shirt to reveal his chest.

Doctor: I found, the Philosopher's Stone.

Your eyes widened when you saw a red jewel embedded in his chest. It seemed to be pulsing like a beating heart.

Y/N: I-Impossible.

Doctor: No my boy. This is true science. I have lived for hundreds of thousands of years!

You stood up and backed up from the mad man.

Y/N: Why are you even telling me all this? I thought I was your enemy!

Doctor: You are! However, you are so much more to me. When I saw you for the first time, I realized that you will be the one to put an end to my curse! You will be the one to rid me of this painful existence!

He threw the desk aside as he slowly approached you.

Doctor: You see boy, our destinies are intertwined! More than you will ever know!

You grabbed the chair and swung it around so you could break it over his head. You then leaped backwards through the glass window and into the empty space of the warehouse.

Doctor: Foolish boy! Didn't you hear me?

The Doctor stepped through the window completely unharmed.

Doctor: You must kill me. Now, fight like you mean it.

He charged at you but you leaped out of the way and threw a knife. The knife stabbed into his shoulder but he didn't even flinch. He simply looked at your knife before he pulled it out. His white coat was now stained in blood.

Doctor: Is that all?

Y/N: Shit.

The Doctor threw your knife back but you dodged it. You swung around the room before you stuck yourself against a beam from above.

Doctor: The technology today is quite impressive. Truly a marvel compared to what once was!

The man leaped right to you and backhanded you off the beam. You slammed on to the ground and felt your i juries from a week start to sting.

Y/N: Not now.

You got back up but the man tackled you threw the wall and into the next room. You slid across the floor as the Doctor watched. You pushed yourself back up and noticed all the cages around you. Most were empty while there was one with something in it. It looked big, and pissed.

Y/N: Looks like I need some help.

You threw your knife back and it hit the lock which opened the cage. From the small space, came an angry animal. A wolf.

Doctor: Oh. The runt. I thought we had executed him. Oh well.

The wolf growled before it leaped at the man. The Doctor simply allowed the wolf to bite down on his arm. You watched as the wolf tore it right off his body but the Doctor didn't even more. He simply looked down at his wound.

You watched in horror as his arm slowly grew back from bone, muscle, nerves, and skin. He flexed his hand before he turned back to you.

Doctor: Do you understand now?

You gritted your teeth before you shot a line right through his shoulder. You reeled it in and delivered a kick to the man's head when he was close enough. You pulled out three knives and threw them at the man as he fell to the floor. He slowly picked himself back up and looked at you and the wolf.

Doctor: Hmm. A lone wolf, and a bastard.

Y/N: You don't know anything about my family!

The Doctor laughed under his mask.

Doctor: I know more than you know boy. For example, that sister of yours is in a wheelchair.

Your eyes grew wide. He knew about Hailey. That must mean he knew who you were as well.

Doctor: I know your mother raised the two of you alone. At the age of 10, you got your first science kit. You were tested at a young age after you solved one of the three impossible equations. On a side note, I have solved all three. It was revealed that you have an IQ that far surpassed Reed Richards. It's a secret that you keep guarded close to you.

How did he know all this? Did that mean...

Doctor: You are in fact, the second smartest person in the world. You hide this intelligence out of fear that it will ultimately bring your father out of hiding.

Y/N: How do you know this?

Doctor: I know many things. Like I had said. When I first saw you, I knew you would be the one to kill me. I had perfectly molded you to be able to do so.

What?

Doctor: The man who shot your sister, the Winter Soldier, was sent by me. He was supposed to kill your mother but it seemed she had already started training you. I knew she was the Leviathan but I did not think she would pass the mantle onto you.

Y/N: Who are you. For real?!

The man laughed as he slowly reached for his mask.

Doctor: Oh, poor boy. Don't you even recognize...

The man took off his mask and your eyes widened in horror.

Doctor: Your own father?

The man standing there, with E/C eyes, was the father of you and your sister.

Y/N: N-No way.

Doctor: Indeed. Now, if you will excuse me, I think we had done enough for today. I have to get a new coat thanks to that barbaric beast.

The wolf growled.

Doctor: Until next time. I do hope you will not disappoint me again.

The man started to walk out but you got up to stop him. The man simply threw a device at you which tied your feet together. You fell to the ground and were forced to watch your father leave.

Y/N: Get back here! I'm going to make you pay for everything you bastard!

The man sinply closed the door as you tried to frantically break the device. You struggled for a moment before you were free. You jumped uo and rushed outside, only to find everything completely gone.

Y/N: No. Damnit!

