As I wake up early in the morning I hear the little rain droplets fall upon my windowsill . I stretch my muscles and look through my wet window. I smile to myself as I see little rain puddles on the side of my drive way.

I love it when it rains. Rain comforts me like no other. It warms my soul. I'm a Pluviophile - a lover of rain , who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

I take a quick shower and after wearing my navy blue school skirt,  white shirt , navy blue school blazer and black stockings. I tie my wild black hair into a messy bun and rush down stairs for breakfast.

My mom smiles at me as I approach the kitchen counter. "Morning mom" I say cheerfully. "Morning sweetie , I guess today is your lucky day " she replies placing a bowl of cereal in front of me. "Yes it is , its raining" I say with a spoonful of Milo cereal. "Hey , what happened to your table manners " mom says with a playful frown. I shoot her a sheepish smile.

We finish breakfast and walk to the car. Since its raining today mom decides to take me to school. The drive to school just takes 20 minutes. I jump out of the car and rush to Mr Brown's classroom. When I see Katalia reading her book peacefully at the corner of Mr Brown's classroom a small smile creeps out.

"Hey predictable bitch" I say with a wicked grin

"I'm not a predictable bitch" she says chuckling softly to herself

"Well I easily predicted that I'll find you here so that makes you a predictable bitch"

She rolls her eyes at me

"Well would you have liked it if you had to search for me throughout the whole school?"

I flash her a toothy smile

Before I can respond she says,"thought so"

"Wait how'd you know what I was gonna say?" I ask with a confused tone

She narrows her eyes and says," I'm your bestfriend remember therefore I know you"

"No I don't remember actually " I say playfully" I've been in a severe coma , can't remember a thing , what's your name again?"

Katalia giggles softly and slaps my back playfully. The bell rings and we rush to our first lesson.

"First in class Zillie" says Mrs Lategon with a cute smile

"Second in class , Kayla" she winks at me and gives me my life science test back

"Third in class ,Charles" she gives Charles his paper , the class claps their hands for the top three then Mrs Lategon  says with her soft voice ," the rest of the paper's are not in order." I look at my life science paper . Ninety percent written in a red pen makes me smile.

"Weldone" says Andrè giving me a genuine smile "thanks" I say

Andrè is the only guy who still talks to me after Nathan dumped me in front of the whole school. We do corrections after a few minutes the bell rings for the next lesson. I walk out of class , heading straight to my next lesson. "Hey , how do you manage to get ninety percent ?" Andrè asks walking besides me.

" I don't know , I just listen in class" I say

"You don't study?" He asks looking serious for the first time.

"Well since I listen in class I don't really have to study , I just revise the day before a test" I respond looking up at him though he's not that much taller than me.

"Well I guess I need to do a little bit more of listening in class " he says looking straight ahead.

I laugh lightly at his response then say,  " I guess so"

The guy I bumped into yesterday walks towards Andrè and I . "Hey man" he says to Andrè then turns to look at me.

"Hey" he says softly

Uninterested in his pathetic greeting I say hello back and walk to class . The second lesson goes by fast. Katalia and I meet each other in the cafeteria since its raing.

"Weldone" she says smiling genuinely

"Weldone ?" I ask

"Uuhhmm , life science " she  says taking out a packet of dried fruit

"Oohh thanks" I say taking out my purple lunch box

Katalia jumps up to give me a hug and says weldone again. I laugh at her and say , " weird bitch , why are you jumping up like that? "

"I'm proud of you silly" she says " don't look now , but Leo seems to be talking about you"

As soon as she finishes  her sentence I turn around to see if Leo is really looking at me. Katalia grabs my head and says " what part of don't look now didn't you understand "

I laugh loudly at her words . I turn around to look at Leo again , my eyes meet his and our eyes don't move we just stare at each other until one of his friends grab his arm.

"And what the hell was that" Katalia asks

"What was what?"

"The staring competition "

I laugh softly and say ," there was no staring competition " we enjoy our lunch till the end of break.

After school Katalia and I meet each other in the girls changing room. I change into my softball kit which consists of tight black shorts and a tight black vest, written first team. I adore my shorts because they clearly show my smoothe long legs. I hate my vest because it exposes how small my breasts are. We quickly change and walk out the change room.

As I step outside I bump into someone tall with hard muscles. I look up at the tall figure only to find out its Leo.

"You're always bumping into me" I say a bit agitated

"Well it's not like I plan to bump into you" he says a bit agitated himself

"Well maybe you should watch where you're going" I say

Katalia pinches my arm. Leo shakes his head and walks off.

"Why are you always mean to him?" Katalia asks

"I'm not" I say

"You are" she argues

"Agggh whatever I'll see you after practice , you'll wait for me right?" I ask

"Naaah" Katalia responds with a small smile creeping out. "Come on Kat" I plead " I don't know I'll see" she shouts running to the hockey room.

I make my way down to the
Softball room. Half past four and softball practice is done. The girls run to the changing room , Leila and I walk slowly behind them. Leila is also the only girl who still talks to me after my humiliating incident.

Once we reach the changing room its been deserted. We change quickly while sharing some jokes. As we walk out I see Leo , Andrè and Shaun walk towards our direction.

"Afternoon ladies" Andrè says with a little smirk.

"Heeey" we say a bit too cheerfully we both recognize our cheerfulness and we start to giggle. We look back at Andrè and find him looking at us and cracking his head off. I roll my eyes at him. Leo gives me a weary look and it actually breaks my heart a little. We exit the school and meet Katalia at the gate. We all walk together back home.

When I get home the house is dead silent , I figure mom is not back from work yet. I walk up to my bedroom and throw myself on my bed. My mind wonders off to Nathan. Even though things didn't end well , thinking about us , our past when everything was perfect makes me smile.  I think about his small pink lips. His almond shaped hazel eyes. His tanned skin and his light brown messy hair. His freshly shaved face and how I use to be his Queen and how I gave myself to him on this bed.

We had come back from a romantic lunch and mom was still at work. I led him to my room. We played pillow fight. He was very playful. He laid his masculine body on top of mine. We locked eyes and he told me he loved me. I asked him if he meant it ,he told me he did. I still can't believe he lied to me. I continue reminiscing about our good days.
