It's two days after my little hospital visit, Mo stayed with me for the entire weekend and we agreed that she will go home today instead of coming back to my apartment. I love my friend, but staying with Mo was a nightmare especially now that she's dating; yesterday I found her in my bedroom getting herself off, with Jamie on the phone.

I am definitely scarred for life, instead of stopping what she was doing after getting caught she told me to get out. I wanted to ask her why I would get out of my bedroom, but she looked like she wanted to continue assaulting her lady parts so out I went.

Later after she was done, and showered she came to find me in the kitchen where I was preparing lunch. As soon as she saw me she laughed so hard, telling me how I should have seen my face.

"Why didn't you knock? I know it's your bedroom and apartment, but next time you should think again before opening doors." She said popping an olive in her mouth.

'You were supposed to be showering, not having phone sex with James.' I yelled at her making her crack up.

This morning when we were getting ready for work, she was still apologizing for scarring me, event though it's clear as day she's finding it hilarious.

'I am glad you are finding it amusing.' I said sarcastically.

"What you saw was nothing, I have walked in on Lily having sex on more than one occasion." She said walking to the kitchen.

'What!? How did that happen?' I asked not believing what I'm hearing.

"You remember that one time we went to that super rich guy in senior year, I forgot his name."

'Cade? Yeah I remember because that was the day you dragged me to a party with you guys.'

The first time I went to a party in high school with my friends was at Cade's party. Everyone had been talking about it all week, and my friends convinced me to go with them, it was the worst decision ever and just before midnight I told Mo that I was leaving.

"Yes, him. After you told me that you wanted to go home, I went to look for Lily and found her upstairs with some guy from my art class." Mo explained laughing.

'OMG!' I laugh along with her pouring myself cereal and milk.

"Well that wasn't the end of it, you know how she struggled to get over her break up a year ago. I walked in on her with my cousin back at home." She wrinkled her nose, not sure if it's at the reminder or me eating cereal with cold milk.

"Now I can't ever see Mason the same ever again." Mo says putting her bowel filled with cereal and milk in the microwave to heat them up.

It was the one of a few times that we spoke about Lily without getting lost in our grieve, this was a good sign. Bit by bit we were letting her go.

An hour later I'm walking in at work, I can't believe that I have less than ten days left in this place. The three months went by so fast,  it will be a bittersweet moment to leave, but one thing I can't wait for is graduation end of April.

Just as I get on the elevator to take me to my floor, I get a text message Maya asking me to see her as soon as I arrive. For the reminder of last week I was working alone on group sessions, with Dr Pepper in the background, assessing how I'm doing and if I'm ready to graduate. My uni marks are good enough for me to graduate, but I still need to do well in my internship.

When I get off the elevator I walk over to Maya cubicle and she is not at her desk, I go over to my desk to see what I will be working on today. I didn't get any orders on what I will be focusing on this week due to being absent from work on Friday.

I am about to go to Dr Pepper's office when I see Maya's black hair bouncing around her head, on my way to me. Today she's wearing nude dress pants with a white blouse, she looks professional in that outfit. On her feet she's wearing what I believe to be four inch heels and making her taller than she is.

"Why didn't you reply my messages this weekend?" She says frowning.

Maya is a petite African American, with dimples on both cheeks. Her big honey brown eyes that usually hold warm in them are throwing daggers at me today, meaning I'm definitely not in her good books.

'Hello to you too, I'm good, thanks for asking.' I retort.

"Don't be smart with me, I had to hear from Dr Pepper that you are in a hospital. I thought you and I are friends, but it's clear I'm fooling myself." She says before walking away.

'Maya, wait up. Let me explain.' I say chasing after her.

"Dr Pepper wants to see you in her office." She says seating down at her desk.

I want to clear things with her, but she shakes her head and signals for me to go away. I make a mental note to deal with Dr Pepper first and go back to Maya as soon as I'm back. I walk the distance from Maya's desk to Dr Pepper's office, which is not far from Maya. When I get to Dr Pepper's door I take a deep breath and knock on the wooden door.

"Come in!" A voice says on the other side.

'Morning Dr, you are looking for me?' I ask walking further into her office.

"Good morning, Victoria. How are you feeling?" She says gesturing for me to sit down.

I take a seat in front of her desk, and she looks at me waiting for an answer. 'I am fine, thanks.' I say briefly.

"I have been meaning to talk to you about your email. You want be to be your psychologist, why me?" She pauses.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered, but also not sure if I'm allowed by law to be your psychologist and supervisor." She clarifies.

The reason I chose Dr Pepper is simply because I have seen her at work, how good and delicate with all her patients. I don't want to go out there and try to find someone who might scrutinize me and make me feel uncomfortable.

'I am comfortable around you and have seen your work. I understand if you can't be my psychologist.' I say with a sigh.

"Let's do this, let me talk to my colleague or boss and see. I believe there's a way around it, especially seeing that next week is your last week here with us." She says with a smile.

'Thank you. I will wait to hear from you.' I say standing up.

I'm about to walk to the door, when Dr Pepper calls me name. "I want you to work on paperwork today. Friday reports and files, I had to take over your sessions and couldn't find time to write those in the clinic's system. Ask Maya to give you my notes."

'On it doctor.' I say before walking out.

