« EPILOGUE »

Two young blonde ran along the pathway as the sun slowly go up the sky. A black pup is following them as they frantically pant.

"Hurry up, Liz! Mom and Dad's gonna be angry!" The male blonde said as his twin sister ran behind him. She whined with a puffed cheeks as she tried running faster. The puppy behind them bark, making them flinch.

"Shut up, mutt!" They shouted and arrived in front of a house. They panted with sweat dropping from their chin. The boy slightly smiled and looked up to the house and his eyes widened in fear.

"L-L-Liz..." The girl looked up and gulped. Two people is standing up in front of them with arm crossed and piercing eyes glaring at them. The twins stood up straight as the girl innocently smiled.

"Good morning, Mom and Dad."

"How's life?" The boy asked, still looking away. Their mother who is the well-known Hazel Braugstein-Ackerman of the Survey Corps glared at the two of them intenser than their father, corporal Levi Ackerman of the Survey Corps. The girl chuckled nervously and made a cute face.

"We're sorry for sneaking out."

"So early in the morning," Levi added with a cold voice as the boy look at him with a pout.

"Yeah. Early in the morning," as he said that, the black puppy barked which also earned the parent's glare. Its waggling tail went inbetween of its legs.

"And you dragged Kupin with you," Levi said as the boy pick the puppy up and hugged it.

"Please don't be mad at him, too, Dad," he said and the little pup barked, eyeing them innocently. Hazel clicked her tongue and pinched the twins' ears earning whines and grunts from the two.

"Don't do that again or you're really in big trouble," she said and the two nodded, agreeing. Hazel let them go and took the girl's hand as Levi takes the boy's, "Let's go. I made breakfast."

"Yehey!"

Thirteen years have passed and now, Hazel and Levi are married and have two wonderful children, Lizel and and Tizel. After their hardships in their first five years of being married, these lovely angels came along and named them after the two of them and their late uncle Titus.

Five years after their marriage, work is less busy because of their rapid progress since the year Eren and the others joined in and now, Levi and Hazel mostly spend their time in their house inside the inner wall with their children.

Of course, they are not the only couples who had kids. Eren and Mikasa's feeling for each other bloom in their five years as Survey Corps soldier and now, they also have a happy married life with their two angels. Jason, their eight-year-old son and Aria, their six-year-old daughter.

Connie and Sasha also have a married life and had a daughter they named Coco. They also adopted a dog named Pudding who is the brother of the Ackerman dog, Kupin.

Jean and Armin became squad leaders and have squads of their own now, but don't ask about their love life.

So far, mankind's life inside the wall is as peaceful as ever and Titan attacks are becoming rarer and rarer as time pass by and they hope it continue.

"Mom! I heard from Aunt Sasha that you have a brother. What's he like?" Tizel asked as he put his empty plate in the sink. He got Hazel's hair color, and his father's eyes with the same shade of gray. With that unusual but beautiful combination, he looks really charming.

"Yeah! Uncle Connie also said I'm so much like him!" Lizel said excitedly and put her own plate in the sink then went back to her seat. She also have the same blonde hair and eye color, but her eyes looks much more innocent in a cute way. Much like her late uncle.

Levi turns to Hazel as she clean the table. Titus is a bit sore topic for her, but the kids also deserve to know about their parent's family right? And if they can avoid the dark details, the better.

"Well, yes. I do have a brother. His name is Titus Braugstein and yes, he is really like you, Liz," the girl smiled as her brother joined her in listening, "He's loud, obnoxious and sometimes a nuisance."

"Ouch, mom. You are the best," Lizel said with sarcasm as Tizel huffed.

"Well, Mom is saying the truth. Those three adjective suit you well," Lizel scowled at her brother and jumped down her chair to Levi. Faking tears, he hugged her father.

"Dad! Mom and Tiz are bullying me again!" Lizel said as Levi rolled his eyes and patted her head. The mother and son clicked their tongue and thought of the same thing. Lizel is such a papa's girl. Hazel then decided to add something to what she said about Titus.

"But you know, your uncle Titus is also a caring person. He never let anyone he loves get hurt. That's the best thing about him," Hazel said as she started doing the dishes. Her daughter looked at her and blinked her teary eyes three times.

