*Anusha Pov*

"This one?" I asked showing him another suit but he shook his head making me groan.

"I shouldn't have asked your opinion at all." I mumbled, looking at all my suits which he didn't accept.

"I like you more in a Saree." His words reached me and I immediately turned to stare at him.

"I told you that I am not that comfortable in them as I literally never wore them before. And if I wear them to work, then I will be concentrating on my Saree than the work that I have to do. I even stopped wearing at home also but you didn't say anything." I mumbled frowning.

"I said that I like you, but I didn't say you have to. Now, just choose a color in which you feel comfortable." He said walking near to me and I smiled shaking my head.

"Get ready! I will drop you." He added, but I frowned at his words.

"Satvik! I need to go half an hour after you leave from here." I pointed out.

"I will wait until then and we will leave." He said shrugging.

"No! They are already upset with my job and it is better if we don't give them something to say anything." I mumbled and he frowned staring at me.

"They are my fam... our family, Sha. They will not say anything." He assured me, but I shook my head to which he sighed nodding.

"Okay! All the best!" he said, giving a good luck kiss before walking out of the room while I smiled to myself before started getting ready.

The smile stayed there on my lips feeling the excitement of starting a new job and it dimmed a little, but I made sure for it to stay even after looking at Aunty who is completely against this.

While Manvi seemed to be confused and lost, but wished me before I was leaving. After some time I finally reached the company and stood before it feeling butterflies and many more things running in my stomach.

This is it, Anusha. You are starting something new and at a new place and it will take time, but you are going to do it with complete hard work.

With that small pep talk, I walked into the company building and met the manager who immediately walked me to the conference room saying the CEO will be meeting me and during the while I can sign the contract papers.

"Thank you!" I said, nodding at him and he walked out of the room.

I took out my pen and glanced at the papers with a smile, but suddenly it felt wrong and I shook my head moving my pen towards the dotted line.

Feeling the shiver, I took out a small piece of paper from the table and wrote my name before adding Satvik to it. For a few minutes I stared at that and shook my head, knowing well I am wasting time.

However, before I can sign the doors opened and turned to greet the CEO standing up only to stumble looking at the person before me.

"How are you, Anusha?" he asked, smirking and walked completely into the room and moved towards the main chair.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him frowning.

"Meet the CEO!" he replied, gesturing himself.

"But... but it was some Rajesh..." I trailed off feeling sick looking at the person.

"It was but then you applied for a job here and hence the change." He said shrugging and I stared at my hands to see them shivering feeling the coldness surrounding me.

"Why?" I asked, dreading the answer.

"Didn't I tell you that we both are going to be a pair?" he asked and I immediately glanced up to stare at him.

"Laksh! I am married." I stated and he nodded like it is not a new news.

"I know! My Dad even took out his interest from your Dad's company for that naughty act you did. But don't worry, I am not mad about it. Now, we can be together." He said with a sick smile.

"No!" I said taking a step back.

"You are sick! Do you even hear what you are saying? I am married and you are talking... go and join some hospital." I spatted and continued to step back to reach the door.

"If you work for me everything will be cured." He said shrugging and I felt like I am talking to a wall.

He slowly walked near to me and moved to trail his fingers over my cheek, but before I can move he placed his hand on my wrist.

"We will have an amazing time, Anusha. Start working from today and you will know." He said, smirking and I tugged my hand from his taking a step back not showing my back.

"I will never work for you." I said, feeling relief that I didn't sign the contract papers.

"But the contract papers..." he trailed off taking them and frowned, looking at the place where I didn't sign.

"Well, it's okay! It seems I am here too early. Anyway, you will be trying for other companies and I will try for them also." He added and the relief got stomped like hell.

"Why are you doing this? What sick game you are playing? We never even met before that day, but you are acting like..." I trailed off and he smirked.

"We never met before, but I saw you, Anusha. And I want you." He said the words in such a way that I know I will puke right now if I don't leave from him.

Stumbling to hold the door knob I turned it and opened it before stepping out of the room.

"It is better if you accept this, Anusha. Because I will not sleep until you are with me and I will do everything. Do you understand when I say everything, right?" his words followed me, but I didn't glance back and rushed out of the company before calling for a cab shivering.

I stuttered, but somehow gave the address to Satvik's home and reached there. Paying the cab, I rushed inside the home and closed the door still hearing his voice.

"Anusha?" I heard the voice and took a step forward, but stumbled on my own step.

"Anusha!" this time the voice was hurried and I felt someone holding my shoulders.

"Get some water!" I heard the demand.

"Okay, Mom!" the words continued to flow, but I felt blank and drank something making me feel clearer about my surroundings.

I glanced to my side to see Aunty sitting beside me holding my hands with worry covering her face.

I glanced up to see Manvi standing before me waving her Saree end before my face. I sniffed and leaned onto Aunty and she let me.

"What happened?" she asked and I shook my head to which she sighed.

