Dear Patrick,

If I ever met you, the first thing I would probably blurt out would be something along the lines of "I love your glasses!" Why? Because I'm crazy like that.

Anyways, it is a very true statement. It's not common that I see someone famous with glasses, so when I saw you, it inspired me. The fact that your wore them without shame (and looked adorable as well) gave me hope that despite my messed up eyes, I could go places - places beyond being the stereotypical nerd - without having to wear contacts. But the best thing is, it's not just about your glasses - it's bigger than that. It reminds me that one does not have to be perfect in order to be famous or successful.

So this is just a little note (that I'm sure you'll never read) to remind you to keep being yourself. You have no idea how much the little things count.
