*Satvik Pov*

I smiled, feeling the peace both inside and outside, but didn't stop caressing her back while she laid her head over my chest not moving, but is not asleep also with the way of her breathing that she is doing.

When I moved to press a kiss to her forehead, she suddenly sat up and I just miss from getting my chin hurt.

Holding the sheet securely she looked around before finding my shirt and wore it without saying anything and just got down from the bed making me frown.

"What happened? Where are you going?" I asked her and she turned around with an awkward smile.

"I need to go to washroom immediately. I had to go from the past few minutes, but I was feeling lazy and didn't want to move away from you, but now I have to." Saying that she rushed leaving me to laughter.

Shaking my head, I settled back and closed my eyes, but then suddenly I remembered the events that occurred today.

How dare that Laksh even think of troubling her? Maybe I should go and give him a visit. I don't want her to lose her passion for some bastard.

"What is this?" her voice made me open my eyes and see her holding the courier cover I brought with me.

"The plans for the new company are there in that cover." I explained and she immediately glanced at me.

"Why didn't you tell me? I wanted to see them from the time you talked about it." She asked and I smiled shaking my head.

"They didn't even enter my mind after knowing you were not feeling well but then after everything I just forgot." I replied and she stared at me with a smile shining in her eyes before walking near the bed holding the cover.

"Show them to me." She said, moving the blanket.

"Now?" I asked her frowning.

"Yes!" saying that she made me sit and settled herself before me.

I pulled her in my arms when she started taking out the paper before whispering, "Don't you think we can use this time for something else?"

"Huh! Finally such words from you, but now this is important." She replied, grinning and then whispered, "Later!"

Brushing her cheek, I took the papers from her hand and started explaining to her from the start. My friends already finalized and we sat today in the evening to compile everything.

When I finished explaining she sat calmly, not saying a word and I immediately felt maybe we all felt it is good because of self-interest but there must have been some mistakes.

"Satvik! Truth to be told I was skeptical when you started planning to start a company because I thought you were hurt and you are doing this. But this... this is amazing." Saying that she twirled in my arms before hugging me tightly.

"Really?" I asked, feeling excited with her reaction.

"Really! I should have known I don't choose just any type of person as my husband." She teased and I shook my head chuckling before pulling her for a kiss.

"Everything is fine, but there is a small problem." I said after placing the plans on the bedside table making her frown.

"We three are good at a specific specialization and we are going to handle that along with common things but our main thing is client's satisfaction. We need someone to do that, but we don't want to hire someone from outside right now." I explained and she stared at me or a few seconds before grinning.

"You are really lucky." She whispered and I chuckled at her words.

"Because you are my wife?" I asked, smiling and she chuckled to my words now.

"That also but for one thing is that I can handle that department." She replied and waited for me to say something while I just stared at her.

"I am so stupid." I said, staring at her.

"Err... what?" she asked frowning.

"It's like having a diamond in my hands, but I am worried thinking I don't have one." I continued to talk and she looked at me more confused.

"I should have approached you before any of my friends. I mean, you are wonderful with that work, but I didn't. How stupid can I be?" I asked myself and she suddenly laughed.

"It's okay! All the husbands have a right to be stupid." She replied, patting my shoulder in a consoling way

"Yeah?" saying that I turned us to make her fall on her back.

"Yes!" she whispered smirking.

"I will show you the stupidity." I whispered back and leaned down, making her smirk replaced with a smile which in turn made me smile.

"Are you not getting ready for work?" Bhabhi asked Anusha the next day at breakfast.

"I didn't take the job." Anusha replied and I felt a tremor pass her which immediately moved my hand to hold hers.

"Oh okay!" Bhabhi mumbled and I glanced at Mom to see her frown at Anusha but there was a relieved expression.

No matter what, she will not come out of the rigid notions, but I am sure she will with the way Anusha said day before yesterday.

Today morning I just decided to tell them about my plans as the work will start from the next day, but Anusha suggested me to do it in the evening as now everything will be with distracted minds to leave for work or to do something in their minds and they will not be much space for understanding.

"Bye!" I whispered to Anusha before leaving and she nodded smiling.

The day passed too slowly while I was just waiting for it to end so that I can just blurt out my plans and be done with it.

Before two hours of closing time, I moved to the HR department and gave my two weeks notice to be passed to my Dad like according to the procedure before leaving the company with my main things.

After that I reached the next important place and waited outside Lash's father's company for a few minutes to calm down before getting inside.

"I need to speak to Laksh." I said near the receptionist desk.

After one hour of waiting they finally made me reach his cabin and I entered it without knocking only to see his stupid smirking face.

"What can I do for you?" he asked and I just walked near the desk.

"Stay away from my wife otherwise you will regret it." I warned him.

"What? Got scared that she will choose me if she stays with me?" he asked and I wish I know how this man's brain work so that I can just smash it.

"Just shut up! I already warned you that day and this is the second time, but there won't be a third time." I stated and he just laughed.

I narrowed my eyes and lifted the paper weight before throwing at him to pass beside his head and it did before crashing to the wall behind him.

"The next time it will not miss." I threatened while he stared at the broken pieces.