"She didn't have breakfast today." Manvi commented while I started thinking should I even tell them about this Laksh.

"Get something for her." Aunty asked and after a few minutes they made me finish the breakfast.

"I will just... just take some rest." I whispered and they both nodded.

Somehow I reached our room and threw myself on the bed before burst out crying remembering the creepiness and the disgust feeling with the way he talked and the way he threatened.

I don't know how but I slept off feeling tired and I woke up feeling a presence and arms around me.

"No!" I said, moving away, but the hands didn't leave me.

"Sha! Anusha!" the frantic voice broke my sleep and I opened my eyes to stare at Satvik.

"What happened, Sha? Mom immediately asked me to take care of you the moment I returned from work. I am worried here looking at your behavior right now. What happened?" he asked, placing his hand on my cheek with terror on his face.

"Satvik!" I whispered his name and gave a sob and before I know I am crying like hell holding me while he consoled me.

"Please tell me, Sha." He whispered and I told him everything and his hold tightened with each word.

"I will kill him! Why are you crying, Sha? He will never hurt you." He promised.

"I don't know! The feeling to be in his presence and him holding my hand. I felt so much disgust and the way he talked. He was like a psycho, Satvik. I really don't know why am I crying." I explained between sniffs and he calmly rubbed my back.

"Here!" he suddenly said, sitting up and released me, but I continued to hold him not wishing for him to move away.

"I am not going anywhere." He added and took my hands in his from his shoulder before placing kisses on my palm and moved towards my wrists and then lifted his head to kiss me.

I glanced at my hands before staring at him while he just stared back with a worried expression.

"I love you!" I whispered, moving to hold him and he held me back running his hand through my hair.

"I will go and get you some dinner." He mumbled after sometime when my stomach started growling.

"Will they mind?" I asked him worriedly to which he shook his head with a smile and walked out of the room while I sat on the bed waiting for him.

After he returned, I moved to take the tray, but he shook his head before sitting on the bed beside me.

"I will feed you." He stated and before I can protest, he pushed the spoon near my mouth.

"You will not listen to your husband?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"As you wish, dear husband." I mumbled in a cracked tone and allowed him to feed me while I fed him back.

"Just wait!" saying that he again left the room with an empty tray and returned smiling before removing his coat.

"You didn't get freshen up." I mumbled realizing he is still wearing his work clothes.

"Now, I will do it." He assured me and walked into the washroom with his night clothes while I sat there leaning my head back thinking about how I reacted from morning.

"I acted like a stupid." I mumbled after some time with my eyes closed.

"No! You were scared and it is completely understandable." His voice reached before I felt his hands holding my face.

"And don't you dare call my wife stupid." He added and my lips twitched before I moved to hug him tightly not opening my eyes.

"He is just barking, Sha. And he will never be able to harm you." Satvik started talking giving his words of assurance.

"If he somehow takes over all the companies you wish to join, then I will make Dad appoint you in his company. He is a fan of your work, do you know that? And that is such a huge thing because he thinks I am kind of waste." He continued and his words passed a hurt at the end.

"You are amazing, Satvik." I whispered, turning my head to kiss his cheek and trailed my lips to his ear.

"Sha!" he whispered and moved me to stare at him.

In the mean time I started unbuttoning his shirt, but he immediately held my hands smiling and shook his head.

"You are emotional, Sha. At this moment, all this will be not good for you." He said caressing my cheek.

"Will you turn me down every time?" I asked, pulling him to me holding his shirt.

"Sha!" he warned and groaned when I pressed open mouth kisses on his throat while removing his shirt.

"I was emotional, Satvik. Now, I want completely to be yours while you will be mine completely." I said looking directly into his eyes.

"You will kill me one day." He whispered and pulled me for a scorching kiss.

"I am just returning the favor. Because you are killing me from day one." I whispered properly lying on the bed with his hovering over me.

We were completely lost but he suddenly lifted his head to stare at me with a frown asking, "Are you really sure?"

I didn't reply and didn't say anything but just smiled at him, which seems like the answer he needs because he didn't look hesitant anymore and gave a return smile at which I fell again. I pulled him knowing well now he will not try to talk me out of this and pressed a kiss to his lips still smiling.

i m not sure i will be able to update tomorrow... i will be travelling tomorrow back to bangalore and will be busy but i will try...

if not tomorrow then mostly tuesday otherwise wednesday... another main point is there may not be daily or fast updates anymore with the college reopening and all... still will try my best to be updating as much as i can...

another main point would be, i know some of my stories suck and i also know all of my stories are not for everyone and i also know i will be doing mistakes... so, plz dont keep too much expectations and if something is not for your liking, it's okay do not go along with it and there are so many stories to write and i am sure i will be able to connect to your taste with some of it... 

regarding against all odds being fast updating and rushed, i would like to say that the story is not finished of both kirthi and ansh and they will be here... i wanted you guys to have an idea about them before meeting them here and mostly there could be bonus chapters also...

uff!!! now, how is the chap???