"Really?" Tizel asked and Hazel nodded. Levi patted Lizel's head again and she raised her head up to him.

"He always look after your mom even now. So the two of you should look after each other's back," Levi said and Hazel internally chuckled. Ever since they had kids, Levi started showing his soft side, but only in their family.

Family. After the fall of Shiganshina eighteen years ago, she never thought to have another family again. But Levi suddenly showed his interest in her and they both went through hardships and good times with each other and now here they are. Living in a nice cozy house with their little angels. Well, two of their little angels.

"Yes, dad," Lizel and Tizel said and Lizel ran towards Tizel and hugged him.

"I love you, big brother!" Tizel flinched and blushed in embarrassment and their parents hid their laughter at their cuteness. Tizel did inherit Hazel's tsundereness and both parents' coldness.

"Y-Yeah," the young boy said and his sister pulled away, "Mom, I just remembered. A guy with blond hair and green eyes told me something."

Hazel paused from washing the dishes when her son said that. Blonde hair and green eyes? No, it cannot be a Braugstein, can it? The other Braugstein committed suicide thirteen years ago. How can there be a remaining one beside her?

"What did he say?" Hazel asked and continued on her task. Levi noticed her uneasiness, but decided to keep quiet.

"He told me to look after you. He said that you tend to be reckless sometimes when your focus is not really on the task. He also want me to say something to you for him," Tizel said and Hazel's eyes widened at his son's words.

"Hi, Nee-chan. I miss you."

Tizel said, but instead of his voice, Hazel heard Titus' voice instead. Hazel stopped once again and dried her hands up before walking towards her son and crouching down to his height.

"What exactly do he look like?" Hazel asked with her calm voice, but deep inside she is anxious to know. Tizel tried recalling and an image of the man in a windy green meadow. Two red piercing also took his attention.

"He's tall and have two red piercing in his ear. He also have scarred hands and wears the same jacket as you and dad wear," Tizel said and glanced towards the cleanly fold Survey Corps uniform by the couch. Levi and Hazel locked eyes and recognized the description.

"Really? Where did you see him, Tiz?" Lizel asked peeking through her bether's shoulder.

"In a dream," he started, "but it seems so real that it feels it practically happened. We were in a windy meadow with a tree that has carvings. And the guy is not alone. There is also these two people with the same jacket. A girl with reddish brown hair and another guy with blonde hair. All three of them are smiling."

Levi instantly recognized the people in question as Hazel did in a second. All three of them showed up in Tizel's dream? Even though it is creepy and weird, they felt kind of happy that at least they are happy, wherever they are.

"That's plain creepy, Tiz," of course, it is creepy for Lizel. She never met the three in person or ever even know them.

"But it's a damn awesome dream," Tizel said with a monotone voice. His sister didn't even know if he's enthusiastic about it or not. Hazel let out a smile and stood up. The two started an argument with each other, with Tizel winning. This actually reminded Levi and Hazel how their relationship started.

Their argument ended with Kupin started barking outside. It's associated by another dog and the twins peeked out the window seeing three kids outside with a white puppy.

"Mom! Can we play with Jason and the others?" Lizel asked as Tizel poked her sides, making her squeal.

"Mom, can we play with Liz's boyfriend?" Tizel asked, mischievously and Levi glared a the twins.

"Boyfriend?" Levi said and Lizel blushed, correcting her brother words.

"Nooooo!! I'm too young!!!!" Lizel said and glared at her brother as he rolled his eyes at her, "but, can we?"

"Sure--"

"Tizel, keep an eye on your sister," Levi said, cutting Hazel off. Hazel sighed and rolled her eyes. There he is again with the protective dad thing.

"Yes, dad," Tizel said and the twins ran out of the house. They met up with the three kids outside their house and the white puppy playing with Kupin.

"What took you so long?" The brunette with with twintails said. She's Coco Springer. Connie and Sasha's six-year-old daughter. She inherit most of her traits from her mother and Connie is a bit bugged about that.

"Oh, mom and dad are telling us stories about our uncle," Lizel said and the brunette girl with gray eyes took her hand. She's Aria Yeager. Mikasa and Eren's daughter. She's mostly quiet and have a very hush voice, but they tried understanding her without any use of her words.

