Past:

"Goodbye, Uchiha. See you in the other side", she waved her hand at the raven guy.

"Same to you, (y/n)-san."

Both of them parted their ways to walk on their path, the path that covered with fake hatred. Both of them fight for love right now. Itachi just like Hairi who love their younger siblings so much. While (y/n) and Sasuke have their own path to kill their brothers who once thrown them into a deep pit of despair. But for (y/n), she just want to end her brother's suffering and because of love, not because of her revenge. She already left that revenge path on now, she is very certain on her decision right now.

(y/n) went to the clearing that was located in the woods to meet up with Hairi. She knew he's waiting for her there. That clearing holds a lot of precious memories between those two, they always play together, train together and spent some leisure time together at that clearing when they were younger. When she's arrived at her destination, she saw the man that she's looking for. He was sitting with on crossing his legs on that big boulder while looking at her.

"It's been a long time, little sister..." He said, still sitting on his throne.

"It sure is, Hairi. Before we begin our fight, I have one question for you." She said while reaching for her katana.

"Last question... Sure. Go on." He said, still wearing that stoic face.

"Do you still love me, Nii-san?"

After that question was said, a long silence came between them. Hairi still having his stoic impression while (y/n) still waiting with patience for Hairi's answer.

No answer.

"I will take that as a yes, Nii-san. You have a question for me as well, right?" She proceed.

Hairi's stoic face now changed and it's clear that he's pretty confused with his sister's words. He really didn't understand the meaning behind her phrases.

"Okay, let me tell you then. I live only to kill you, Hairi. After this, I will have no purpose to live anymore. From that, I hope I already answered your question." She said and unsheathed her katana before positioned herself to fight. Still with her Akatsuki robe, she smiles sweetly at her brother. "I still love, Nii-san."

Then, she stormed towards Hairi with her blade in order to stab him. To kill him in an instant with only one thrust but, she knew that Hairi is an assassin. Hairi deflected the blade with his katana, still sitting on the boulder. He didn't even flinch from that attack.

(y/n) parry his blade and leaped, stepped on Hairi's katana and quickly make a backflip before landing behind him. She thrust her sharp katana from his back but he kicked her without even looking or glancing. She was thrown away from him after receiving that impact.

"Is that all, (y/n)?" He finally stood up from the boulder and slowly approaching his sister.

(y/n) also back on her feet. No matter how bad her injuries will be, she still can fight without any problems because her body is now numb. Only from blood lost, she will slowly die from that without any pain struck her body.

The fight continues and those siblings fight very hard, both of them struggling to take each other down. Blade clashing, crashing sounds and a few loud thumps were the only sounds that can be heard between them other than their heavy breathing.

After two hours, (y/n) managed to land her blade on Hairi but it was only at his left shoulder. He felt no pain, and quickly charged his blade at (y/n) which she quickly kicked Hairi's legs to mess his balance. He fell down and that's her chance. She kicked Hairi's face really hard and he was thrown away, crashing his back roughly at a big boulder behind him. He coughed up blood from that impact which is also because of his illness.

"This is it, Nii-san."

"Get away from my sight!" Kakashi slashed those white weird looking guy who was slowing them down from their pursuit.

"That's the last one, Senpai."

"Okay, let's go!" Kakashi ordered his comrades.

"Are you sure, Kakashi? How the others? They might encounter with the Akatsuki as well. Both Itachi and (y/n) are in Akatsuki, remember?" Shizune threw her question at the silverette.

The three of them split up from Naruto and the others to look for (y/n) while they will handle Itachi. They want to capture them and ask about Akatsuki's plan and to bring Sasuke back to Konoha. It's one of the most brilliant idea ever thanks to the blonde, Naruto.

"Trust them, Shizune. They're not kids anymore. Besides, their numbers are larger than us." Kakashi replied coldly. He really wants to take (y/n) to Konoha with him no matter what! He will fulfill this today!

"Do you love her, Kakashi?" Shizune asked bluntly.

Kakashi was taken back from that and sighed. "Yes."

"Hhmpph... After all these years, Kakashi..." Shizune rolled her eyes and dashed ahead. The three of them quickly sprint to their destination to bring (y/n) back.

