Titus's P.O.V

It's been a week now since the expedition and everything seems to be back to normal again. Seems to be. Nee-chan and Levi Heichou haven't converse or interact with each other and Nee-chan is always alone in her  usual spot in the mess hall since...well you already know why.

Nee-chan's neglecting everyone why tried to interact with her, especially Hange-san. She's been trying to talk to her but Nee-chan kept on neglecting her. We can't really blame her since she went through a lot, lately.

"Titus! You're zoning off again," Armin said as I widened my eyes. I would zone off whenever I think about Nee-chan and my friends are becoming worried about me.

"Sorry," I said smiling a little. "I was just...thinking. What were you guys been talking about?" I asked, curious about their topic. It's been a while since I've talked to the others. I've been helping Hange-san with her studies in titans with my own powers and believe me, it's tiring.

"Just who might the female titan be," at the mention of that certain subject, Armin froze. I narrowed my eyes at him as I decided to DRA him outside,

"Sorry! Just remember I have to ask him privately," I said as we left our usual hang out.

"What is it, Titus?"

"Do you know whose the female titan is?" I asked as sweat started to appear on the side of his cheeks

"N-"

"Tell me! Do you know or do you not?" I asked as he gulp. I was saying at him sternly. Something I got from Nee-chan. Then he sigh

"Well... I have suspicions," he said as I smiled

"Good. Who is it?"

"I can't just tell you!"

"Believe it or not Armin. My sister and I already know," I said making his eyes wide. "So who is it? You think,"

"Annie Leonhart..."

*time skip*

Hazel's P.O.V

"Hazel Braugstein, Commander called you for a meeting," Moblit said as I was passing through the halls. I looked at him blankly before saying something.

"When is this meeting?" I asked. I want to ditch it because I know all the superiors will be there, including him. My feelings for him is ambiguous right now. I don't really feel anything for anyone. Everything is just natural.

"A few minutes from now. He's expecting you, Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yeager to be at the mess hall right now," he added and I nodded  and walked pass him and walked yo the mess hall. As I found a lightened candle I saw Mikasa and Eren. I don't know, I just fell calling them by first name now.

As I walk to them, I also noticed someone else at the end of the table. Someone who I don't want to see. He looked at me but, I looked away and at next to Mikasa.

"So, what's this meeting bout?" I asked no one, in certain but then the door opened revealing the other superiors with Erwin.

"It's about capturing the female titan," Erwin said as two blondes appear behind them.

"And that counts us shifters, don't it?" I asked, blankly as Hange nodded , next to Erwin,

"We already know whose the female titan is," I looked at Titus as he gave me a don't-worry-about-it look as I just nodded slightly. Titus is the only person I could trust right now and no one else. We discussed about the plan on going to the district where Leonhart is settled in while Titus and the trio talk to her.

I in the other hand must hide and wait for the right time to get her. I really don't mind. She's just a troublesome girl and I don't care if she was training to death with his father. Yes, I know that girl's past. And it's pretty drastic.

When the meeting ended, everyone left and Titus went ahead. I was about to leave the mess hall too when two pair of arms was wrapped around m and I was pressed closer to a warm surface. This scent...

"Tch, Levi! Let go of me! Urgh!" I tried to escape his hug but he just tightened it more. I could feel something inside my stomach sink and my heart started malfunctioning again. Urgh! "Le-"

"Hazel, please. Don't do this to me. I can't sleep because of you!"

"Oh! How's that my fault, huh?! You got insomnia!"

"I could sleep a few hours back then, but now I can't. Hazel, stop this nonsense," he whispered through my hair as I felt his grip loosened. I took the chance to get away. I ran a few meters away from him before turning around seeing him cry. My chest ached seeing him like that

"Hazel, I'll let down my ego right now and ask for your forgiveness. I'm sorry if I call you those stuff! But believe me, I've spoken out of confusion," he said as I chuckled a little. He looked at me shock, in his once blank eyes. I smirked. Am I losing my mind?

"Yeah right! As if I'd fall for that shit! Wow! You even cried! Bitch please!"

"Hazel--"

"Oh, don't Hazel me, Ackerman! And about us a few weeks ago? Just forget about that! I hate liars," I said glaring at him. He walked towards me but I ran away from him.

"Hazel!" I kept my head low up to my room. I locked the door once again and kicked the chair on my desk. Tch, why do he kept on lying? Forgiveness? Huh? He wants that?! Pfft! Oh please!  Like I would do that! Call me crazy for actually doing that. Hah!

My chest suddenly felt a pain and I crouched down holding my chest.

He's such a jerk...

Next thing I knew, I was crying. Why am I crying? Because of him? Tch, I had enough of him! If I could have just stopped this thing earlier, I wouldn't have to feel these stupid emotions. I could have not loved him.

"Love huh? Love if just an illusion fools made. A decision they would have just regret when the time comes. Love is horrible," I whispered to myself.

Levi's P.O.V

I'm not losing Hazel! I won't give up! Not her too!

I followed her to her room and was about to open it when I heard something.

" Love huh? Love if just an illusion fools made. A decision they would have just regret when the time comes. Love is horrible," she said. No. You're wrong, Hazel. Love is not the thing that's horrible. It's this world, we live in is horrible. Such cruelty this world brought to us since the start.

"Hazel..." I whispered but, no reply. I stated to get worry so I opened the door (I have a duplicate key) and saw Hazel on the side of the bed, asleep. My gaze softened and went towards her. I clicked my tongue ad carried her to her bed and put the covers over her. I pick the chair up and sat on it. This is the fifth time I saw her asleep and I admit to myself, I never get bored of her sleeping face.

If she would just let me talk to her about things. I want her in my arms again. It hurts to see her avoiding and haying me. She's the only one I got right now. I admit I had done something wrong but I regret it.

I look at her sleeping face again and saw how peaceful she could be. I noticed some dried tears on her face so I wiped it off.

"Why can't you just listen to me? Just for once? You always go ahead of me and I hate that, Hazel," I whispered but, I know there won't be any response. I sighed and clicked my tongue. I know it's stupid to do this but, I just want to. I leaned in to her and pecked her lips. Her soft pink lips that I always crave for. I missed it. I missed her.

I broke the kiss and left her room. As I open the door, a taller figure was on my way. I look up and saw Hazel's brother, glaring at me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, pure venom in his tone. I know he hates me for what I had said back at the expedition but, I don't care. I only care about Hazel.

"Visiting your sister."

"She doesn't want to see you," he looked inside her room and then realized, "she's asleep."

I closed the door and walks away but, he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around.

"Don't ever come near my sister again," he growled as I clicked my tongue and removed his hand off my shoulder.

"I won't. I won't leave Hazel and that's final," I growled back as he glared. Of course, I glared back. "Why are you even doing this?"

"I'm protecting my sister from you so just leave her alone!" Titus answered as I clicked my tongue..

"If you want to protect her, don't protect her from me. Protect her from this cruel world," I shot back as I turn around.

"I know this world is cruel and we are protecting each other. You are also part of this world so it's just right for me to protect her from you," I stopped on my tracks

"Well, same as you."
