"You still write those letters?" Bethany asked, plopping down on my bed.

"Yeah," I answered, tucking my recent letter in an envelope. "Hey Beth?"

"Hayden?"

"What did you say to Evangeline that made her throw the beaker?" I asked and I immediately felt her anger begin to radiate from off of her. "O-Or you don't have to tell me."

"No, it's fine, Hayde," She gave me a smile. "She was just taking about how you were a good fuck and that's the only reason why she stayed with you. I told her to fuck off. She threw the beaker then I beat her ass."

"Oh," I said, staring at the blank computer screen in front of me.

I was just a good fuck? That's all I was to her?

"Hayde," I felt Bethany wrap her arms around my neck from behind. "She didn't deserve you. She's a bïtch and if the time you both spent together meant nothing to her, she isn't worth your tears."

A small smile rose to my lips, "Beth?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you go on a date with me?" I asked and her arms went stiff around my neck. "I-If you don't want to, that's fine with me."

"I'd love to go!" She exclaimed then cleared her throat. "I-I mean, sure, I'd like to go on a date with you."