You punched a nearby wall in anger before you sat on the ground. You held your head and cursed under your breath. That man, your father, wanted you to kill him. He sent a man to kill your mother and is the reason Hailey is bound to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

You felt your knee get nudged by something and you looked up to see the wolf from before. It sat next to you and looked at you as if it was waiting for an order.

Y/N: Hey.

The wolf made a noise in response.

Y/N: You can keep a secret right?

The wolf nodded.

Y/N: Good. You can't tell anyone what the man said. Alright?

The wolf nodded again. You looked at it curiously.

Y/N: Can you actually understand me?

The wolf nodded. You reached out and started to pet it.

Y/N: So, I guess you don't have a home?

The wolf shook its head.

Y/N: Alright then. I guess you're with me.

The wolf stood uo as you pulled yourself back up to your feet. You looked down at the wolf.

Y/N: You have a name?

The wolf shook its head.

Y/N: Alright. I guess I can give you one later. Come on. We need to go home.

The wolf nodded and followed you as you walked through the empty lot.

Mom: Your father?

Hailey: Dad?

You nodded. You had just told them everything you had learned the last hour. The wolf sat on the floor next to you as you sat on the couch. Hailey covered her mouth at the news while your mom stared at the table in disbelief.

Mom: I, I knew who he was. That he was immortal. When he left I had made the choice to hide that from you both. I'm sorry.

Y/N: Don't blame yourself. You couldn't have known. He wants me anyway. He wants me to be the one to kill him. I think, I can get Janet to call in the Avengers to take care of you two. T-To protect you guys while I look for him.

Hailey: We don't need protection. If he wanted us dead he would've done it by now...

Y/N: He already tried! He's the reason you're paralyzed Hailey! He sent the silver armed man!

Mom: Yet she isn't dead. Did you forget who I am?

Y/N: I'm not saying you can't protect yourself. I know you can but the Avengers or the Champions can....

Mom: No. And that is final. If trouble comes here, I will take care of it.

You looked at your mom. You weren't going to win this. If your mom chose this, then you'll have to leave it.

Y/N: Fine. But Timber is staying here.

Hailey: Who's Timber?

Y/N: The wolf.

The wolf nodded.

Mom: You named him Timber, after GI Joe?

Y/N: The fact you get the reference tells me where I got my nerdiness from.

You stood up and grabbed your helmet.

Hailey: Where are you going?

Y/N: Back on patrol. Just cause I had this bomb dropped on me, doesn't mean bad guys will just sit around and wait.

Your mom smiled as she looked at you.

Mom: Be safe. If you're not coming home tonight, send me a text alright?

You nodded.

Y/N: Yeah. Okay.

You opened the window and shot out a line. You looked back at them as you put on your helmet.

Y/N: Please stay safe.

You then swung out the window.

You sat on the edge of the abandoned building that over looked the water as the sun set. You wondered what was going to happen in the coming days. A war? A fight to the death? What about your friends? Your girlfriend? Your family?

You missed the days where you fought common street thugs.

Your phone started to ring and you answered it without even looking at the caller ID.

Y/N: Hey.

Nadia: Y/N?

Y/N: This is he.

Nadia: You sound, really bad. What happened? This morning you rushed off and everyone started to worry a bit and....

Y/N: I'm fine.

Of course you lied. You didn't exactly like the idea of lying to your girlfriend but you did. Why? Because she didn't need to be a part of this. No one else did. This was your personal problem and you weren't going to drag anyone else in it.

Nadia: You don't sound fine.

Y/N: I'm, I'm just tired. Did you need something?

Nadia was silent for a moment.

Nadia: Yeah. I, uh, had my first session with the doctor today. After the mission we went on. We got a new member. Her name is Snowguard.

Y/N: How did the session go?

Nadia: Great! We talked about a bunch of stuff and, I'm having a birthday party tomorrow.

Y/N: You're birthday is tomorrow?

Nadia: Well, I don't know exactly. I never celebrated it before. Red Room didn't like that stuff. The doctor said that I should do stuff like that. So, yeah. Birthday party tomorrow.

Y/N: That's cool.

Nadia: Yeah! I was wondering if you wanted to come? Cause you're my boyfriend and everything.

You gave it some thought. Really, you should go. Like she said, you were her boyfriend. Plus it would be a good distraction.

Y/N: Sure. I'm going to head to the lab now if you want to talk more about it there.

Nadia: Oh! I just got a new tea today. We can drink it together.

You smiled under your helmet.

Y/N: Yeah. That'd be nice.

Suddenly you heard something behind you. You turned around and watched as Timber suddenly appeared.

Y/N: You can teleport?!

Timber nodded.

Nadia: What?

Y/N: Uh, just talking to, uh, Timber.

Nadia: Who's Timber?

You smiled a bit as you petted the wolf.

Y/N: Why don't I introduce you?
