I decide to take a chance with the reptilian monster. I walk over to it, slowly, acting like I don't notice anything. The creature sees me walking over and moves to the back of the school and I, being the smart person that I am, decide to follow it. Soon enough, it was me alone, in the back of the school with whatever the hell that thing is.

It turned to look at me, smirking, it's pupils slits, like a snakes.

"Aren't you an interesting one?" It asks in a hiss. The blood leaves my cheeks, and I feel a shiver go down my back. Whatever this thing is, it's terrifying.

I look around for a weapon, but find nothing. I hold my hands out in a fist in front of me, though I know it won't do anything. The reptile thing laughs at me, stalking closer.

"There's no one here to protect you, Dreamweaver." How she knew my name, I don't know. Either way, I knew I would have to do something to fight it.

The creature lashed out at me, and it looked like it would try to bite my neck with it's fangs. In a moment of desperation, I wave my hands, and it falls to the ground. I stare at it, then look at my hand, then back down to it. It wasn't dead, just... sleeping?

As I think of what just happened, a man in a tuxedo appears in front of me. "Looks like you're living up to your namesake," He comments, nudging the monster with his foot. At my confused expression, he sticks out his hand.

"Allan Jones." I don't shake his hand, so he let's it drop back down to his side.

"I'm here to take you somewhere you can train, and help us. You see, you come from a long line of powerful people. What do you say?"

Now, I'm faced with a decision. Do I go with the man, or get away from him.
