You jumped off the roof and landed on the table where your gear was. You threw it on and quickly rushed through the halls. You stopped when you saw a group of men attacking the building. AIM! You shot out a line and swung into action by grabbing one of their collars and throwing him down the hall.

Y/N: You broke into the wrong lab!

You landed on one of the men before punching another. You looked around and spotted Seeker walking away with Shay as a hostage.

Y/N: I thought they were going go some wrestling thing! The hell is she doing here?!

One of the men tried to hit you but you caught his wrist and trapped his arm with yours. You aimed his blaster at another soldier and blasted him before snapping the man's arm. You knocked him out and rushed towards the staircase where Seeker took Shay.

Y/N: I'm just about done with bad guys randomly attacking. Can't they make a schedule or something?!

You pushed the door open and shot out a line that allowed you to grapple up the stairs quickly.

Seeker: Listen Lashayla, I don't want to hurt you. Your portal tech is too dangerous to be here and I need you go show me how to use it.

Shay: Not likely.

Seeker then poped out a blade from her wrist and held it to Shay's neck.

Seeker: You've got two options. Either you come with me willingly and I explain all this to you later, or or I hit you with tranquilizer darts and carry you out. I don't know your medical history so I'd rather stick with the first one.

You landed in front of Seeker and Shay and pulled out a knife.

Y/N: And I'd rather not have to hit a girl but you're making it really hard not to.

Seeker: Ah. The Wasp's boyfriend.

Your eye twitched.

Y/N: I was Leviathan long before I even knew Nadia.

Shay: But, you didn't deny it.

Y/N: YOU HAVE BIGGER ISSUES SISTER!

Ying: Excuse me.

You looked behind the two girls and saw Ying walking uo the stairs pass unconscious, you hoped, AIM soldiers.

Ying: I'm not very good at quips but I'm a highly trained assassin and you are kidnapping my girlfriend.

Y/N: So they are dating.

Ying: Unlike Mr. Leviathan, I have no problem hitting other girls. I'm going to injure you now, but you have a choice about just how much.

Shay: She called me her girlfriend.

Y/N: This girl does realize she's in a lot of danger right now, right?

Seeker: Stay back! Both of you! I don't want to hurt anybody!

Y/N: You broke into a civilian lab and yet you don't want to hurt anybody? Poor taste, Amber.

Seeker: Look, I know you think you're on the right side but something terrible is coming.

Ying: I've lived through terrible things before.

Seeker: You can't trust Nadia or this lab. Come with me and....

She suddenly let go of Shay as she slammed against the wall after you kicked her in the head.

Y/N: Stop shooting your mouth off and stop pushing your shit!

Shay quickly pushed a button on Amber's armor which activated her jetpack and sent her flying up.

Seeker: What are you doing?!

Shay: Getting you out of my lab!

You watched her dissapear before you turned back to Ying.

Y/N: Where's my sister?!

The girls looked at you confused.

Ying: Your, sister?

Y/N: Haiely!

Shay and Ying looked at you as they pieced it together.

Shay: Y/N?

Ying: She's with Poundcakes and Letha.

You gritted your teeth and jumped on the wall. You started to run up by jumped from railing to railing.

Shay: Where are you going?!

Y/N: To stop Amber!

You raced to the top before you made it to the door. You kicked it open and found Janet and Bobbi already there along with Seeker and four other women. You recognized one as Priya.

Seeker: Shoot! We have real Avengers here!

Finesse: I'll take Mocki...

Seeker: Save it Finesse. Brilliance, give them something to distract them.

Brilliance: Yes ma'am!

She reached back on her belt and pulled out a glass pallet that had some kind of green liquid inside.

Brilliance: Everybody better get on the zeppelin quick!

She then threw the pallet to the ground.

Brilliance: Go go Gooey Gary!

Bobbi: No you don't...

Bobbi hit the pallet with her stick but it only opened it up and a mess of green goo hit the floor.

Bobbi: What was that supposed to...

Goo: RAAAAAGH!

The goo grew and transformed into a monstrous form.

Y/N: Son of a....

Bobbi: I think is is going to get really...

Janet: Look out!

The monster shot out three streams of goo at the three of you which aent you all flying off the building. Janet grew her wings and flew down to save you and Bobbi.

Bobbi: This is going to hurt!

Y/N: No shit sherlock!

Janet grabbed the two of you by your wrists.

Janet: Now if I can just adjust so we don't...

Y/N: Tree!

The three of you went crashing through the tree below before you hit the ground. The injuries from before stung greatly and you felt even weaker than before.

Janet: Everyone ok?

Y/N: I can't, move.

Bobbi: I think my leg's broken. I'm still alive. Have I told you how much I love you lately Jan?

Janet: Love you to Bobbi. And I think my shoulder is dislocated. Did Priya just run into that airship with those girls?

Y/N: So that was her? The hell is going on?

Janet and Bobbi looked at you and suddenly grew worried.

Bobbi: Is that blood?

