Dear Soldier

I was born in 1931 thirteen years after your war to end all wars ended.

I remember vividly seeing survivors of your war begging in the street, mentally and physically injured selling matches. This picture has remained with me - always hoping this would never happen again.

Our soldiers are coming back from Afghanistan in 2014 in the same condition - when will man realise war doesn't solve anything.

Soldier - you would have been so disappointed.

Rest in peace my hero.
