Dear Jon,
     Sorry I took so long to write again but a lot of things are happening.  First I made a new friend and his name is Luke.  He's not as good as you but he's still great.  He's standing up to the other kids for me and we hang out.  He loves video games almost as much as you and I think that if you two met you would be great friends. 
      Second I've been failing some of my classes and my dad is not happy.  You know how my dad can get when things aren't to his liking.  He can get a little overwhelming and I think my mom is seeing another man.  But who can blame her my dad is not the best partner. 
     The last thing that is bugging me is how my teachers are treating me.  They act like they're walking on eggshells when I'm around.  I'm not that fragile, I'm very tough.  Who am I kidding, I'm a whiny child that misses his best friend.  I can't even stand up for myself. 
      I have to have Luke stand up for me against the others.  I know that you would have standed up for me if you were here but you're not.  I really do wish that drunk driver never had crashed into us.  If he hadn't you would be with me at school and all. 
     It's really hard but I guess Luke is making life easier.  He's actually there for me and I really appreciate all he's done for me.  He is a very good friend and I wish you could meet him.  It's getting really late so I better be going but I promise to write to you quicker.