Present:

"You're getting... Stronger... Now... Little sis..." The dying man said while praising his sister who is now stabbing him right in his heart. His blood gushed out along with his live. Slowly, he felt his live flew away from his weak body. "I'm... Proud of... You... (y/n)..." He said and gave her a sweet smile. The last smile before his live left his body completely.

The young woman pulled out her katana from the dead body and tilted her head upwards. The rain slowly pouring down to wash away the blood of her beloved brother. She fell on her knee while holding her sobs but she can't hold it much longer now. She cried hysterically and punched the ground as hard as she can. "Why me?!!! Why is it always me??!!!" She cried again and again.

Then, she took out her kunai and placed it at her chest, ready to stab herself any minutes now. "I already accomplished my goal and now... I have no reason to live anymore... I have no more regrets too." She slowly stabbed herself with that kunai. Her blood is gushing out from her chest but the pain, she can't feel it anymore. She felt so numb right now.

Suddenly, a familiar voice stormed her eardrums. "STOP!!! (Y/N)!!!"

(y/n) glanced at the man and smile bitterly at him before collapsed on the ground. Her blood is now being washed away along with her brother's blood by the rain. Their body is now being side by side with each other.

"No! (y/n)!" The man quickly ran and pulled the weak body in his arms. "Hey, (y/n)! Wake up! Shit. Why did you do this?!" He said while shaking the limp body vigorously to wake her up.

"Kakashi, let me heal her." Another young woman said to him.

"P-Please..." Kakashi begged to her. "Please save her, Shizune."

"I will try my best... But first, we need to find a shelter from this heavy rain." Shizune said to the masked jounin.

"Kakashi-senpai! Over here! I found a cave over here!" Another friend of his called for him.

"Right away, Yamato!" Kakashi said, he quickly lift the woman and ran to the said cave with Shizune and Yamato. Then, he placed down the bleeding woman and Shizune quickly do her job as a medical ninja. She was so sad as well to witness one of her friend ended up like this.

Kakashi was going back and forth non-stop while waiting for Shizune done with her job. He ran his fingers through his silver locks and let out a rough grunt to show how frustrated he is right now.

"Calm down, Senpai. Why do you want to save her that bad? She's a rogue ninja, she will face a death penalty for that if we bring her back to Konoha." Yamato said to his senior.

"I don't care! If she die, kill me too! Let me die with her! If she's locked in the prison, lock me up too! Or... Just take me as her substitute..." The silverette said while his manly tears is now flooding in his dark orbs.

"Now you regret about it, Kakashi? I thought that night you said 'fuck off' to her. Did you knocked your head anywhere, Kakashi? I can help with that hard skull of yours as well..." Shizune growled in anger.

"Tch..." Kakashi clicked his tongue while his memory is now playing the memory tape in his mind. It was a long time ago but it's still fresh in his mind.

"What happened actually between you and this woman, Kakashi-senpai?" Yamato asked his senior.

"I'm the one who's at fault... I'm so fucking stupid back then! She loves me so much but I just pushed her away for not knowing what she's doing was all for me. I'm so stupid... And now, I love her." He confessed.

Shizune, who was still mad at him just focused on healing her friend. Her very best friend, (y/n). She knew she can help her because of her skills now. There's no way she will let her friend die like this.

After three hours, Shizune finally finished with her job. She bandaged (y/n)'s chest and let her lie down there. Shizune just looked at her with her cloudy vision. She took (y/n)'s hand and held it firmly in her grip.

"It seems that the other group are having trouble as well. Shino told me that they got an information that Itachi is dead. They are pursuing to look for Sasuke now." Kakashi told his comrades.

"You mean... Sasuke... Really killed Itachi?" Yamato asked after he kept silent for a long time.

"Yes. And Shizune, please look after-"

"If you love her, prove it, Kakashi." Shizune stood on her feet with her deadly glare locked at the masked-jounin in front of her. She turned to face Yamato and said, "Let's go, Yamato."

Yamato just looked at Kakashi and sighed before he followed Shizune's steps to act as a reinforcement team for Naruto and his friends. The two of them then slowly vanished from Kakashi's sight.

