"Your fellow agents lying there just got caught in the crossfire"

"...this is because of me?"

"Indeed this is your karma weretiger, you will cause ill for everyone just by being alive."

"My karma?"

"Rashoumon!"

Atsushi wakes up.

"Where...am..I?"

He slowly looks around.

"I see you've come to,brat"

Atsushi looks to the right.

"Kunikida?"

"Damm I can't believe you pulled this during such a busy time."

Atsushi then gets flashbacks of what happened previously.

'I was..attacked by the port mafia....I remember now'

"Kunikida-San where are Tanizaki and Naomi?!"

"Calm down, they're both okay."

"Are you...sure?"

"Yes,Dr.Yosamo is treating Tanizaki right now next door."

Next door....

A large light flashed

"What a nice big injury you've racked up, huh Tanizaki? Do you like my treatment that much?"

Tanizaki was strapped to a bed as he couldn't move at all.

Dr.Yosano gave him a sadistic look.

"All right, I'll give you the extra special treatment plan this time~"

Tanizaki had a scared look on his face.

She unbuttoned her shirt.

He got even more terrified as she gave a sadistic laugh.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Atsushi could hear his screams as he was freaked out. Kunikida was reading his ideal book like nothing happened.

"Ah...."

"That's.....treatment?"

"I heard brat." Kunikida responded reading his book.

"Huh?"

"You have a seven-million ten bounty on your head on the black market" he continued.

"What?" Atsushi said in disbelief.

"Seven billion huh? You've moved up in the world, no wonder the port mafia are keen to get their hands on you."

"Seven billion?'

Atsushi remembers what Akutagawa said to him.

"I see..wh-wh-what should I do?! He worried."the mafia might launch a raid on the Agency. But why me?"

"Dont panic. The port mafia are certainly violent to the extreme,but keep your cool." Kunikida adviced.

"Losing your cool can kill even the most skilled."

Kunikida said reading as Atsushi realized something....his book was upside down.

"That's what my mentor told me." He flipped a page.

"Um..its upside down..your notebook"

"!!"

Kunikida turns it correctly as he gets up slowly and walks towards Atsushi.

"I haven't lost my cool!!" He shouted. " I'm not going to panic over the mafia! I'd beat them back, even if they attacked this very second!"

"Kunikida's pretty wound up..it must mean the Agency's situation is pretty dire,and all because of me.

"They'll come for sure, you caused this...the worst-case scenario may come to pass.think about what you can do.

'What I can do?'

By the way, brat I've been looking for something.." he began.

"Have you seen my glasses?"

Meanwhile at a port warehouse...

A  man with grey hair took a pack of cigarette as he lighted it to smoke.

Men with black suits approached him.

"Its time," one of them said.

The followed the man as they approached a door.

"Stay back," he warned.

The other men made way for him.

Using his ability he broke the metal door as it flew away from him. The now opened path revealed workers who got startled by the sudden break in.

"Sorry to bother you at work,folks"

"Wh-who the hell are you?

"We're here for work ,as well. We'll be done soon enough,"

All the workers there watched him.

"We've heard rumours that an unruly bunch have been selling port mafia cargo on the black market. They're supposedly based right here. We're just looking for evidence." He explained.

"Do you mind if I look through the cargo?" He approached them.

One of the cargo workers took a metal pipe as he ran to attack him from behind.

He simply touched the pipe as it bent and  the man flew all the way back to crash a container.

There's the evidence,right there."

"That's impossible, that's a steel pipe" thr man panicked.

"You've never seen a gift in action before?"

The man touched his shoulder using his ability as the man screamed in intense agony as his bones were broken. He laid in a pool of blood.

He takes his cigarette and lights it and smokes.

"Kill them all," he walks away.

All the men in suits wearing sunglasses shoot them with the their sophisticated guns.

The man smokes again while out of the room as he exhales the smoke.

"The best smokes are always after a job well done."

An explosion occurred  nearby  the agency as Atsushi notices and looks through a window.

"An explosion, what's going on?"

..

People were around the place as witnesses

" I hear it's a massacre"

"The military police say the port mafia's military squad did it..the black lizard group, the most violent of them all."

"The black lizard?"

"They're as good as special ops, and merciless to boot,"

Atsushi watched.

'The port mafia's black lizard..if they were to attack the agency..' he said imagining a terrible scenario.

Atsushi was standing in front of a telephone booth as he called the port mafia, Higuchi picked up the phone.

"Yes? Who is this?"

"It's me.."

"Weretiger..

'I seehe saw he the business card I left at the Agency.' She thought.

"Your colleagues saved you the other day,but that won't be the case next time. What do you want?"

"I'm going to quit the Agency. I'm going to quit, and go on the run alone. Catch me if you can!"

"I see," she grinned." So you're telling us to call off the war on the Agency?"

Atsushi puts the phone down as he walks away.

Higuchi back in the port mafia office puts the phone down as well.

"Call the black lizard!"

Back in the Agency...

Atsushi walks downstairs as he leaves through the hallways. Kunikida meets him as he's holding  a pile of books.

