To Little Fairy,

It took you a long time, did it not? For you to realize what you felt for me. Your ignorance to your own feelings sometimes made me jealous. There you were smiling, laughing so beautifully when you were with me, content with the friendship we had while there I was, dazzled by the brightness of that smile, lost in the depth of your eyes.

You kept complaining about me becoming quiet as I grew older, and never could I tell you, it was because of you. Your presence beside me felt like a blessing, a nectar awarded to me from such a young age that I was rendered mute every time I inhaled your elusive fragrance.

I fell in love with you since I knew the meaning of love.

When my father once asked me, why do I not have an ambition to achieve something higher in life, I could only smile. For how could I explain it to him, that the greatest gift I could ever dream about was already given to me in the form a little fairy who burst in existence, and infused me with colors so bright that I could never recognize what darkness meant.

I was waiting for you to tell me. I was waiting to call you mine. And now, I finally can.