"Well, how about we play by the riverbank? Let's bug Uncle Jean," the ravenette boy with green eyes said with a grin. He looks so much like his father which is Eren. He's Jason Yeager, Eren and Mikasa's little hunter.

The pups barked, expressing their mischievous agreement. The white pup beside Kupin is Pudding and he usually tag along Coco.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Coco said and the five of them, together with the pup run towards the riverbank. They pass through some people on the way there with Lizel apologizing from time-to-time when they bump someone.

Once they arrived by the riverbank, they started looking for Jean's house. Well, he still lives with his mother in his free days. Once they arrived there, they knocked and a woman opened the door for them then smiled.

"My, hello there, children," she said and Lizel and Coco smiled at her.

"Good morning, Mrs. Kirstein!" Lizel asked and Coco spoke after her.

"Is Uncle Jean home?" The woman put a hand on her mouth and smiled sweetly at them.

"No deary. Jean's not home. He was called to report in the HQ a while ago," she said and the kids looked confused. He was called to report? Before they left, their parents are still home so why is Jean called in?

"Oh, okay, Mrs. Kirstein! Sorry for the intrusion!" Lizel said and started walking away. The woman nodded and waved them farewell. The five then just decided to sit beside the rivierbank.

"Why do you think Uncle Jean been called in?" Jason asked and Aria shrugged as she still hold unto Lizel's hand.

"Papi did say that Uncle Jean is a squad leader now," Coco said as she pat Pudding's little head. The little mutt wag his tail, expressing its enjoyment.

"Yeah. And so as Uncle Armin," Jason said and Aria lean on his brother's shoulder.

"Uncle Armin," she said and Jason nodded.

"That's what I said," he said and Aria shook her head then pointed in front of them. The other four looked in front of them and saw Armin wearing his uniform and geared up. Armin looks really mature with his hair a bit longer and tied into a low ponytail. He also grew a lot taller.

"Hey, you're right. There he is," Lizel said and a cadet zipped down to him and told him something, making him nod. He said something to the cadet and he zipped away.

"Oi! Uncle Armin!" Armin's eyes widened and turned to the five kids and he zipped towards him from across the ever.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and Aria stood up.

"Play?" She said and Armin liked at the others.

"You need to go back to the far end of the town. Right now! You'll see Garrison soldiers there and go with them," Armin warned, confusing the five. Tizel the stood up and glared up to Armin.

"Spill it out. What's wrong?" He asked with his cold voice. Armin was a bit taken aback by the young boy's hostility. Well, he is Corporal Levi's son, but he won't spread any wrong ideas around the town and cause panic.

"N-Nothing, all must report to the Garris--"

"It's the titans, isn't it?" Tizel cut him off, surprising his friends and Armin. They looked at him with bewilderment, but Aria walked towards Tizel and tugged his sleeve.

"Titans are nearing the wall," she said with a hush voice and Jason look at his sister with a surprised expression and grabbed her wrist.

"W-What are you talking about, Aria? T-There's no titans for miles. Dad says so!" Jason said, but Tizel and Aria shook their head. Armin's eyes widened and took the other two girls to gather the children together.

"There are no titans. We are just doing a quick check on the citizens around this area, got it?" Armin said, trying to calm them up. Lizel looked at him with a fearful look in her gray eyes.

"Haha! Right! Tiz is goofing around again. Trying to scare us and Aria tagged along too," she said trying to calm her shaking nerves. Tizel clicked his tongue and glared at Armin.

"Look. I'm not dumb. I know what I am sensing right now are titans. I don't know how, but I trust my gut. So cut the crappy act and just tell us the truth, Arlert!" Tizel said and the other three kids looked at him with wide eyes. Aria nodded and tugged Armin's sleeve.

"Daddy is coming," she said and as if on cue, someone landed beside them. They looked at the direction of that someone and saw Eren. Jason and Aria ran towards him and Aria hugged him.

"Dad. What's really going on? Tiz has been talking about shits again! He said that titans are coming!" Eren's eyes widened and stared at his son then at the young Ackerman in question. He sensed something from both boys, but gulped down salivas.

"Eren, hurry--" Connie who just landed and approached Eren stopped when he saw his daughter with tears while Pudding is whining from her strong grip.

"Papi!" She ran towards him and tackled him.

"What's wrong, Coco?" He asked as he tried calming the girl down with patting her head.