You slowly lifted you hand up and felt the blood dripping from your helmet. You rolled over and slowly took it off. The girls looked at horror at the sight of the cut above your eye. You kept your left eye close to keep the blood out as even more poured from your mouth.

Y/N: This is the second time I got my ass kicked today. I think some of my cuts started bleeding again.

Janet: What happened kid?

Y/N: Some guy, dressed in white, car crash.

Bobbi: Jesus kid! You need to go to a hospital.

Y/N: I'm fine. I'll be...

You groaned before you threw up blood all over the grass below. You fell over and Janet rushed over to you.

Janet: CALL AN AMBULANCE!

Englewood Hospital and Medical Center...

You were taken out if the ambulance, still stripped to the stretcher, as the EMTs were quick to work. You looked over and saw Nadia who looked utterly defeated.

Y/N: Nadia...

Nadia hopped out of the ambulance and walked right past everyone. The EMTs rushed you inside but you gkt to see the damage done. Everyone was defeated. Hailey was safe from the attack and was promptly taken home where she was safe. You were fading in and out of consciousness as you were worked on. Finally, you slept. You slept longer than you had before. When you woke up, you found youself alone in your room.

Y/N: I really need to do that more.

You slowly sat up, completely sore, and looked out the window. It was daytime now. How long were you asleep for? You looked over to the chair and realized you weren't alone.

Y/N: Nadia?

Nadia looked up from her clipboard and smiled.

Nadia: You're finally awake!

She rushed over to you.

Y/N: I'm ok. How are the others?

Nadia shook her head.

Nadia: I don't know. I've been working on tracking down AIM.

You grew a bit worried when you saw how sick she looked.

Y/N: Nadia....

Nadia: Now that you're awake, I need go back to the lab. I have work to do.

She stood up and started to leave.

Y/N: Wait up! I'll go with you.

Nadia: You're hurt...

Y/N: But I can still help. Just give me sec to...

Nadia: I don't have a second. I need to go.

She left without another word. You quickly got out of bed, once again in pain, and quickly got dressed. You then rushed out as you pulled on your jacket. You ran down the hall and almost bumped into Janet.

Janet: Y/N?! What are you doing out of bed?

Y/N: It's Nadia.

Janet: What about...

Y/N: I'll worry about it. Take care of the others.

You left without saying anything else. Whatever was wrong with Nadia, it was serious.

Pym Laboratories....

You opened the door to GIRL Labs and looked around. It was a mess from the attack but still functional. It was 2:00 AM meaning almost an entire day went by since the attack. 24 hours since you got the greatest beatdown of your life.

You finally spotted Nadia looking at a chalk board. She was just staring at it blankly. You noticed she was wearing the same clothes she was wearing from the night before at the wrestling event. She was also recording herself.

Nadia: Audio journals of Nadia Van Dyne. I was at the hospital and I had an idea. I haven't had a good idea in weeks, so I had to come to the lab.

You looked at her worried.

Nadia: The place is a bit of a mess thanks to the attack, but that's just one of the many things I need to solve. And tonight, I feel like I can solve everything. I'm going to solve everything.

Y/N: What is she talking about?

Nadia: First thing on the list is "make something amazing for the exhibition".

She wrote it down on the board with a smile.

Nadia: Secind thing is "track down AIM". Thir thing is to "fix everyone".

Y/N: Fix, everyone?

Nadia: Now what do I need to accomplish these things? One: Good ideas for inventions. Check. Two: Security Footage. I know where to get that. Three: Knowledge of everybody's weak points. No sweat.

Y/N: Nadia?

Nadia looked up and spotted you.

Nadia: What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be resting at the hospital?

Y/N: That's not the problem here. What the hell are you on about? What did you mean by "fixing" everyone?

Nadia: Everyone is broken and I'm going to fix them. That means you to.

You flinched at her words.

Y/N: What?

Nadia: Yeah. We'll get to that after I get the footage from Poundcakes.

Y/N: Na...

Nadia rushed past you and you followed. You both ended up in the security room where Poundcakes and Letha were watching the screens.

Nadia: Hey security ladies. How's it going?

Poundcakes: Nadia? Y/N? I thought you two were at the hospital.

Letha: Does Janet know you're here?

Nadia: Yep. So what have you found?

You looked at her shocked. How could she just lie so easily?

Letha: Nothing. No evidence they were ever here.

Nadia leaned on the panel next to Poundcakes and looked at the screen.

Y/N: Nadia. You should...

Nadia: Tell me more Poundcakes.

Poundcakes: So, the only people on the tapes are the girls and Y/N. They come and go. Their rooms, the halls, the elevator.

Nadia: Let me see.

Letha: What are you looking for?

Y/N: Yeah. What are you trying to accomplish here Nadia?

Nadia: I'll tell you when I...where are the camera in their rooms Letha?

Y/N: They're aren't any. Cameras in our rooms is a serious problem since we're minors.

Nadia: That'll be the first thing to change. We need to stay safe. I'll add it to my list.

Poundcakes: Nadia, are you ok?

Y/N: Seriously. What's going on with you Nadia? It's like you're on complete auto pilot. You're not thinking straight.

