Third Person POV

The sun set not that long ago, and a certain (h/c) haired girl was outside with one of her friends, Armin. They sat on a bench, waiting. Well, Armin was waiting for (f/n) to tell him what they were doing out there.

"There's one!" She exclaimed, jumping off the bench and running off. "There's one what?" Armin asked, clearly confused.

"A firefly!" She shouted back to him. "Why are you so excited about a firefly?" He questioned, taking his time to walk over to her.

"Because I like them." She replied, not looking at him. (F/n) stood still and when the timing was right, she quickly caught the firefly. "Yes!" She shouted.

Armin stood behind her, looking over her shoulder. (F/n) slowly opened her hands and grinned, looking down at the firefly. "Let's name him Ronald." (F/n) giggled.

"Ronald?" Armin chuckled. "Yeah! Hey, do you have a jar?" She asked her coconut friend. "No, but I can go get one." Armin answered, walking back inside of HQ to get her a jar.

Smol Time Skip

Armin came back outside with a jar and lid. When he saw (f/n) and went over to her, he almost dropped the jar from seeing what she had.

"Holy crap, (f/n)! How did you catch so many in a matter of minutes?!" He exclaimed.

(F/n) at least had ten more in her hands now.

"Wow, you're the firefly-whisperer. Well, here's your jar." Armin held it out as she put the fireflies inside before screwing the lid back on.

"Try to catch some Armin!" (F/n) shouted from across the training grounds.

"Okay-hey, I think I see one!" He shouted back.

A second later there was a high-pitched squeal. "Armin? Armin, you okay?" (F/n) asked, running over to him.

"Y-yeah...it was a moth.." He responded with wide eyes, wiping his hands off on his jacket.

"Wow, Armin." (F/n) playfully rolled her eyes.

"So how many more of these things are we gonna catch?" He asked after awhile.

"As many as we can get, I guess." She shrugged.

A moment of silence later, and (f/n) spotted a ton.

"OH MY GOD! ARMIN, LOOK!" (F/n) screeched with delight.

"Hush, (f/n)! It's like ten at night! You're going to wake the others up." Armin whisper/shouted.

"Sorry.." She whispered back, going over to get more fireflies.

While she was busy with the fireflies, Armin watched her from afar. He heard a door creak open from behind him, so he looked over his shoulder.

His once calm expression turned into a horrified one.

"OH SHIT, THE CORPORAL! (F/N), RUN!" Armin screamed at the top of his lungs, running away.

She didn't give a fuck and continued chasing the fireflies instead of running away with Armin.

Just as she was about to get one, she was yanked back by the collar of her scouts jacket and thrown to the ground.

"Just what in the hell do you think you're doing, cadet?" Levi asked in a dangerously stern tone.

"Ow! What was that for?!" She muttered, sitting up and rubbing her neck.

"I can't hear you, shithead." He rolled his eyes. Levi grabbed her collar again and dragged her over to a tree. He let go of her once they got to the tree.

"S-sorry, corporal." She replied in a quiet voice

"Answer my question." Was all he said, sitting down next to her and crossing his arms.

"Armin and I were catching fireflies." She mumbled.

"Speak up."

She gritted her teeth together, "I said: Armin and I were catching fireflies." She repeated.

"Why?" He asked, not looking over at her.

"Because my dad would take me out every night to catch them." She whispered, turning her back to him.

Levi didn't know how to respond, so he didn't at all.

"I came out here because we kept getting complaints from the others about the ruckus from you two."

(F/n) quietly giggled to herself.

Levi saw the jar filled with fireflies and picked it up. "I see you've caught a lot of fireflies."

"Huh-?" She turned to look over at him, and saw the jar in his hand. "Oh. Yeah." She grinned.

He set the jar back down and the two looked at each other.

Then (f/n) started looking at him funny.

"W..why are you looking at me like that?" He asked, a little uncomfortable.

She didn't answer, and got even closer to him.

"Cadet..?"

Then she clapped her hands together over his head which almost scared the shit out of him.

"What was that?!" He asked.

"There was a firefly over your head." She chuckled, showing him.

"You want to hold it?" She asked, about to put it on his hand.

"Ew! Oh. Hell. No." He squirmed, scooting away.

(F/n) shook her head, laughing while putting it in the jar.

"I'll just name that one Levi." She whispered.

"Watch," Levi said, picking up the jar and unscrewing the lid.

He released the fireflies and they both watched them fly away, glowing.

Soon enough they were back to looking at each other. A small smile graced (f/n)'s lips.

Out of nowhere, Levi smashed his lips onto her's and grabbed her shoulders.

Since Levi was basically on top of her, she fell back, their lips never parting.

Levi used one of his legs to push down on her leg as his hand roamed her side.

They parted for air, panting.

"S-sorry." Levi whispered, barely audible as he helped her back up.

"C-captain...what was that?" She asked in complete shock.

"...U-uh...m-my face slipped." He hesitated, looking away.

(F/n) couldn't help the laugh that escaped.

A small laugh through Levi's nose was heard as she calmed down and cupped his cheeks.

(F/n) brought his face to her's, and softly kissed his lips with a grin.

Wow this was +1,000 words? It honestly doesn't even feel close to 500 XD

And I was thinking about giving these one shots names for now on instead of "Levi X reader". What do you guys think?

I got inspired by being outside and catching fireflies with my friends a few weeks ago.

(Even tho I was like the only one catching them cuz they chickened out XD )

*cough* we saw fireflies having a threesome *cough*

Fireflies are like my favorite bug and I hate bugs lmao sooooo
