I decide to follow Laura, she seemed to know what was going on way better than I did. As we walked away, I saw the girl destroy the monster, cutting it to shreds. I stood still, staring at the girl. She looked back at me, grinning. I tried to read her, but I couldn't get anything. I held Laura's sleeve, stopping her.

"Laura, who is that?" I asked in a small voice.

"Kate, keep walking, don't make eye contact." She instructed, still walking. This girl was freaking me out. Laura kept walking.

"I will leave you, and it won't be good for you." I knew she was serious, and she would keep going without me.

I sighed, and decided I would go ask the girl what's going on. Laura's vagueness was bothering me.