"Oh there you are,brat. Thanks to you it's a huge mess its highly probable that this will turn into the worst-case scenario, come help carry these- oi!

"There's no need to worry,  the worst case scenario won't happen anymore. This agency is safe."

"Huh?"

Atsushi leaves.

"Hey! Come help brat! Where are you running off to now?!"

Atsushi walks away

"I have finally found a reason to live?"  Dazai said holding the waitress hands.

"A reason to live?" The waitress asked.

"No, a reason I'd kept living on till now, that's right I've lived to this day so that I can be in a double- suicide with you, I'm sure of it, ah bella donna~"

" feel free to do it on your own,"

" A double-suicide is not possible alone."

"By the way Dazai-san do you have a proper life insurance policy?"

"Why would you ask that, Bella donna?" He said slightly sweating"

"Well..because you've racked up quite a tab, if you haven't gotten one yet, I'll be happy to refer you to one," she said.

There was a short pause.

"Ah! your vitality is blinding." Dazai said making a funny pose.

"Aw if that's the best you've got for changing the subject I'm going to go ahead and barge into your agency on the fourth floor.

"Ah! your decisiveness is even more blinding!" he said.

Akame was on the fourth floor with everyone else. She hasn't seen Atsushi for awhile and was wondering where he was.

" Kunikida-san do you know where Atsushi went?"

"That brat, he left a while ago, I have no idea where."

Meanwhile...behind the door the black lizard were already sent and where about to break into the Agency.

"Not even a sentry? talk about careless.." Tachihara the commander of the  black lizard said."

Hirotsu, leader of the black lizard was in front of the door as he walked to it and activated his ability busting the door open.

His henchmen after giving the signal were already at the sides of the door ready to ambush.

Kunikida, Yosano and Kenji looked in surprised along with Akame who sensed  their presence. Ranpo didn't look surprised nor interested not one bit.

"Who are you?" Kunikida asked.

"Apologies, even though you're a detective agency we forgot to make an appointment. And we forgot to knock." Hirotsu said.

"The port mafia's black lizard." Kunikida said

"Well, I hope you'll overlook these mishaps, our errand will be over soon enough." He pointed at their direction as his henchmen aimed their weapons at them.

Everyone got in their defense.

Atsushi was several blocks away from the agency as he felt sad. He then heard faint gunshot sounds from the distance

"gunshots? but that's where..." he looks and saw it was possibly from the agency.
"Why's the agency being attacked?!"

Atsushi dashed towards the place as he finally arrived at the agency few minutes later, climbing the stairs

'Why is this happening...its all because of me that everyone's in danger again!'

Atsushi finally entered. "Stop!"

Kunikida slammed Hirotsu to the ground.

"Huh?"

Kenji beat a henchmen as he grabbed his gun sitting on a pile of beaten up men.

Akame sweep kicked one as  the man fell down.

Yosano kicked one really hard.

Ranpo was leisurely drinking despite what's going on...

"So you're finally here, brat" kunikida said breaking Hirotsu's arm as he responded to the pain.

"Uhh...." Atsushi said not sure how to respond to this, for a minute he was worried but for them to beat up one of the port mafia's elite force like a bunch of regular smugglers was dumbfounding.

"This is why I hate raids, they really throw off our budget projections." He said writing something in his notebook.
"How much do you think repairing the office and replacing the inventory will cost?!"

"Using machine guns was a little over the top, it's your turn to go around the neighborhood with apologies and gifts, kumikida-kun" Yosano said.

"So it is a worse case scenario"

"Huh? So this is a worse case scenario?"
This is the port mafia military squad said to be on par with special ops?"

Atsushi was dumbfounded.

"Kunikida-kun what should we do with them?" Kenji asked.

"Throw them out the window" Kunikida ordered.

"Roger!" Kenji responded holding two men in his hands as he hilariously hurled them through the window.

"For the umpteenth time I wish they'd give up on raids," kunikida grumbled.

'So it's the umpteenth "time"?' Atsushi thought. ' the Agency's far more violent than the port mafia' he said quite shocked.

"Hurry up and help with the clean up brat, I  can't believe you wandered off in the middle of it all! I told you you're a member of the agency now you should be thinking about what you yourself can do, well helping with clean up is about all you can do,"

Atsushi had a brief moment to remember what he said earlier about him thinking what he can do as tears flowed from his eyes.

Akame approached Atsushi," Atsushi you're back- what's wrong why are you crying ?" Akame looked concerned

Atsushi gave a faint laugh

"Tch..if you've had enough time to laugh-" kumikida looks as he sees Akame wiping his tears.

"What, are you crying?" He asked.

Atsushi quickly realizes and turns around.."I..I..I'm not crying!"

Kunikida gets closer." You are"

He wipes his face." I'm not!"

"Just look at you, you're so typical for your generation even when given a job you just go off and play without permission, you cry if anyone gives you so much as a word of criticism"

"Good grief, Akame doesn't even get emotional when Kunikida lectures her." Yosano said.

"That's not it!"

"But you're crying" kunikida said once more.

" I am.."

" mhm" Akame nodded.

"But that isn't what its about!"
