Hazel's P.O.V

I was in my room, laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling like a useless grounded kid. Tch, it's dinner time now and I didn't bother to go to the mess hall after what happened earlier there. I already have a bad reputation disobeying my captain's orders and now I have a even worse reputation hurting my captain. Hmph, what do I care anyway? Reputation is just junk.

But, was he hurt?

I sat up and clicked my tongue. What do I even care about that jerk!!? He has no feelings nor senses. Of course he's not hurt. He's just like a rock! A stupid rock!

"Tch, I don't care about that jerk," I said to myself as I gazed at the mirror. My hair's a mess. Like chicken dug on it. I took my brush and brush it off as a scene flashed in my head. The scene when Levi was brushing my hair. I felt my cheeks heat up.

Urrgh! You're thinking false again, Hazel! Tell yourself, I don't like Levi.

I don't like Levi. I don't like Levi. I don't like Levi!!

"I don't like anyone," a knock was heard on my door. "Who's there?" I asked coldly.

"It's me, Gunther," Gunther said at the other side. I opened the door and stare at Gunther. Tch, why should he be so tall?!!

"Tch, what do you want?" I asked.

"Heichou wants to talk to you," He said

"Tell him I don't want to," I said as Erd appeared next to him.

"He said you'll say that," Erd said and next thing I knew I was on his shoulder and I was struggling to get off.

"Put me down! I demand you to put me down, Erd!" I said still struggling. I'm too hungry and I have no strength to get out because he's stronger than me, being a male and all. "Let me go! Or you'll see what's coming at 'ya!"

"Tch, shut up, brat," Olou said behind. I looked over to him and glared.

"Oi, wrinkled face. Are you trying to annoy me? Stop copying that jerk!" I said as he clicked his tongue. Urrgh! Why is everything fucking annoying me??

"Geez, since when have Hazel became this noisy?" Olou asked as an irk mark appeared on my forehead. I'm fucking gonna kill that shorty later. I stopped struggling in defeat. Whatever I do, I'm seeing that jerk.

After a few minutes, we're now here in front of Levi's office. Erd put me down and Olou opened the door as Gunther pushed me inside. Wow. Great.

"Tch, brat, sit down," I turned to see Levi leaning on his desk with his hands supporting him. He was wearing his casual clothes but still wears his cravat. A chair is in front of him and I glared at him.

"What if I don't want to?" I asked and because I'm stubborn, I'm going to my room. I turn around and tried to turn the doorknob but it won't turn. I hissed and tried harder but no avail.

"It's no use, Hazel. Schultz locked it from the outside and for it to be open from the inside is this key," Levi said as I turned to him and saw a key on his hand. He put it in his pocket and pat it like it was secured. I clicked my tongue. I'm stuck in here unless I get that key.

I 'Hmph' in defeat and sat on the chair arms and legs crossed. "What do you want? Hurry up cause I'm missing my shower."

He then threw a towel at my face and my eyes widened. I removed the towel and glared at him then he handed me some clothes. I stared at the clothes and realized those clothes were my missing ones.

"What the-- how did you got my clothes??!" I asked as he clicked his tongue.

"I took it from you room---"

"Tch, do you know that what perverts do?" I said, glaring as he rolled his eyes.

"Just get a shower. You smell," Levi said as I glared at him more intently.

"You know it's rude to tell that to a lady?" I said as he shoved my clothes to my face and pushed me to his bathroom. "Hey!"

"Just hurry up. We're discussing something and I don't like talking to smelly people," Levi said from the other side of the door.

"Tch, whatever, pervert," I said and walked towards the shower and get started. Woah, the water here is warmer than the water at my shower. It's so... It relaxes me.

"Oi! Brat! Hurry up or I'll drag you out!!" Levi shouted as I felt my cheeks heat up.

"D-Don't you dare, baka!" I yelled back covering my chest.

"So hurry up!" I'm getting annoyed again. I turned off the shower and dried myself up then put my clothes on. Confirmed. Levi's a pervert. He even took my undies!! My cheeks turned extra red. Urrgh! Just put those thoughts into the garbage can!

I put the towel around my shoulder and dried my hair up as I step out of the bathroom. I saw Levi leaning on his desk, looking straight as my cheeks turned redder. He's... He's wearing a very fit sleeveless black shirt revealing his biceps. I simply covered my face to calm my racing heart and stop my blushing. Urgh, stupid malfunctioning body.

