"Snap, I almost dropped my coffee!" Na Jaemin shouted, holding the cup of his iced Americano tight in his hands, while staring at his best friend Huang Renjun who was standing opposite of him, giving him weird looks. "What even was that about?" Renjun asked and looked at Jaemin who was still standing in the middle of the road, legs spread and his hair everywhere. Renjun cocked an eyebrow and Jaemin just took his straw in his mouth and took a big sip of his coffee ignoring Renjun's questions.

The two boys were currently wandering around in a busy street in Gangnam-gu. Renjun looked at his wallet, while his best friend was stumbling behind him, hissing and still cussing because of his coffee; the Chinese lad was checking his money. "I need some items so I hope my pocket money is enough." He said and Jaemin looked at him. "What is it that you have to get from Moomin & Me once again?" Jaemin asked, saying the name of Renjun's favourite store in Seoul.

"My gel pens are empty and I wanted to get new letter paper. I only have one or two sheets and envelopes left." Renjun said when they stood in front of the blue shop that Renjun adored with all his heart. "What's up with you and letters lately?" Jaemin asked. "You're not taking notes so often anymore."

Huang Renjun was a sixteen-year-old, quite High School student who's biggest wish was to become a private detective like his favourite Hero Sherlock Holmes. The young Chinese would always carry a notepad with him, which he got for his birthday from his best friend Na Jaemin and would always take notes about stuff he has seen or experienced these days.

Sadly, Renjun did some stupid things in his past which caused him and Renjun to almost fall apart, never had but they caught themselves again and were stronger than ever. And ever since then Renjun had been pretty interested in stationary and writing letters. He had read books about letters and watched movies about letter had never written a proper letter in his life.

"Have you already studied for the mock exams?" Jaemin asked and caught Renjun' off guard, who was still in his thoughts. "Oh sorry, what was that?" Renjun asked and entered the shop, looking through the cute items that featured pictures and drawings of the cute white troll. "Ah, I started but you know my family is pretty busy these days." The Chinese sighed and Jaemin cocked an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I forgot to ask about the Blind Date you went to last week!" Jaemin remembered, making Renjun cringe. "Please don't ask." Renjun sighed. "I didn't went there. Mama wasn't proud of me. She said it was some hell of a work to get the mother of this girl to agree to the date. And then I didn't even appear." Renjun sighed and Jaemin nodded.

Renjun's family moved to Korea a few years ago when Mr Huang managed to get a job at Samsung so the family moved to Seoul. At first it was really hard for Renjun to get to know the other kids at school even though he could speak Korean really well. But thanks to his mother who always had schedules planned for him at the weekends; Piano Lessons, Singing Lessons and other stuff. His mother was sure that he was going to get casted as a singer or actor at some point of his life so he had always been busy.

And now that he was sixteen, his mother tried to get him a proper girlfriend and not one of these raunchy classmates he always hung out with.

Jaemin knew how Mrs Huang was when it was about Renjun. But he also knew that Renjun knew how to keep his mum in his lines.

"Shall we look at the letter paper?" Jaemin asked and patted Renjun's shoulder who just nodded and smiled and walked to the stationary section with Jaemin.

"Oh! A new letter!" Inhye whisper-yelled and looked around seeing if anyone had heard her, before she took out the light pink envelope that once again carried her name in beautifully written Hangul. Inhye smiled, tracing the little Moomin on the bottom right corner with her finger. "So cute!" She smiled and shoved the envelope in her bag before rushing to the closest washroom to read the letter.

She locked herself in the stall and took the envelope out of her bag and carefully opened it, taking out two folded sheets of paper unfolding them and started reading them.

Dear Go In Hye,

how have you been these past days? I have been okay. My mum is giving me a hard time lately. Do you know when your parents are super strict, yet want you to be talented in everything? Yes, that's my mum 24/7!

Last week she forced me to go to a blind date with someone I never met nor knew the name of. She also only told me the coffee shop where I should meet that girl but you know what? I didn't appear to that date and my Mother was ready to open hell's gates for me and threw me down. She acted as if I sinned on the worst level. I just wasn't interested in a blind date. My mum is so stubborn!

How are your parents like?

Oh wait, you don't even know who I am so how am I supposed to get your answers... Wait how about you simply put your reply in my locker? My locker is number 15B right next to the Chemistry classroom! I can't wait to get your answer, Go Inhye!

I hope you'll have a nice day! Don't let Park Haewoo treat you badly.

— R.

Inhye smiled after reading the letter and put it back into her bag, thinking about what to answer to R. His letter was much more personal than the first one, but Inhye really liked. R was slowly becoming more real to her and she wondered a lot about his personality.

"He seems to struggle with his mother a lot. Ha, I know that feeling as well." Inhye smiled and left the washroom, thinking about the stationary she was going to use for her answer to R.