Kakashi sat beside (y/n) and pull out a handcuffs which has sealing formula to tie (y/n)'s hands. That special handcuffs will make sure that she can't mold any chakra or even unlock it by herself.

But, he felt pity on her. He put those cuffs away and looked down at his feet. He didn't know what to do because his inner voice was so loud at the moment, cursing himself and keep blaming himself for what happened to the woman that he loves.

Suddenly, (y/n) opened her eyes and get up on her feet. She tapped the dust away from her shirt and take her katana before settling her way out there. She saw Kakashi just looked at her with his wide eyes but she just ignores him. She looked at herself once again and she realized that her Akatsuki robe is now gone. Maybe it's gone during her intense fight with Hairi just now.

"Where are you going, (y/n)?" Kakashi finally stood up and called her.

"No where... Maybe, throw myself from a cliff? That way, you can't heal me anymore..." She said and continue to walk away.

"No, (y/n)!" Kakashi quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her gently.

She didn't realise that touch at first because she literally can't feel anything now. She just knew that Kakashi was holding her because she was tugged back by him and he pulled her in a deep hug.

(y/n) felt something is off. Usually, it will feel very warm if someone hug her like this but, she feels nothing. Just, emptiness.

However, she felt something else as well. The feeling that she already discarded but, it came back to her. It came back while she's in Kakashi's arms, in his loving embrace.

"Please, (y/n)... Come back to Konoha. Please... We can start a new life again... Together..." He said, full of love in his words. No more harshness or coldness resides within his words now.

"Why?" She asked coldly. Still avoiding the silverette's gaze from meeting her's.

"Because... I love you, (y/n)..." He confessed and his eyes tells it all.

"Why?" She asked again, trying to push Kakashi away from her but his grip become tighter around her body.

"I finally know your true feelings, (y/n)... Your honesty with your loving figure... I'm so blind for not witnessing that. Your love for me is beyond your love towards your own life. And now... I want to return that feeling, (y/n)... I love you. I really do." He gave his reasons.

After hearing his words, that feeling that was eating (y/n) became more aggressive than before. She really want it. She can't deny it anymore.

I want to live.

But she still feels the opposite as well. What else could she do right now. With her decaying body, if she accepts his love and try to open a new book with him, she will left him in despair for sure. She loves him, it's true. That's why, the very least she wants to do is to make sure that he's happy. To make him smile, not cry because of her. Why now he told her that he love her? Why now? It's beyond late for that. Even there's a cure for her sickness, it won't help her now. Not at this stage. She will die within few months.

Then, she got an idea. Maybe, this is the least she could do. After this, he will be satisfied and he will forget about her.

"I see... You love me..." She said to him, still with her old tone.

Kakashi took out a letter from his pockets and showed it at her. "I... I found this... No, Shizune found this in your apartment, after you left years ago... And from this letters... I found out that your love is mutual and... That's what I've been looking for until now. Your love, (y/n)... I'm sorry for treating you that way. I'm so sorry. You don't have to forgive me... You have the rights to be mad at me... It's okay if you want to kill me right now. It's better than a life without you, (y/n)... Please, just... Let's go back to Konoha. And let's build a new life together. I promise that I will love you, I will protect you, I will shower you with all of my affection and I will take a good care of you... Just, don't leave me ever again, (y/n)... Please... I'm begging to you..." He fell down on his knees while sobbing helplessly.

(y/n) just looked at him with her blank and dull eyes but deep inside, she felt so guilty to left him to suffer like this. It's all her fault as well in this case and she knew it. So, it's decided. She will go on with her plan. Plus, she won't feel anything anymore.

She quickly pin Kakashi down and he was so shocked with that. After being thrown like that, his fast reflex was to pin her down back. He was clearly blushing at that position, him being on top of her.

Then, (y/n) pulled her head up and kissed him against his mask. She smirks afterwards while eyeing at the blushing silverette on to of her. She playfully bring his crotch with her knee to resume with the game.

Kakashi sweat dropped and his breathing rate is now raising as well. That pleasure between his thighs, he craves for more. "W-What are you doing... Uughh..." He said between his soft moans.