"What is happening here?" we both heard a new voice and turned to see an old man walking into the cabin.

"Dad..." Laksh trailed off and I observed he acted like a normal human being losing the evil glint and everything.

"Sir! Your Son has crossed too many limits and harassing my wife. We will not sit quiet for sure." I started and continued to explain regarding the company buying and what he planned for the future.

"What is this, Laksh? Behind a married woman? Didn't I warn you what will happen if you don't get yourself into proper behavior?" his Dad asked.

"I told you I will if you get me Anusha." Laksh replied and I moved to hit him but his Dad stopped me.

"She is a married woman, Laksh. Now, with this I need to punish you before you continue this. And the punishment will be severe if I find another word about this from anyone." His Dad warned and I just slipped from the cabin knowing well his Dad can handle him.

After that I reached my home and walked inside to see Bhabhi and Mom watching the television and even Anusha is there with them making me smile.

"Hey! You are early." She mumbled realizing my presence and stood up smiling.

"Water?" she asked and I nodded after which she walked into the kitchen and I sat at her place.

"You are looking tired, Satvik." Bhabhi commented and I glanced towards them to see Mom is also staring at me, but looked away without commenting unlike how she used to be behind me with scoldings and pampering.

Suddenly it felt too much to not show hurt expression, but then I relaxed when Anusha returned to sit beside me holding the water glass.

"Thank you!" I whispered and drank the water.

After a few minutes of silence, we heard the footsteps hearing, which Mom and Bhabhi walked into the kitchen to get Dad and Bhai water.

"See? I learned from them about that." Anusha mumbled smiling.

"Hmm! Maybe I will do that for you when we return home together in the future." I said, winking, but the atmosphere suddenly turned into chill with the expressions both Dad and Bhai wore on their faces.

"What is the meaning of this, Satvik?" Dad asked, slapping my two week's notice on the table.

I thought they would get it tomorrow as I gave the HR department very late, but seems like they don't want to miss any work.

Here I was waiting until they settle to start the conversation, but they are already riled up. I glanced at Anusha and gestured her for the plans to which she nodded and left while I took a deep breath.

"Please sit down and drink some water." I said and they did fuming while Mom and Bhabhi stared at us in confusion.

"Now, will you tell us why you want to leave the company?" Dad asked and I heard a gasp.

"What?" Mom asked with complete shock covering her face.

"What happened so suddenly for this decision?" Bhai asked frowning.

"It is not a sudden decision. I was thinking about it for a few days." I replied.

"Then, what will you do by leaving? Sit at home?" Dad asked with his temper rising and at the same time Anusha reached my side.

"Now you have a wife too, Satvik." He added glancing at her.

"No! Let me show what I am going to do." Saying that I took Anusha's help to explain my plans and she added the points I forgot.

After that there was complete silence and slowly Mom asked, "You both planned this?"

"No, Mom! But she is going to join in this company and will help me from the establishment." I replied.

"What about the other jobs?" Bhabhi asked the question which was so not related at present.

"She is not comfortable with them." I replied and glanced at Dad.

"I told you she will just break this family, but you brushed my words." Suddenly Mom's voice reached while she stared at Dad.

"Yes! I should have listened." He nodded, making me stare at them.

"Mom! Dad! This is my plan and my decision. She joined this just yesterday and from where will she be the reason?" I asked them back.

"The reason is you, Dad. You always make me feel I don't deserve to work in the position I am handling at the company. Now, I want to prove myself." I added.

"You know your Dad and he is like that who wants only perfection. But it was never a problem on a level to leave the company and start a new one, but now it is?" Mom asked and I know well that she is still accusing Anusha who is sitting beside me in silence.

"What about your shares in the company?" Bhai asked, getting in business mode like always and this is what my Dad thinks perfection is which I don't want.

"They will be like that only, but if you have any problem, you can buy me out." I replied and he shook his head.

"You know with our company finally beating the rival these past few days, the share price is high. So, we can't buy you out." Bhai said not like a brother but like a businessman.

"Then, I will not sell later, except now." I said, making him frown.

"Stop it, both of you. You both never fought before, except now and why is that, Satvik?" Mom asked and I stared at her wishing I can just say something but I know there will be no use.

"This is what I want to do and if I fail, I will fail." Saying that I stood up before taking all the plans before turning around leaving the room.

However, after reaching the room, I realized I didn't bring Anusha making me curse myself for leaving her like that for the second time.

Dumping the papers and my bag, I turned around to go downstairs, but found her climbing the stairs holding the tray with a frown.

Realizing my presence, she mumbled, "I think dinner with, everyone should be skipped for today until everyone calms down."

She just passed me to walk into the room and I followed her. After she placed the tray on the table, I held her from behind.

"I am sorry about everything." I whispered and she sighed leaning back.

"I already expected their reaction." she whispered back.

"I don't know why they are blaming you for everything but I will tell you when I get to know and it is my promise." I said tightening my hold.

"I will also promise that I will tell you when I know the clear reason." She mumbled holding my hands.

We stood like that lost in our thoughts and I just wish they don't blame her for everything when I am doing the things which is so clear.
