Jisung didn't say anything. He brushed past Minho, walking out the door to the parking lot. Minho made sure the kids were far enough behind before trying to talk to the younger.
"Jisung," Minho said, trying to get his attention.
"No, Minho, I don't want to hear anything from you. You left me. You left our child for seven years, and now, all of a sudden, you show up?"
Jisung said, not even looking at the older. It felt good to say that after all these years, but he also felt immense anger. Tears started to form in his eyes, but he quickly blinked them away before getting in the car and waiting for the girls to catch up.
About two hours into the drive, they stopped at a gas station to get some food and take bathroom breaks.
Jisung walked into a stall, locking it behind him. He held his stomach in pain, his breathing quickened as the discomfort pulled him out of reality.
A sudden knock came on the stall door.
"Jisung? Are you okay? You've been in there for a while," Minho said.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'll be out in a minute," Jisung said, pulling himself together.

They all arrived at the hotel along with the other volunteers and parents.
Avery and her group dashed off to join the rest of the class, leaving Minho and Jisung lingering at the counter to check in. The two had exchanged barely a word during the drive, the unspoken tension between them weighing heavily. Both knew there were unresolved feelings, but neither was ready to break the silence.
"Can we go swimming with the others?"
One of Avery's friends asked brightly. Jisung glanced at Minho, too exhausted to muster a response.
"Sure, we're in room 143. Here's a key," Minho said, handing the girl a keycard. She beamed before sprinting off to join the others.
Once inside their room, the two dropped their bags onto the floor and collapsed onto the beds, the weight of the day and their silence pressing down on them.
