"Avery!"

Ava exclaimed as she ran to her older cousin

"Hey uncle"

Avery says giving Jisung a hug

"Ava come look I got some new games"

Avery says dragging Her upstairs leaving Jisung and his mom in the room.

"You guys coming for thanksgiving?"

Jisung Mom, Su-Lee said.

"Of course I need a place to stay for a little can me and Ava stay here?"

Jisung says sitting on the couch next to his mom.

"Of course! I have plenty of room and Avery loves to hang out with Ava"

Jisung smiles at the reply, taking a deep breath as he breathes the comforting smell of home.

"Everything ok?"

His mom asks she can sense an off feeling from her son.

"Yeah mom. Why?"

His mom just looked her son up and down before calling bullshit on his not very good lie.

"I can read you like a book. Whats wrong?"

Shedding a few tears Jisung broke down, telling his mom everything.

"Baby I didn't know why didn't you tell me"

She asks, while running her fingers through her sons hair

"I thought it would get better"

Jisung says, letting soft sniffles into his Mom's sweater

"Sweetie when someone treats you like that they don't love you, and mostly likely it won't get better. You have to get out when you can"

"I know mom I know I don't know why I stayed I'm going to file for divorce"

Jisung says, lifting his head from the crock of his mother's neck.

"And I'll help you"

His mom said lifting her head up tall and proud to show Her support to Her Son.
