School had been getting easier and easier. You had more time to hang out with Levi because you were getting less homework. It was nearly the end of the school year and the hot July breeze was starting to blow through the tall spring grass. The days were getting long and the energy of the students at school rose to a climactic point. After all, school only lasted one more hour.

You walk down the hall through mobs of energetic teens, excited. Once school was done, you could leave the house for days at a time and nobody would notice. You start to put some things in your bag, seeing as the day was over. The halls started to clear out for the last time that month and you were able to see the floors were littered with bits of paper and pencils. You remained at your locker sorting out the textbooks that stayed and your belongings until you were satisfied with the condition of the locker.

 As you stand up, you hear footsteps coming down the hall. You turn around expecting it to be a teacher, but are surprised when you see Eren walking towards you. “[F/N]” he calls out, waving “Levi sent me to get you. He was wondering if you wanted a ride to his place tonight and since I’ve got nothing better to do, I volunteered to be your driver.” He smiles and says “you trust my driving skills, right?”

By the time you arrived, you had gotten to know Eren a lot more than you had wanted to and you got out of the car, relieved that it was over. You hear a sound and look back with a mix between surprise and horror as you see him getting out of the car and locking it. He sees your funny look and says, “Oh that’s right. I forgot to tell you I’m spending summer vacation here since my parents made me move out.” You turn around and think ‘great just great every time I go to see Levi this goon will be here’