After my chat with Dr Pepper I go straight to Maya's desk to take the notes, and hopefully to talk to her. She is on the phone call when I get to her desk, so I wait and look around the small cubicle. On her desk is a photo of Maya and who I believe to be her parents, small decorations that reflect on who Maya is. It's professional, but also cute and her desktop computer and telephone.

I didn't notice that she was done talking on the telephone, Maya is pretending like I'm not standing at the foot of her desk probably invading her personal space. She is carrying on with her work with no care whatsoever of why I'm at her desk. This month seems to be a thing, me making people angry and them ignoring me.

'Can we please talk?' I question her.

"I have work to do, and I believe you came here for this." She says handing me a notebook.

Seeing that she is not going to listen to me I take the notes and go back to my desk to work on my reports and files. I open computer, and start filing Dr Pepper's notes in the clinic's system. By the time I'm done with filing it's almost lunch time.

I save my work and take my purse to go wait for food I ordered for Maya and I, one thing Maya has in common with Mo it's their love for food. She might be angry with me, but buying her lunch will melt the ice around her heart.

Maya couldn't stop raving about Chinese food last week. I don't know if she got to satisfy her cravings over the weekend, but I'm taking my chances. By the time my order gets delivered, I see Mo, and the other interns getting out of the elevator.

I pay for the delivery and tip the delivery guy for making it just in time, I follow my colleagues to the cafeteria and see Maya sitting with interns. Maya and Christine are the only the two assistants around our age, meaning most days Maya spends her time with us not the other assistants as they are way older than her.

'Hey guys! Mind if I join you?' I ask before pulling a chair.

"No, I was just asking Maya where you were."   Pete, the other intern says.

I don't know if it's just me, but Pete looks like he is crushing me. 'I bought you Chinese.' I say putting the take out in front of Maya.

"I already ordered food from cafeteria." She says with a bored tone.

"Trouble in paradise?" Marlene says looking shocked. "If she doesn't want your food, may I have it?" She continues and  Pete frowns at her.

"What? I'm sure Victoria doesn't mind."

'I guess you can have them if Maya doesn't mind, I bought them for her after all.' I say with a shrug knowing Maya will bite ger head off.

Marlene is about to take Maya's take out when her hand gets slapped. "You just said you don't want Victoria's food." She say dramatically.

"But I never said you could have them, did I?" Maya questions her and just before Marlene could reply, she takes the take out and eats making us all laugh.

"You two are so dramatic, one would think you are dating or something. Why are you mad at her?" Pete asks biting into his food.

"None of your business lover boy" Marlene flips Pete's hair.

After lunch Maya and I walk back to walk and I explain to her what happened this weekend. Once I have explained that my phone was off the whole day on Friday and didn't think to turn it on during the weekend she understands. I was so focused on spending time with Mo, making up for the mess I did all the while not aware that I'm doing the same thing I did to Mo with Maya.

When we get back to work, I carry on from where I left off, by the time I go to Dr Pepper's office so she can go over my work. She tells me that I have learned all it is that I could learn during internship, and that she will be giving me more sessions this week that I will be handling on my own.

By 4PM on the dot I hear my phone vibrating in my bag, I take it out and see that it's Tracy the receptionist from downstairs calling. It's not normal to get a call from her, but I take the call either way.

'Hey Tracy'

"Victoria, are you done for the day?"

'Yes, why?'

"Please come downstairs as soon as you are free to go."

'Alright, I will be there in a few minutes.' I say before ending the call, wondering why she asked all those questions.

Once I'm sure that I gave everything that I need, I take my bag and see Maya coming my way. "What's with the face?" She asks me.

'I just got a call from Tracy and I couldn't understand anything she said.' I tell Maya as we walk down the hallway to the elevators. Marlene, Pete and Christine are already waiting by the elevators. Just as we arrive the doors open and we get in all five of us.

"I can't wait to get home, I'm so tired." Pete says.

"Tired of sitting around all day?" Marlene and Christine both ask him.

Pete and Marlene are still bickering by the time the elevator reaches downstairs, we all get out of the elevator, those two still at it. I'm going through my phone, looking if Hayden left any messages for me. I haven't heard from him all weekend, his phone is not going through.

I know he did tell me that he will be super busy, but it's not like him to disappear like this. I should call Jamie later and see if he's heard anything from Hade. I'm putting my phone in my bag when I notice that everyone has suddenly kept quiet and Maya keeps poking at me.

'What is it? Stop poking me.' I tell Maya and she gestures at something at the reception area, I turn to look at the direction Maya is pointing at and there next to Tracy's reception desk is none other than my boyfriend.

"Damn! Who is that?" Marlene asks nobody in particular.

"I wouldn't mind carrying his children! He is so yummy." Says Christine almost drooling.

Tracy says something to Hade and he looks up, locking eyes with me and he smiles. He thanks Tracy and comes our way looking so handsome in his grey suit, it looks like it was custom made just for him.

"Oh my goodness! He is coming this way." Christine says before I walk away from them meeting Hade halfway.

"Where is she going?" I hear Pete asking Maya in the background.

"That ladies and gentleman is Tori's boyfriend." Maya says proudly.

'Hey' I say to Hade looking dreamily at him.

"Hey" He says with a smile and hugs me.

I pull away from him, and wave at Maya and the others, leaving them behind. I can't believe he came to pick me up from work. I thought making up with Maya was the highlight of my Monday, but seeing Hade after five days is the highlight of my week.
