Letter to Weirdas
Hi, Weirdas!
How are you? :)
I know it has been a while. If I am not mistaken, it has been two months since I stopped updating my stories. Following the postponement of the self-pub of Saving Forever this year, I took the opportunity to rest my mind, heal, and regain my strength.
I am writing this letter to end the silence, and to voice out the inner thoughts that have been roving over my head for the past few weeks. So many things happened, and I wish not to go into details. Those things not only affected my health but also my mental state and emotions. Sadly, it drowned the remaining trust and passion I have for myself.
For the time being, I am still recouping and healing myself. Nothing has changed; I still love writing, but lately, writing seems like the most difficult thing to do. Every time I picked myself up to write I always found myself hesitating. I feel like, I could never write something people would be proud of or satisfied with. I lost my self-worth and confidence, but I am trying to heal little by little. It takes a lot of deep breaths and tears, but I will endure.
I am blessed to have an amazing, brave, respectful, kind, and supportive team who carried the burden, and problem with me. They made sure that my peace was respected and valued. True to Direk Alt's words, "Let's suffer together." This iconic line has found its way into each of their hearts. And I thank God for giving me great people behind my back, and readers who invariably patiently wait for me.
I will be back, and I will make you proud of me for keeping myself grounded, and for not giving up on myself and my dreams. Your support, understanding, and prayers would mean a lot to me. My only wish and prayer for this month, since it's almost my birthday, is to heal and be genuinely happy again. I wish to write again with my heart and soul... and without the doubt creeping into me every time I compose a word. I will be fine; don't worry about me. :)
I believe that everything happens for a reason. Soon, things will manifest at the right time. Thank you for still patiently waiting for me my dear, Weirdas. I promise that I will come back stronger and happier.
And wait for Saving Forever in 2024.
Until then, see you in my future updates, and always look after yourself.
Love,
Madam Weirdy
