PERCY'S POV

Just as Nico fell asleep, someone knocked on the door. Percy had forgotten to take the do not disturb sign off.

"Come in!"

A nurse with dark hair and bright blue eyes walked in.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Visiting hours are over," she explained.

"Oh, okay. I'll be going in just a minute. Thank you."

The nurse nodded and left, closing the door behind her.

Percy leaned down and kissed Nico for a good minute before leaning back.

"I love you. Sleep well," Percy whispered.

He could've sworn he saw Nico smile in his sleep.

-Time Skip to the next day at school-

Percy hopped out of the cab and paid the driver. Then he slung his dark blue backpack over his shoulders and walked inside.

Percy made a quick trip to his locker to drop off some books and grab the ones he needed for his next three classes: Geometry, Biology and English.

"Hey!" Percy turned around to see Destiny smiling at him. He managed a weak smile.

"Hey, what's up?"

"The better question is what's up with you? You look horrible."

Percy felt his face grow hot with embarrassment. "My boy- my friend got beat up so I visited him last night. I'm just worried," Percy stuttered. Destiny smirked knowingly.

"Were you going to say boyfriend?" Destiny asked, grinning. Percy chuckled.

"He's not officially but we've already kissed," Percy mumbled.

"That's great!" Destiny said, smiling widely.

"So you're not freaked?"

"Not at all! My brother's bi."

"That's awesome. Okay look, please don't say anything. You know.... Bullies," Percy explained. Destiny nodded and held out her pinky.

Percy laughed but locked his pinky with hers.

"I pinky promise!" she declared. Percy guffawed then slapped his hand onto his mouth.

"That was embarrassing," he grumbled. Destiny started crying because she was laughing so hard.

"You... Sounded like... A girl!" She exclaimed through fits of laughter. Meanwhile, Percy was blushing like crazy. Just then, the bell rang.

"Okay come on come on. Let's go to class."

Percy sat down next to Destiny at lunch. His friend had a salad and a Sprite while Percy had tacos and a Coke.

"Hey, I just got a great idea!" Destiny exclaimed.

"What?"

"Maybe you could take me to see Nico today!"

"That's a great idea! We can go after school."

"Sounds good."

-time skip to after school-

Destiny and Percy walked side by side, talking and laughing until they got to the main part of the city.

Percy hailed a cab and jumped in, Destiny right behind.

He looked over and was surprised to see that she looked... Disappointed??

"Hey, what's wrong?" Percy asked, searching her amber eyes. Destiny looked up, her gaze glittering with tears.

"I- Promise not to be freaked out?"

"I promise."

"I-" Destiny took a deep breath. "I like you."

Percy looked at her in awe and surprise.

"I-I'm sorry," Percy mumbled.

Destiny managed a weak smile. "It's okay."

"Hey, if you don't want to go today..."

"No, no. I still ship Percico hardcore!"

Percy laughed, relieved that the awkward tension had disappeared.

"We're still friends?" Destiny asked suddenly.

"Of course!" Percy exclaimed and wrapped her in a friendly hug.

Destiny hugged back, a smile lighting on her face.

-Time Lord Skip to the Hospitaaaal-

When they got to the hospital, Percy and Destiny walked out together.

They went to the front desk and the lady working there looked up.

"Name?" she asked.

"Nico di Angelo."

"Okay, room 217. He was asking for someone named Percy earlier."

Percy smiled. "That would be me. Thanks."

Destiny followed Percy as they walked up the stairs. Elevators are too cliche.

Percy made his way down the maze of hallways until he found room 217. Before opening the door, he turned to Destiny.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

Destiny nodded.

Hesitantly, Percy opened the door.

"Nico?" Percy whispered. The son of Hades looked up and smiled.

"Hey Percy. Uh, not to be rude, but who's this?" Nico asked, his voice weary.

"This is-" "I'm Destiny. Don't worry; Percy and I have nothing going on and I ship Percico hardcore!"

Nico looked at her, his expression baffled. Percy had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing.

"Um what's Percico?" Nico asked innocently.

"You and Percy being together forever! Duh!" Destiny said.

Percy was sure Nico was going to turn into a tomato.

Percy turned to Destiny and whispered something in her ear and handed her a dollar. She smiled brightly and left the room.

"Uhhhh, where's she going?" Nico asked.

Percy smirked. "You'll see."

Five minutes later, Destiny reentered, holding something behind her back.

Percy grabbed the thing from Destiny's hands and opened it behind his back.

Then, Percy got down on one knee.

"Nico di Angelo, will you be my official boyfriend," Percy asked, dramatically holding out the Ring Pop.

Nico got teary-eyed and slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Yes Percy. A million trillion times yes."

Idk how I'm going to get to the point I want to end it, but I'll get there.