"Is it true? Titans are coming? I might taste delicious to them! Papi!" She said and when Connie was about to talk, Armin cut him off and gave an order.

"Take the kids. Get them to the Garrison!" Without another word, the two nodded and obliged. Eren carried his kids and manuevered his way to the rear end of the town. Connie took Coco and Pudding and followed Eren. Lizel and Tizel are left with Armin.

"So, does this mean what Tiz said is true?" Lizel asked, her expression grim and she slightly resembles her mother with that look. Armin didn't answered, but turned to Tizel.

"How did you know about it?" Armin asked and Tizel looked at him with a glare.

"I can sense titans from a mile away and six others that I don't know what is, but I know there's going to be a big disaster coming," Tizel said and Lizel looked at her brother before looking at Armin. Armin the remembered what Hazel said thirtheen years ago about the three levels of shifters.

"Where's mom and dad?" She asked and a sound of someone landing on the pavements came in their ears. Looking behind, they saw Levi and Hange with him approaching him.

"Arlert! What are you still doing here?" Levi asked and he noticed the twins, "What are you still doing here?"

"Hazel said there are shifters these parts," Hange said and Levi glared at Hange. She blinked her eyes at him then look at the kids, "Oh..."

"Shifters?" Lizel asked and Levi clicked his tongue then zipped towards the evacuation with his children. The twins hold on tight to their father and Lizel buried her head on the crook of Levi's head.

"Dad...there's something wrong with me," Tizel said and Levi glanced at his son, "I can sense titans. I even have this weird dream where the town is being attack by titans."

Levi stared at him for a while and then look ahead. After a few more minutes, they heard a loud noise. The twins looked behind their father and eyes widened. Something collosal and steaming just appearched at the other side.

"T-Titan?!" Lizel asked and her brother and father both clicked their tongues.

"They're here," both said as Lizel can see the approaching titans from where they are now. Soldiers zipped pass them and Levi zipped faster.

"Dad, there's really something wrong with me! I can sense them coming and where they are," Tizel said and Levi hissed.

"There's nothing wrong with you," he said and his son looked up at him and so as Lizel, "There are secrets in one's identity that will take you time to know. Right now, you will learn one of them."

"One secret?" Lizel asked and Levi zipped back down on a roof, putting the twins down. He crouched down to their height and patted their heads.

"When you are with the Garrison, just stay with your friends. We'll win this thing," he said then stood up. The twins suddenly hugged him. Even Tizel. It's very rare for him to do that.

"Be careful, when you fight them off," Lizel said and Tizel nodded.

"G-Goodluck. Tell mom that too," he said with a blush on his face. Levi lifted their heads up and pointed to the wall. They saw a something another titan, but instead of acting like a zombie, it started fighting the zombie like ones. There is also another one like it a few blocks away, but this one has blonde hair.

"Tell that to her? No way. She's busy," Levi said and the twins eyes' widened.

"That's mom?" Tizel asked and he looked up at Levi as he nodded.

"Don't worry too much. Hazel's strong. One of the strongest. Simple filthy creatures like those are like stupid ants to her," he said and Lizel smiled, nodding.

"Is that why you love her?" Lizel asked, giggling and Tizel rolled his eyes.

"Strong but stubborn. Smart but sometimes reckless and lovely but destructive?" Tizel said, making Lizel hide her laughter. She thinks those are true and Levi kinds of agree. He ruffled Tizel's hair and the boy hissed.

"Keep it a secret, but yes. Now let's get you to safety," he said, picking them up and zipping down.

"Dad, what is your weakness?" Lizel asked out of nowhere. He don't answered, but Tizel tried guessing.

"Is it mom?" He seem to pinpointed it and Levi glared at him. The boy smirks and Lizel gasped!

"What a big discovery!" She said and Levi also glared at her, but then chuckled.

"Well, you found out my biggest secret," the twins smiled and Levi landed where the Garrison is calming the citizens, "And you better keep it as it is or you're dead!"

The twins mocked a salute, "We swear upon our heart."

After that Levi left as the twins watched him leave. They really wish he'll be safe, but like their father said. They don't have to worry. Both of their parents re strong and they will answer their questions later. And besides. The knew that Levi Ackerman's secret won't ever be use against him.