"Oi, Hazel," I took a deep breathe and removed my hand off my face then walked towards the chair and sitting.

"Now, what do you want?" I asked as he raised his thin eyebrows.

"Why are you turning red?" I looked away.

"Just get to the point. It's nothing," I said as I heard his footsteps going closer and closer towards me. He pulled my chin up to look at him straight in the eyes. My face getting hotter "Get away."

"Are you sick?"

"Why do you care anyway?"

"Are you sick?" he repeat.

"I'm not."

"Then why are you red?" He asked as I kept quiet. I can feel his warm breathing touching my face.

"Just get to your point, Levi. I don't have all night," I said and then he distant away. Good. He again lean on his desk and stared at me as I glared.

"I'm taking in your brother--"

"Too late. Titan Freak already got him," I cut him off as I saw his eyes widened. "Tch, you're taking him in when someone else already do."

"You want to keep an eye on your brother, am I right?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Isn't it obvious? He's the only family I have so I might as well protect him," I said as he rolled his eyes.

"Then why did you let Shitty Glasses take him in?" he asked as I looked away.

"Because she promised me to take good care of Titus," I said "And as her friend I trust her," yes. As her friend. Among everyone here in the Survey Corps, only Hange really reach out for me that far.

"Tch, then what am I?" I glared at him again.

"You?! You think we're gonna die! You think I'm gonna die! Now, what kind of friend thinks that?! More like a nemesis," I said glaring hard with anger, but something inside me is crying to think that he thought of me that way. That he thinks I'm gonna die.

"I never thought of that. I never wished someone to die," he said, looking away, "I didn't wished those soldiers to die. And... I never wished Isabel and Farlan to die. They're my friends," Levi said as I looked down and clutched my fist.

"Hmph, yeah right. Maybe for Isabel and Farlan but for me it's different," I said then I felt he gripped my hand and pulled me up making me stand. I looked at him again as I glare.

"Yours really different because I never treated you as my friend."

"Then what?! Your enemy? A brat who always piss you off? Or just one of the cadets that disrespect a captain like you?" I asked out loud.

"Why are you crying?" he asked as I widened my eyes. I touched my face using my free hand and felt liquid flowing out my eyes. Shit! I'm crying. In front of him! Why am I crying? I wiped the tears away and looked away.

"I'm not crying. You're just hallucinating," I said quietly.

"Liar. And I don't see you any of the options," I just hmphed.

"You're the liar. If I'm not your friend then, you might see me as one of the options," I said, my voice almost breaking. NO. Don't break you stupid voice.

"I am not a liar. I don't really see you as one of those," Levi said in a soothing voice. Not in the usual rough cold voice. I looked at him and saw him looking straight on me.

"Then what?" I asked, letting my voice break a little. I throat hurts from stopping my tears to fall. He put down my hand and clasped it with his hand. I was too distracted because of his sudden change to even react.

Levi's P.O.V (Charaaan!!)

I clasped her right hand with mine and slowly lean in to her. Surprisingly, she didn't reacted. When I was a few inches away I stopped.

"I never see you any of those because I see you as more than anything," I cut off, "I love you, Hazel. I always do," and then it happened. My lips landed on hers as I closed my eyes. She didn't punched, pushed nor slapped me like I expected. She was...still. I don't know if she had time to react or she's really absent-minded.

Before I knew it, she kissed back. I widened my eyes and saw her closing hers. I just closed mine too and after a few seconds, we break the kiss catching for air. I pressed my forehead to hers.

"Hazel?" I asked utterly confused. I thought she hates me. She hates me so much, but she returned my kiss.

"What?" She asked.

"Why...did you..." urgh! Levi, just ask it!

"Why I kissed you back? I jut realized earlier how much I love you too," I smirked.

"Then you're mine," I said as she looked up at me, surprising me with a kiss. I just let it be before breaking it.

"I'm going in the expedition," she said with a serious tone "And if something ever happened, don't ever stop loving me, Levi."

I widened my eyes at her words. "What are you talking about?" I asked feeling uneasy.

"Nothing. I'm just tired and hungry. It's already late and I didn't ate earlier," she said as I sighed, though the uneasiness is still there.

"Don't scare me like that," I said then hugged her. The way she said that earlier, it's like she's saying goodbye or something.

"Sorry," she hugged me back even tighter. "I'm just hungry."