Nadia: I'm great! It's just that things need to be fix and I'm the only one who can do it. And I have to....there!

She pointed at the screen and you caught it. It looped.

Nadia: Pyria left her room and walked down the hall. The it loops back and she's back in her lab!

Y/N: That's right. I did she her get on the blimp with the other AIM agents.

Letha: You're saying Pyria did it? We have to...

Nadia: Nononononono! Don't tell anyone. There's more going on here. Sit on it. Look more.

She then turned around started to leave.

Nadia: I'm gonna figure this out. Let me know if you have anything else.

She left the room and you followed.

Y/N: Nadia. Stop a moment and listen. You're acting weird. You're not thinking rationally!

Nadia stopped and grabbed you by the collar before pulling you down.

Nadia: I'm fine sweetie. See? Perfect.

She kissed your cheek and let go before she entered the lab.

Y/N: This, isn't good.

You rushed to catch up as Nadia added to the list. You looked at what she had written and felt a chill go up your spine.

Y/N- Restless, Tired, Breaking

Y/N: What the hell? What is this Nadia?

Nadia: A list of things that I need to fix.

Y/N: And why are your friends up there?! The hell is this list?

Nadia: Your weak points. You, for example, have insomnia and you never take time to rest. That will eventually wear you down and you will ultimately shut down.

Y/N: And you think you need fo fix that? That's not something you can fix Nadia. That's my own problem to fix and I'm already working on....

Nadia: Nonsense! You're my boyfriend now so I need to be able to help you! That means I should be able to fix you.

You looked at her hurt. Did, did she really think you needed to be fixed? Sure, you had a problem with not resting properly but it wasn't as bad as she must think. And what did she mean by breaking? It was like you were some toy.

Nadia: It'll be ok. I can fix all of this.

She rushed out of the room as you looked at the board. You slowly walked to it and stared at your name. Restless, tired, breaking. Breaking. Breaking. Breaking.

You reached out and touched the board. Breaking. Breaking. Broke. You felt tears form in your eyes. You weren't breaking. You were already there. Your body was about to give in and you had almost entirely alienated yourself from your family by focusing on your hero work.

You dropped to your knees, wiping your name in the process. Your hand stayed on the bottom of the board as you stared at the floor.

Y/N: Broken. Broken. I'm, I'm, damnit.

Your arm dropped as the door opened again.

Nadia: I found a radio! See, this just like when Ying was using a remote control to track the creatures she was using to attack me. Maybe we can track the source and...

Y/N: I'm broken.

Nadia looked up and saw you. She set the radio down and walked over so she could hug you from behind.

Nadia: Shh. It'll be ok. I'm going to fix everything.

You shook your head.

Y/N: Nadia, you can't do this. Think about the others. What would they think if they saw this?!

Nadia: They would be thankful.

She let go after kissing your cheek again. She started writing on the board again.

Nadia: This is good. This is really good. Sometimes I miss being in the Red Room and just solving problems all day.

She started writing ideas for her friend's problems before you fell over from exhaustion.

You opened your eyes and saw Nadia staring at the board. You sat up from the couch she must've put you on and looked around. She must've been working nonstop for a while now. Empty energy drinks, papers littered around, machines running.

Y/N: How long was I...

Nadia: nearly 24 hours. I injected you with a sleeping serum.

Y/N: You what?!

Nadia: You needed to sleep. I needed to work.

You stood uo and walked over to her, only to see her looking like a corpse walking.

Y/N: Nadia....

Nadia: I considered cuddling with you but I couldn't stop working. There's still so much I need to do.

She moved past you and opened a drawer before pulling out a necklace with a pink crystal ball on it.

Nadia: I can get more time. I can have all the time I need. I can't let them get farther ahead than they already are.

She set the necklace down on the desk as you looked at it.

Y/N: What is that?

Nadia: My mobile lab. It's small enough that time passes slower inside. When I shrink down, I can pack days into hours. I can figure all of this out before anyone else gets hurt.

Y/N: Nadia. Think about this. You need to sleep. This isn't like you.

Nadia started putting on her gear as you tried to stop her.

Y/N: Nadia...

Nadia: Darling, I'm 100% ok.

Y/N: You're not. None of this is ok. Please, just take a moment to rest.

Nadia: I'm sorry but that's not an option. No one else can get hurt.

You shook your head.

Y/N: They won't be. They have you. And me. And Janet. And Bobbi...

Nadia: I don't want to see you get hurt again. I can't lose you. I can't lose anyone.

You placed a hand on her shoulder.

Y/N: And you won't. Please. Take a break.

Nadia looked up at you and sighed.

Nadia: I'm sorry. But I can't.

She pulled you down and kissed you. While she did, she injected you with another dose of the sleep serum. You smacked it away before she could get it all in but you felt the effects immediately. You fell back onto the couch as Nadia pulled on her helmet.

Nadia: You'll see this is for the best. No distractions.

She shrunk into the necklace as her ohone began to ring. You slowly closed your eyes as the serum took hold.
